Wow….
….this game is going to test your attention span. Will you watch a game that starts early (5:10pm out here) between Matt (Always Less Never) Moore and Gelato ice cream? These two chump teams are 67.5 games out of first place. That HAS to be a record.
The White Sox have some hitter who could give Moore trouble (Abreu and Davidson are my picks to go yard). But this is a perfect game for Moore to step up in a completely no pressure situation, pitch well, and give us some fake hope going into next season.
Very happy for Alex Smith, a guy that always got way too much shit during his time in SF…….also fuck Tom Brady with Twin’s baseball bat (that still rests quietly and proudly in my office)…..
was asking Raider fan buddy yesterday afternoon if he was gonna be Brady fan or Chiefs fan, both of whom he hates. His hometown where he still has family is in Port Arthur/Beaumont part Texas. He warned them all to get the F outta there but nobody would. Also said something happens down there dang near every year and doesn’t miss it.
When he can’t find plate any hitter can mess up Moore. Couple meaningless no pressure good outings out of pen, so we’ll see. Imagine his option would be picked up but nothing guaranteed.
KC, man, they looked great but lost Berry for the year, and Tyreek Hill got hurt late as well.
Every silver lining has a touch of grey . . .
Young Sir Alex, in his 13th fucking year, looks as good as ever.
NE’s defense was taken to the woodshed and beaten like AP’s son.
Pats have enjoyed being in the worst NFL division for 15 years. It’s how they almost always end up with home field in playoffs. Bills, Miami,Jets? That’s a joke division again…
What interest me now about giants is this Slater kid. He seems like an answer of some sort in the OF. He needs to play the rest of the year. Parker and Mac look like non answers to me. At their ages, no surprises …
Even Parker has some power off the bench and can catch the ball. Mac is fucking lost out there. Better he than Gorky off the bench.
All those young outfielders suck.
Meanwhile the Dodgers just brought up Verdugo, the guy leading the PCL in OPS, and Buehler, a guy who pitches like the young Tim Lincecum. Really, you almost have to laugh about the Dodgers’ seemingly endless pipeline of young talent these days.
The Giants drafted Bickford instead of Buehler, and the Giants traded Bickford for Smith, who needed Tommy John surgery. The Dodgers drafted Buehler, who needed Tommy John surgery, and he’s back from the surgery and pitching well now. So, maybe a big part of drafting will always just be plain luck.
By the way, one year the Mariners drafted right ahead of the Giants and took Morrow instead of Lincecum, and Morrow is now a reliever for the Dodgers. Small world.
I’ve been catching up on the last couple days, and gotta say Flav’s intro yesterday was one of his best ever.
thanks.
Any tennis fans here? I spent all day/night at the US Open on Wednesday. It was cool to see a couple legends like Nadal and Federer up close, even though Federer got knocked out. It’s a fun event, and when the roof is closed like it was Wednesday due to rain, the place gets pretty loud. Lots of spirited back and forth between Federer’s many fans and del Potro’s Argentine fans.
The best part, though, was gaming the system. In short, with help from others, I was able to attend the night session Federer match, in which the cheapest ticket was going for at least $200, for free and ended up alternating between seats with the there-to-be-seen crowd three rows from the court and the nosebleeds with the rabble.
Very cool!
part of me wants to give this guy serious credit for this feat
Hey, there’s seven billion people on the planet; let’s see how fast we can get to twenty billion.
If only Norman Rockwell was alive to paint the family portrait…
Ahhh, Pence. Now Panda . . . Hey! There’s one way to beat the streak . . .
Coming from someone who has had two vasectomies, I get it.
thank God. Now Velez can turn off the tv and go do something with his life.
The drought is over!
Panda knows what to do with meatballs…
I guess it really is feast or famine with Pablo.
Cleveland just won their 16th game in a row. That’s pretty insane.
Another team that’s blown their load too early

dominant win.
I’d like the Giants to go get that Big Fat Albers guy just so we could lay heavy claim to fattest team in mlb
It isn’t enough being the whitest team in MLB?
Never go full honky.
Rockies win, Dodgers lose (again) — and Giants officially eliminated from playoff contention.
Darvish was roughed up again, which will spook DodgerLand.
Yep, couldn’t hold a 4-1 lead.
A Dodger fan posted this at the Dodger blog TrueBlueLA.
