  7. TedSpe said, on October 25, 2010 at 9:12 pm

Flav left off Vern and Vera’s kid in his poll.
    Probably for the best.
Their plane just arrived in Philidelphia

Wedenesday should be the day to just begin soaking it in. No preconceptions, leave your demons, your fears, your past behind… watch the men take the field as you did as a boy… these rich young men will feel as you did then and there will be a moment at least when the 10 year old Craig or Chuck or Evan or Xoot will be as one with Aubrey and Fruckie… children all.

I’ve still got the 327 tuna squeezers I got from Kramden’s boss at a great price…

    • TedSpe said, on October 25, 2010 at 9:26 pm

Now, when you say “great price”…are we talking Flea market? Or..Ed Woods’ budget?
      Let’s be clear

    • TedSpe said, on October 25, 2010 at 9:28 pm

      In other words…
      Glen? Or Glenda?

(oaky. now I got officially weird)

    • TedSpe said, on October 25, 2010 at 9:29 pm

      Well, at least it’s official

  10. zumarust said, on October 25, 2010 at 9:39 pm

Hey, the Giants team beat the Dallas team tonight! Good omen?

    • delmardennis said, on October 25, 2010 at 10:13 pm

It’ll be a better omen if Cliff Lee breaks his clavicle a la Tony Romo in the first inning Wednesday night.

  11. delmardennis said, on October 25, 2010 at 9:52 pm

Weird, what weird? I love angora sweaters. Especially the tight-fitting ones worn by busty 18-year-old coeds.

    • TedSpe said, on October 25, 2010 at 10:06 pm

Wearing and watching. Too entirely different things.
      And thank God for that

      • ewisco said, on October 25, 2010 at 10:09 pm

and then there’s removing. I’ll leave that as an exercise to the reader.

  12. TedSpe said, on October 25, 2010 at 10:08 pm

    And yes. I meant “too”

  13. ewisco said, on October 25, 2010 at 10:15 pm

busty 18 yr olds in sweaters AND giants baseball.

    now that’s just good blogging.

    • TedSpe said, on October 25, 2010 at 10:17 pm

      beyond

  14. ewisco said, on October 25, 2010 at 10:22 pm

btw. just caught what must be a replay of an earlier comcast sports bay area central whatever and brodie brazil is talking to matt cain and in the background? Barry Z throwing batting practice. Say what you will, but he’s shown that he’s not about the money, he’s about the team and winning. so to all of you caught up in the contract . . . f off.

    • TedSpe said, on October 25, 2010 at 10:29 pm

      That’s FUCK off.
And yes, he’s an overpaid fuckhead, overatted loser.
      But he’s a good teammate.
Zito’s a leach on the Giants’ payroll.
      But he’s a good guy

    • delmardennis said, on October 25, 2010 at 10:45 pm

Baggs was speculating (as Bochy was watching the BP session intently) that Z might be added to the roster as the long relief. I can’t see it. Much has been made about his fastidious and very meticulous pre-game warm up routine before a start. I hate to see how he pitches when “rushed” to come outta the pen.

But more importantly, he wasn’t on the first two playoff rosters. Putting him on now would be a goddamn jinx!

A question if I may about your most generous prize: What’s the difference between a “gamer” and a “regular” computer? I’m guessing that it doesn’t have anything to do with Aaron Rowand. But then again, I don’t know much about computers.

    • TedSpe said, on October 25, 2010 at 10:32 pm

Rowand’s a gamer. Vern and Vera’s boy is a regular.
Now, to explain to you about the difference between twin’s prizes:
      0000010000001001000000100100000000000000000000010010010
      Got that?

    • TedSpe said, on October 25, 2010 at 10:33 pm

      And for good luck.
Will Gomez be in the lineup?

  16. TedSpe said, on October 25, 2010 at 10:53 pm

May all my fellow Flappers score WS tickets this month.
    Goodnight, gentlemen (question mark)

  17. delmardennis said, on October 25, 2010 at 11:00 pm

I just read the Bizarro comic strip from today. Pretty damn funny as per usual. It made me think; I can’t recall ever hearing or see the word “blithering” without it being in conjunction with the word “idiot.”

I think they hit home with their target area regarding today’s subject matter.

  18. mrmrbill said, on October 25, 2010 at 11:35 pm

We get no respect … all the “media pundits” I’ve read so far, still have a “slight edge” to the Rangers. (at least it’s “slight” instead of the big underdog rating we had against the others) … Time to decisively do this in 4 … 5 tops. Send an unrefutable “blow me” to these baseball “journalists”.
