Seattle, and 5 refs, couldn’t beat AZ at home. One of the worst officiated games I’ve ever seen.

RW looks like CK. Funny what a shitty line does to a QB.

Hanging out with Denver fans this weekend. I think I talked them into trading for Kaep

Gotta admit watching Cardinals highlights very cool.
Seattle’s D gives up that many points, at home?
Son of butt fumble not exactly an endorsement of Wilson’s big contract. Guy is way overrated and helped out quite a lot by Lynch and D of last few years.

Only downside of Peyton finally retiring will be the further onslaught of commercials he’s in.

Hey anyone see story about Braves supposedly making Freeman available?
Flav, here’s your fantasy deal: how many prospects plus Belt to make this happen.

rumor appears pretty flimsy, from Ken Rosenthal with zero back story. From whatever “sources” he has, story was Braves were in salary dump mode and open to dealing Teheran and Markakis too.
Braves FO denied they were trading Freeman.
He is owed $118 mil over next 5 or 6 years after signing big deal.

They were reports Giants looking to sign Crawford to extension beyond arb years.

Contrast the Giants since 92 with this:

Laugh of the day– MLB teams don’t make money…

Interesting article, xoot. How ironic that the Braves, who were the only team on cable everyday for years, currently have a shitty TV deal.

Which is exactly why I have hated the Braves for 30 years. Skip Carey? Down there with fucking Joe Buck.

    Here’s some news:

NEW YORK – San Francisco Giants shortstop Travious Relaford has been suspended for the first 50 games of next season following a second positive test for a drug of abuse under baseball’s minor league drug program.

Relaford, 23, hit .237 with one homer and 36 RBIs this year for Augusta of the Class A South Atlantic League.

Sounds more like he needs to up his intake . . .

    • djloo27 said, on November 16, 2015 at 4:40 pm

Why are they calling him the SFG shortstop? I wonder if he’s related to Desi Relaford who was a Giant for a few weeks one winter:

      December 16, 2001:
Traded by the New York Mets with Tsuyoshi Shinjo to the San Francisco Giants for Shawn Estes.

      January 25, 2002:
Traded by the San Francisco Giants with cash to the Seattle Mariners for David Bell.

        Nice acquisition to get Bell.

They suspend minor leaguers for weed, but not guys on the 40. Effin union

Duffy finished second to Bryant in Rookie of the Year voting.

    • Carstie Clausen said, on November 16, 2015 at 5:43 pm

Talents like Bryant’s don’t come along every year. He was expected to do extremely well and panned out as promised. Duffy took everyone by surprise ~ including us at the Flap. In most years he would have been the ROY who came out of nowhere.

The “Oz” pulling the levers in Atlanta isn’t the guy mentioned in the article, but John C. Malone, CEO of Liberty Media . . . I’ve traded Sirius Radio (puts and calls options), another company he owns a majority share in and he siphons money from them for other business endeavors/purchases (Sirius has great cash flow, unlike the Braves organization). In any event, this is how Wikipedia describes him . . .

“Malone reportedly shuns the limelight and glamorous lifestyle and takes his family vacations alongside long time friend Gary Biskup, in a recreational vehicle.[16][17] However, in business dealings he has been dubbed “Darth Vader”, a nickname allegedly given to him by Al Gore when Malone was the head of TCI, where he demanded equity positions in cable programming services in return for carriage, and attempted to defeat the must-carry rules which protected broadcasters, a battle which the cable industry eventually lost in 1997 in the U.S. Supreme Court.[18][19] In 1994, Wired portrayed Malone on their cover as “Mad Max” from The Road Warrior, with an interview describing his battles with the FCC.[20]”

I absolutely agree with their summary description and it is no surprise to me that the Braves are selling off its players.

It’s kind of funny that Pederson ended up tied for 6th place for Rookie of the Year.

    • zumiee said, on November 16, 2015 at 10:22 pm

He had a big post-All Star Game Homerun Contest slump.
