If Cashner pitched every Giant as well as he pitches Pablo, mixing speeds especially on the corner, things would look a lot worse right now. Maybe he’ll continue to wp everyone else. Meanwhile, Lincecum looks great for a while and then loses command completely for a while. Pablo’s D helps a bit.

Was just watching the highlights on the MLB channel, ch. 100 here. What a sad mess the performance by Dirty was. All the pitches were low, if off the plate, then plunk, in the head, or near it. What a disaster. As Leonard Cohen sang, “And wasn’t it a long way down, wasn’t it a long way down.”
