Wow you might want to top off another Cab, Snarkk this game is crazy!
There was so many guys on the infield I couldn’t tell if we had a runner on base anymore!
O joy more innings coming up, guess I have to reload a shot!
Charlie – what were you saying about LOB? Fuck…this is tortuous…
Giants must have 42 LOB.
Over the last two innings…
If the Giants had won it in the 10th , we wouldn’t have seen that awesome DP at 11:38 at night!
Smoking hot throw to 2nd Casilla to get that DP!!
One Hell of a baseball game tonight!
If I ever crash tonight I’ll have 42 nightmares…
Don’t they realize I have an 8 am meeting tomorrow?
Giants fans need sleep!
These guys are killing me. WTF, after sitting up to see the blood moon last night…time to sew this bee-otch up and send the fans home happy….
I still can’t believe Pagan couldn’t get it done vs. the “king and his court” defense.
Just want Pablo to hit one in the cove and end this!
Good news sort of if they PH for Casilla, Petit is built for the long haul to throw some more innings, just what we need more innings right?
Time for a gapper…
Pence is almost up to the Mendoza line now.
Well, that won’t help him.
I’m out, Flappers. Good luck…Make it an awesome hump day tomorrow…
Arias our last player on the bench with a knock!
Nobody better get hurt or Tim Hudson will be in the OF or Cain or Bum
Snots might get a PH role before this nights over..
Sit down Figgins, Petit’s dealing
Until Ramirez double Jesus Christ this game is killin me!!!
Puig didn’t run to firstbase. What a doofus.
Wow, that was a tense half-inning of midnight baseball.
I just could not do it (go to bed). WHOOT! What a game…what a win.
A good night for the team ERA.
Oh Hell Yes!!!
Thank you Hector .Sanchez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I can sleep now!!!
And now it’s Bruce Bochy’s Birthday since this game went so long!!
Happy Birthday Skipper!!!!
One more time…for real, this time. Good Night, Flappers!
Orange and Black and Don’t Look Back!
Before Arias hit I was hoping for a Casilla AB.
Mattingly with the 5 IF once bases were loaded was odd move, Giants couldn’t capitalize.
Best Lincecum outing of the season so far despite Uribe blast. Pen outdueled Dodgers and Jansen too. Nice.
I didn’t think the added infielder (believe it was Ethier) was odd, given the situation (runner at 3rd and less than two outs). In that situation, any ball that got through the infield ended the game. Unreal how many times the Giants had them juiced and could not get it done.
Bochy really needs to open it up a bit in certain situations (IMO). I thought a squeeze would have been perfect in a couple of those situations with the bases loaded.
Regardless…what a marathon and great win. This team just GRINDS! They never give up and continue to play for each other. Loving that aspect of the team.
Zumie – it is magnetic schedule night, tonight. You going?
Well, it wasn’t pretty, but I think that last night Timmy did improve over his previous start. Only real mistake was the hanger to fuckwad Uribe.
93 pitches for Tim to get through 5 innings, 64 of them were for strikes. Encouraging that he didn’t walk a batter again. He (and Vogey) while qualifying for wins the last few times need to stretch it out and get deeper into the games (six innings at a minimum). The bullpen won’t last if half of our starters cannot go over 5 innings.
yeah, Timmy working out of the bases-loaded jam was sweet, but then Beckett did it at least twice.
Chi, once sacks are loaded you can turn DP anywhere easier, without Ethier the fish out of water at 1b. I could see it initially, but after bases were loaded I thought he’d change.
Another odd move was getting Wilson up twice to warm up and not using him. From what I understand most guys hate that. And League did take the L.
I get it WillieD…you can turn the DP “IF” the ball is hit at an IFer. The added guy (Ethier) just helps plug a potential gap. I really don’t see it as that odd of a strategy. Again…ball gets through any gap…it is game over. Yeah, well I hope Two Trip’s getting Wilson up and not using him chapped his ass BAD!
Just looking at the box. FIFTY SIX LOB last night. Giants 32, Bums 24. I think the Giants left ’em loaded about 47 times…
Just read in one of the recaps that in the Giants’ last 12 games, their relievers have recorded an 0.68 ERA, yielding five runs (three earned) in 39 2/3 innings. Damn.
Nothing better for an East Coast fan to wake up at 0330 hours, check score, and discover victory. If you’re tired, it’s even better than carnal pleasures in the middle of the night. Awesome.
They need Vogs tonight to give them 6 plus innings, the BP is spent right now!
Odds of that less then 50% unless Nicole works her magic!

Ya know, like others, I was a Giants fan for decades without a championship. Not one. I slogged through multiple dark ages, because #1, I loved baseball, and #2, I loved my team and held out hope that someday, sometime, we could finally grab the brass ring. Now, 3 brass rings later, getting that brass ring is no longer the main thing about following this squad. The brass rings have freed me to go back to enjoying the ups, the downs, the ins, the outs, the old players and the new kids, making their own baseball stories. Like “Specs”. This kid had no shot this year without a injury train of epic length hitting the big squad. Yet, that happened. So, here he is, making a great story for the day that zum witnessed on behalf of us all. The Giants have been clobbered by injuries so far, and because of that they may not win it all this time, may not even make the playoffs. But, their run through this season remains enjoyable to witness and be a part of — because the game itself is still the thing, just like it ever was…
