Jena Sims is a Babe

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on June 19, 2017

Well, we covered a lot yesterday afternoon but I’ll go to blows over who’s hotter, the “Jena Sims” of today or the women who trolled around Arnie in the 50’s. Sorry, but it is not even arguable who exercised and ate better, women of today or women from back int he 50s/60s/70s. That alone ends that debate. And I don’t want to hear about the one-off Marilyn Monroe or freaking Linda Carter or whoever. Sorry. Women today are hotter than ever and it’s because they work out maniacally and don’t eat.

And now we head to Atlanta to watch Dickey dance balls around. Any team should pound this guy but I’m guessing we show up slow and sloppy and don’t get around to hitting until the game is over…….

That was the highlight of the final round for me.

Sorry, but she’s not in the same universe as Nicole Vogelsong…

  3. alleykat69 said, on June 19, 2017 at 7:01 am

    Buck is such an idiot!!!
That’s his all time top blunder imo👍

  4. Flavor said, on June 19, 2017 at 7:25 am

    2 thoughts:
    1) worst Sunday for a major I can remember. Buck is bad and there was zero drama. Koepka seemed like he couldn’t have cared less. He was more concerned with how those pipes looked in his tight ass shirt and how quickly he could get back to the hotel to bang Jena again than he was showing any kind of emotion about winning a major.
    2) If Melatonin has an elbow injury WHY do they keep pitching him? He obviously can’t make up for it with adjustments. It’s unreal stupid to keep running a half-injured closer out there…..

  5. blade3colorado said, on June 19, 2017 at 7:26 am

Nicole Vogelsong or Jena Sims? Depends . . . Why?

First do a Web image search for both. Peruse about 50-100 photos of each. Done?

If you want to get married, than Nicole Vogelsong is your women. Conversely, if you’re planning 3somes, 4somes, moresomes, or having Tiger Woods and the rest of your crew over for the weekend, than Jena is your gal. By the by, I can’t even remember that golfer’s name who won yesterday . . . Regardless, if he ends up marrying this ho, he’ll be taken to the cleaners within 3-5 years. 🙂

he’ll be done with her in a month. That guy goes through the ladies like bicep reps in the gym

Next idiot move: Rushing Bumgarner back into the rotation…

    • dirtnrocksnomo said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:58 am

Yup. Unbelievable really. Even if Bumgarner is ready in August what’s the point? Considering all the mileage on that arm, a season off will probably do him some good.

  8. alleykat69 said, on June 19, 2017 at 7:54 am

Giants are famous for running their injured guys out their and playing short handed, no surprise to me..

  9. dirtnrocksnomo said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:54 am

Hard to argue with the women today are hotter than ever take, however, thigh gap is a real issue in our age that needs to be addressed so I’d like to see some of them eat a bit more but no more than like a 2-3% increase.

Jena v Nicole? Hard to say on that one. I saw some of those Vogelsong family segments on the Giants mag or whatever that show was called and Nicole seems like a real ball buster. Then again, I’ll bet Jena is too. Just in a different (better) way.

  10. snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:18 am

Totally agree with the Bum thing.
What’s the point of even bringing him back this season?
Bring him back when/if there is no concern whatever the everything has healed. September, for a few tune up games, then quit?
I can’t see him pitching 8 or 9 frames in a meaningless game against the Pads in mid August or whatever…

  11. snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:19 am

As for Buck’s screw up re: the now famous and incomparably-more-hot-than-past-hot-women Jena whomever, I give Buck a pass. Ya think he’s the dude who researched that, or just read a piece of copy thrown in front of him by a 23 year old producer?…

  12. alleykat69 said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:24 am

Well his co analyst Brad Faxon knew right away so Buck should of known…

    • snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:26 am

Who knows Kat, maybe they don’t talk off the air? Somebody preps the main announcers with personal info on the golfers; Buck doesn’t do it himself and he’s not close enough to golf coverage to know any better, unlike the other network coverage dudes. Fox golf coverage was lame since the get go; I’ve seen it before and though I didn’t see a bit of it in this tourney, it sounds like it still is lame…

  13. snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:24 am

This morning on KNBR – its’ a well known secret around the Giants that Melancon is pitching hurt. OK, I haven’t seen that in print anywhere by the beat scribes, but that’s no surprise. Seems the only explanation of recent events that makes sense, tho’. Same thing as Bum. If he’s hurt, why is Melancon not staying on the DL with the team a month out of first place?…

  14. unca_chuck said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:27 am

Yeah, these guys are background noise these days. Every game is a new train wreck to watch. I sort of pay attention if I’m near a TV at game time.

