It would be more fun to watch LA fall apart in the World Series but I guess this will do. Another long winter of pecking away at his feed is awaiting The Rooster. He knows it. He’s ready for it. It happens every single year…..

I would be sweating the Niners epic loss last night a little more but there is something else to focus on. Something else on the horizon. No, it’s not the mega millions jackpot.

Dub Nation. Rise up!!!!!!!!

There was another tweet in which Kike ripped the Dodger fans for lack of energy. Basically said they didn’t show up. Cue the Michael Jackson gif of him eating the popcorn, while reading the Dodger fans balsitic comments. Fucking great!

  2. wilcojoe said, on October 16, 2018 at 7:06 am

Honestly the Brewers shouldn’t have a punchers chance with that patchwork starting staff, but if they win this series it should go down as an epic upset.

    • Lurker John said, on October 16, 2018 at 8:23 am

That patchwork staff is pitching their asses off right now and it’s not like there’s no talent there. Chacin was dominant last night against a good hitting team in their park. This is all shades of the 2010 Giants, with guys stepping up all over the roster and getting the job done. When you’re hot you’re hot.

  3. Lurker John said, on October 16, 2018 at 7:22 am

Fucking awesome. Rooster, you fuck! GO BREWERS!

  4. willedav said, on October 16, 2018 at 7:28 am

You wonder how sustainable this is depending how much longer series goes, but pen dominated last night. Dodgers struck out 14 times including all 4 Knebel faced, 2 by only guys Hader faced on 8 pitches and the last 2 by Jeffress ti end it.
    And 0 bombs.

  5. wilcojoe said, on October 16, 2018 at 7:31 am

The way the ball comes out of Hader’s hand it looks like going 150mph. He is fun to watch, no doubt.

    • Lurker John said, on October 16, 2018 at 8:35 am

Yeah, he’s a stud. Counsel just has to watch overusing him. His motion is deceptive as hell and you can tell hitters have a tough time picking the ball up. Combine that with his filthy stuff and he’s near unhittable.

  6. Lurker John said, on October 16, 2018 at 8:21 am

What’s up with Machado trying to take out Arcia in the 4th inning last night at second base? I didn’t know he was a dirty player. What a roostershit play. And who didn’t love Grandal getting booed off the field in 9th? If the Giants can’t be there, watching the Dudgers flounder about is the next best thing.

    • unca_chuck said, on October 16, 2018 at 11:44 am

He did it twice. They were both wimpy and stupid as he used his arm to try and grab Arcia. Arcia didn’t get a throw off on the first one so nothing was called. Roostershit plays both of them.

  7. Lurker John said, on October 16, 2018 at 8:34 am

    From Bill Plaschke:

“You know what really stinks? Those fans — who set an attendance record this season and are among the most loyal and passionate in all of baseball — will now not get a chance to watch the Dodgers play their way into the World Series”

What planet is this guy living on? They show up by the third, leave in the 8th and the stadium wasn’t even full last night. I’ve no doubt they have a die-hard core, all teams do, but among the most loyal and passionate in all of baseball? Nah.

    • unca_chuck said, on October 16, 2018 at 11:32 am

Loyal and passionate? Dodger fans? 2/3 of them aren’t even watching the game.

      • djloo27 said, on October 16, 2018 at 3:56 pm

Chuck, I think in the phone era, that’s just about everywhere now…

      • unca_chuck said, on October 16, 2018 at 3:57 pm

Nothing is as bad as LA re: that phone shit. You see guys driving with their chins cuz they got 2 phones going at once.

I just got in and was just about to write that this is probably going to be the turning point in both series today. But Red Sox already scored two. Astros just don’t seem to be the same this year….

    • unca_chuck said, on October 16, 2018 at 4:01 pm

It’s 2-1 in the 5th inning. The series is tied.

      • gianthead said, on October 16, 2018 at 4:51 pm

The Astros still don’t seem to have the same presence as last year. Correa and Altuve both not 100% could be why but wasn’t Springer the one lights out last year?

  11. gianthead said, on October 16, 2018 at 2:33 pm

Fodger fans booing the Fodgers and the Fodgers blaming their fans is priceless…

  12. Flavor said, on October 16, 2018 at 3:10 pm

Beede’s dopey bride designed this ad for a baseball camp that Beede is doing….

  13. Flavor said, on October 16, 2018 at 3:10 pm

and then literally one minute later had to tweet this

    • xoot said, on October 16, 2018 at 3:41 pm

I had a fair amount of experience with baseball camps run by players who barely made it to the big leagues — couple of games, cup of coffee kind of players. A few were great, gifted teachers and coaches. They loved baseball and wanted to stay connected to it as closely as possible. One or two, however, were flat-out frauds. They needed money and didn’t know what else to do. I don’t have a good feeling about these Beede camps.

  14. djloo27 said, on October 16, 2018 at 3:55 pm

When people knock the attendance figures of a team it always sounds to me like the ones who actually showed up are getting the criticism. That’s backwards!

  15. djloo27 said, on October 16, 2018 at 3:59 pm

Why all the Roooster hatred? He just likes to break balls (as they used to say) for the brief periods when it looks hopeful for his team. He actually has a lot to offer if he wouldn’t run and hide when things go sour for his boys…

  16. unca_chuck said, on October 16, 2018 at 4:04 pm

Well, there you go. Taking the good with the bad is part and parcel with all this. I wouldn’t mind the crowing if he didn’t disappear for months when shit goes bad. So we can bust HIS little rooster balls.