What is hard to take is the fact that the team is a whopping 31 games under .500 since the all star break last year. Yeah, let’s keep going through the motions like we are still in contention. Jesus. They could play the Flap contingent and we would do just as well.

    • snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:31 am

      They’re just in a slump.
Gotta be patient, relax and not try too hard to hit 5 run home runs. Right…

      • unca_chuck said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:42 am

Heh heh. Exactly. In 3 or 4 months, we’ll be fine.

  15. Flavor said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:04 am

Melatonin missed a week earlier in the season with forearm tightness, right? Or was it shoulder tightness? Regardless, he’s hurt and probably has been all year. Damaged goods. Like when we pawned off Duffy to the Rays. I’m wondering why they didn’t complain about that….

  16. dirtnrocksnomo said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:08 am

Because they were so sick of Moore’s erratic performance that Duffy’s bum wheel was worth the risk.

  17. alleykat69 said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:17 am

Glass was hurt when the Giants made that deal as well as I recall..But wtf whatever happened to Tim Alderson anyway?

  18. Flavor said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:21 am

    priorities?

    • unca_chuck said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:27 am

He hit for the cycle. What am I looking at here?

      • Flavor said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:50 am

yes. The home run finished off the cycle for him. But instead of celebrating the walk off win the scoreboard was focused on the cycle. Pretty funny actually

  19. unca_chuck said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:23 am

Alderson might be out of baseball. Played for the Sugar Land Skeeters in some indie league last year with a whopping 2.13 whip. Ouch. Dreams die hard, but they do die.

  20. chipower9 said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:48 am

Flav was right. Melancon’s injury earlier this year was a forearm issue…

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2708791-giants-closer-mark-melancon-placed-on-10-day-dl-with-right-forearm-injury

  21. Flavor said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:52 am

the thing is, he has to be hurt. I was supportive of the signing because I figured we’d get 2 good years out of him and figger it out once he started to decline. But nothing explains this complete collapse right from the beginning except an injury or a mental issue and I don’t think its that. And I’m guessing the Giants probably half assed their way through his physical like they do with everything else related to checking and monitoring health

    • chipower9 said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:56 am

Agree…he has to be hurt, and probably was out of the gate (immediately after the signing).

  22. chipower9 said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:54 am

We got home mid-morning yesterday after seeing a concert at Ironstone in Murphys Saturday night. I mowed the lawn before the temps reached a million-six and then said WTF…I am going to settle my ass in and watch the Giants game. Craw puts us ahead, and of course they give up the lead. Pence to the rescue and puts the Giants back in the lead. So, I say to Gail “let’s see if the bullpen can hold this lead for one inning, as they have struggled to do so lately.” Sure as fuck, Melancon gives it up. Fuck, this team become more and more unwatchable each and every fucking day.

My daughter wants to take me to a game for my BD, but fuck, I am seriously beginning to look at other things we can do to celebrate. As trump would say “Sad…”

Wake me when this clusterfuck of a season is over.

I am still looking forward to the deadline to see what Booby and Crew do to try and right the ship…

And on the Bum comments. Shut him down for the year, or at a minimum, maybe a couple of short tune-ups later in the year, but I would even forgo those…

  23. theroooster said, on June 19, 2017 at 11:16 am

Have to agree with BF, as a whole, the women these days blow doors on women back in the ’60’s and 70’s. While some of this obviously has to do with diet, makeup, plastic surgery, etc, etc, even without all that, they still come out on top. It’s evolution. Good looking men attracted to hot assed babes and vice versa, producing ever hotter women. Natural selection at its finest.

    • theroooster said, on June 19, 2017 at 11:18 am

Same principal is applying to athletes and their accomplishments

  24. chipower9 said, on June 19, 2017 at 11:23 am

I missed the “who’s hotter” debate, but given my love for the old classics, I would have to lean towards the women of the 40s-60s. They were not only hot, but classy, too, IMO.

Names such as: Lauren Bacall, Audrey Hepburn, Jean Harlow, Rita Hayworth, Katherine Hepburn, Hedy Lamar, Grace Kelly, Ingrid Bergman, Lana Turner, Veronica Lake, Jayne Mansfield, Raquel Welch come to mind…

    • Flavor said, on June 19, 2017 at 11:49 am

classy sometimes not a plus in my book.

Grace Kelly was the definition of “CLASS” her whole life,Princess of Monaco 🇲🇨,leaving Hollywood where she was the toast of the town, to marry Prince Ranier of Monaco only to have a tragic Death ( at only 43)her car somersaulted over a cliff. Won best actress in Big Country, powerful performance, with Big Crosby&William Holden..Quite a actress in a short list of films but she had a presence you just can’t teach on screen..

All kidding aside, in all my years as a fan, since 1955, it’s hard to recall a Giants team that fell from grace so quickly and dramatically, that Bowkerized so stunningly.

    • djloo27 said, on June 19, 2017 at 5:20 pm

I added quickly but I believe the Giants regular season record since July 1, 2016 is 63-99. And they’ll be lucky to match the number over all of 2017.

Last year, MLB said the umps weren’t going to call outs on those ticky-tacky moments when the foot pops up off the bag on the slide. But the umps are still doing it. It’s not why replay was invented. It’s causing a lot more players to slide head-first and injure their hands.

Radio feed mentioned earlier that Markakis is coming up on 2000 hits. That kind of blows my mind. Seems like he was just a young player a couple of years ago. Nice little career he’s had.

  55. xoot said, on June 19, 2017 at 7:57 pm

I jumped over to the Astros v. a’s game in time to see Houston’s RF Springer make an excellent play in RF that much resembled Hunter Pence in his earlier days (with Houston, etc., and even with the Giants for a while).

Houston and Oakland represent the best and the worst in recent mlb ownership. Because they’re always dumping good players for young prospects the a’s have some real talent now, but they don’t have a team. They had no plan. Houston, however, had a plan when they started to rebuild from being the lowest payroll team. Finding Altuve in Venezuela and drafting Correa first out of Puerto Rico helped a lot. Very smart moves. But the Astros have done much more, consistently, in the past 5 years to build their team. For example, McCann catching, even at his age, solved one of the problems they faced. The Astros just keep working at it, and the result is very entertaining.

Maybe it’s better that the Giants’ fall from grace has been so precipitous. It’s more shocking that way, but in some ways is better than a long slow death march over several years. But they have quite the hole to dig themselves out of to reclaim the mantle of top-class organization.

    • sandog said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:18 pm

I agree with you. I have been of the opinion that management wasnt going to make any moves, but this is such a freefall they may have to now.

  63. PaulinAsia Banh Bao said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:14 pm

As for this discussion of previous generation women vs. current, I’m not the gym rat that many of you are, and I rather like my women not having abs of steel or arms of sinew. Not very cuddly in my opinion. Soft and curvy and eat whatever you want is for me. 🙂 One name from the past: Ann Margret. Meow…..

    • snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:17 pm

      I’ll second that Meow…

  64. snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:16 pm

Now, the attraction is just tuning in to see how bad they can be. How low can low go?
9-0 is pretty damn low, but no way you can say this is the bottom…

    • unca_chuck said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:28 pm

      Not when there’s 90 games left . . .

  65. snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:19 pm

Cueto showed well this time, so that’s good.
    Get that trade value up…

  66. PaulinAsia Banh Bao said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:24 pm

Yeah, Tom, I mentioned a couple days ago that I think *bottom* won’t come til the break (only another few weeks, really) and there’s no way this team does not make changes at the break. Um… of course, that’s what I said after the Melatonin signing: no way that’s going to be it for off-season moves, right? Right?……. Wrong….

    • snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:28 pm

Paul, I hope they’re waiting for some AAA guys to get a few more reps hitting in Sac, and then just gut this puppy in July of anybody and everybody that can be DFA’d, traded, put on the 60 day DL, whatever. This is really just an absolute embarrassment to the organization. In Japan, the manager probably resigns after a disaster game like this in the middle of a 6 game losing streak or whatever this is right now…

  67. zumiee said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:25 pm

If a team forfeits a game, the score is posted as a 9-0 loss.
The Giants tonight couldn’t even do better than not showing up at all.

  68. unca_chuck said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:27 pm

Turned on the game and it was 2-0 in the bottom of the 8th. I quickly turned it off. 5 mins later its 9-0. The TV curse still hit, but I didn’t have to see it!! 6-20 in the last 26 games? Ouch.

Grace Kelly was hot, but she really got around. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. Then vs now? Hot women everywhere all the time. Natalie Wood, Barbara Eden, Agent 99 . . .

    • snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:29 pm

      Wow, Chuck.
I forgot about Natalie Wood. Good call.
      Smokin’…

  69. Macdog said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:28 pm

I’ll take any babe from the 60s Bond flicks, starting with a smokin’ hot Ursala Andress emerging from the ocean in that bikini, over any chick from 2017.

    • snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:37 pm

I haven’t paid a lot of attention to the recent Bond flicks.
That first one, Casino Royale, that had Daniel Craig in it — the Bond girl was “Vesper Lynd”, played by Eva Green. I’d agree with BF on that one for the modern women. Eva was just stunningly friggin smokin’ hot in that flick, IMO. My favorite Bond girl, over the older ones. I actually liked Jill St. John a lot in Diamonds Are Forever. She was sleazy hot in that one. And, Sophie Marceau was very very hot in one of those Pierce Brosnan Bond flicks, as the villainess. I also thought she was unbelievably gorgeous in Braveheart as Longshanks’ daughter in law…

    • xoot said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:44 pm

I’d welcome any chick from 2017 right now.

  70. wilcojoe said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:53 pm

That incessant drum beat in the Oakland bleachers is beyond annoying.

  71. snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:54 pm

I would say send the entire team to the Bunny Ranch for an attitude adjustment, but they’re already playing for weeks like they have no energy…

  72. dirtnrocksnomo said, on June 19, 2017 at 8:56 pm

This Jenna vs a bunch of old ladies controversy is really illustrating the age divide at the Flap. Can’t one skank unite us?

    • snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:25 pm

Ok, if we had to do it to keep the Flap happy, I’m sure any Flapper would take one for the team and double with a 24 year old Jena Whoever and a 24 year old Grace Kelly…

      • alleykat69 said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:39 pm

I’m in on both counts Snarkk, but I have to go with class over skank more. So I’ll roll dice 🎲 with you and Chi still over Grace Kelly!!
Oh a young Jacqueline Bissett in her skin tight white t shirt getting back in the boat in the movie “The Deep” definitely had my attention!

      • snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:49 pm

Kat, great retro pull on Jackie Bisset in The Deep. All time winner of wet T shirt contest.
Add Raquel Welch in One Million Years BC in that Fur bikini.
        Can’t lose on that duo…

  73. zumiee said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:01 pm

The Dodgers will probably win tonight, but Kershaw has given up 3 HRs tonight, and has given up more HRs than his usual number at this point in a season. I don’t know if that means anything, but it’s kind of interesting.

For me, I can’t think of many things more attractive than a beautiful person whose beauty isn’t what actually attracts you.

That being said, some people think this way . . .

“From birth to age 18 a girl needs good parents. From 18 to 35 she needs good looks. From 35 to 55 she needs a good personality. From 55 on, she needs good cash.”

  75. xoot said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:01 pm

See this? I remember watching the Giants Latino players in front of the dugout, fooling around together before a game in mid-2012, chattering at each other in Spanish I couldn’t entirely follow, bouncing a ball from bat to bat, loose and ready to go.

  77. dirtnrocksnomo said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:17 pm

Good stuff, xoot. Even before the death spiral this club was lacking that fun element you mention. I really liked Uribe when he was with the club because he seemed to keep everyone loose and then there were the stories of dominoes being played in the clubhouse. I wonder if anyone in this bunch even knows how to play.

I stood about ten feet from Liz Phair at a show in Austin years ago. She was pretty damn hot.

    • zumiee said, on June 19, 2017 at 9:37 pm

Sure, if you’re into that sort of thing. 🙂

Great band. I saw them in concert a few times. She and Thurston eventually divorced, sadly.
Her recent book is very good.

Chrissie Hynde was the baddest of the bad. Saw the band before half of them ODed. Their 1st album is incredible,

    • zumiee said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:01 pm

Yeah, I’m a huge fan. I finally got to see her (with a revamped Pretenders) in concert in the mid-’90s. It was great.

  82. xoot said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:03 pm

this woman never really flaunted it back when she was young, but of all the honky rock chicks of the new generation she was possibly the best. Smart as a whip, very hot.

    • zumiee said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:05 pm

      Totally agree.

    • snarkk said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:11 pm

She’s in Saratoga on July 19 at Mountain Winery…

      • xoot said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:21 pm

these days, if I saw her even suggest one of those neo-hippie I’m-transported-I’m-flying dance moves, my reaction surely would launch two well-dressed Mountain Winery bouncers to my seat to drag me away

  83. zumiee said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:05 pm

Carrie Brownstein is really cool, with her band Sleater-Kinney, and TV show Portlandia. Her recent book is very good. She prefers women. 🙂

L.A.’s Turner is hitting .395 now. He’s been great since he “bulked up.”

  87. unca_chuck said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:18 pm

Just saw the Belt call. Ridiculous. His back foot and knee were on the bag. Fuck replay. If that’s how they use it, then it’s retarded. How can you completely miss that?

  88. PaulinAsia Banh Bao said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:43 pm

I just saw on the Giants’ MLB page that the “annual Giants slumber party” is July 9th. The team has certainly been practicing for it for weeks now….

  89. PaulinAsia Banh Bao said, on June 19, 2017 at 10:46 pm

I first noticed around a week ago that the dates of June were progressively in synch with the Giants’ record and standing in the division and made a joking reference to that: June 14th, 14 games under .500, 14 games out of the division. Now it’s June 20th, and…. 20 games under .500 and 20 games out. Didn’t really think that trend would continue. Eek….