    • djloo27 said, on October 16, 2018 at 4:41 pm

    • gianthead said, on October 16, 2018 at 4:53 pm

I think that is a typical So Cal fan…Giants fans exempted in the South Land. .

  17. Flavor said, on October 16, 2018 at 5:22 pm

Rooster is always welcome here, he does a good job of needling without going over the top. He probably knows that’s how he has to be or maybe that’s just how he is.

  18. snarkk said, on October 16, 2018 at 5:56 pm

I don’t mind the Capon droppings here every once in a while. He leaves a nugget of Doghair knowledge in enough of them to make things interesting, I learn a bit about the Bums, even though I may not have necessarily wanted to. And, he’s not always a homer, he’ll criticize them on occasion…

    • djloo27 said, on October 16, 2018 at 10:02 pm

“Capon droppings” is so subtlety brilliant and Twin-like…

  19. gianthead said, on October 16, 2018 at 5:58 pm

That idiot Osuna had Holt 1-2 and scrapes his foot with a pitch and then the implosion…still thinking they can take the next two…but not very confident…

  20. blade3colorado said, on October 16, 2018 at 5:59 pm

Manny Machado says, “I’m not the type of player that’s going to be “Johnny Hustle.” Umm, than fuck you and no, I don’t want you on my team. The one thing I will always appreciate about Hunter Pence is that he ran out ALL grounders at full speed.

    • snarkk said, on October 16, 2018 at 7:15 pm

I will give it up to Pence for always running out grounders. That is true.
God knows he hit a lot of ’em…

Kind of a fun video on Biggio.
He’s in the HOF, but Bonds isn’t.
How do we know Biggio never used PEDs?
    Well, we don’t…

Dbacks will install artificial turf at Chase Field for next season.
After 21 years, could not find the magic real grass that would stand up to the hot summers without problems.
So, no more natural grass for games in Phoenix…

  24. blade3colorado said, on October 16, 2018 at 7:07 pm

Rooster just vomited his ham sandwich . . . Oh wait! He said he likes cheese sandwiches.

  25. snarkk said, on October 16, 2018 at 7:23 pm

    Dubs getting their rings tonight.
It’s going to very tough to do a threepeat. I’m guessing it doesn’t happen.
Injuries, motivation after 3 in 4, mental toughness, etc. are questions.
Gotta enjoy this great run as long as it lasts…

    • Flavor said, on October 16, 2018 at 7:36 pm

Shit if it weren’t for that bullshit 1 gm playoff suspension for Draymond they’d be working on 5 in a row

      • snarkk said, on October 16, 2018 at 7:43 pm

Agreed. If LeBron had the same circumstances, no way he’s suspended for a game in the finals. I think he didn’t even get a fine or foul for tea bagging Draymond, which is clear taunting. It was out and out theft by the league…

      • Flavor said, on October 16, 2018 at 8:15 pm

        “tea bagging Draymond” lulz

  26. unca_chuck said, on October 16, 2018 at 7:58 pm

The thing that was so galling to me was the refs didn’t call anything at the time. LeBron went to the league after the game and whined. LeBron couldn’t beat them on the court so he went to the league office to tip the scales.

    Then Draymond got suspended.

With Cousins coming on board in Feb, this team will be unbeatable.

    • willedav said, on October 16, 2018 at 8:17 pm

Yes. He ain’t Zaza or clueless kid(s) without O game like rest of their bigs.

  27. Bozo said, on October 16, 2018 at 8:19 pm

Hey, is that Beatle Bob sitting behind home plate?

    • wilcojoe said, on October 16, 2018 at 8:35 pm

Ha! It does kind of look like him. I used to run into him all the time during SXSW in Austin. I am sure you did as well at Jazz Fest.

      • Bozo said, on October 16, 2018 at 8:52 pm

I’ve only seen him once and it was just in passing, was he dancing when you saw him in Austin? What a nutty dude.

  28. alleykat69 said, on October 16, 2018 at 8:40 pm

Brew crew keep coming at you, Dogpile doesn’t show that intensity to me.
Rooster 🐔 your not a bad guy,and I apologize for ripping you a new one, but your team just doesn’t have the magic to get it done.

A couple of batters took first pitches right down the middle from Jansen. I don’t get that.

    • djloo27 said, on October 16, 2018 at 9:54 pm

I think that psychologically a batter might think it doesn’t look good if his AB doesn’t last for awhile…

  32. Bozo said, on October 16, 2018 at 9:59 pm

Extras. Hope the Brewers can put them away here, I’m getting tired.

    • djloo27 said, on October 16, 2018 at 10:04 pm

Another dirty play by Machado. That’s two games in a row. What a dick.

  36. xoot said, on October 16, 2018 at 10:23 pm

Machado is still the same asshole who tried to throw his bat at the Oakland 3B some years back. (Donaldson at the time I think.)

    • djloo27 said, on October 16, 2018 at 10:27 pm

Once upon a time a baseball bat was under every driver’s seat in NYC…

Everyone still has them under the bed though, right?

      • djloo27 said, on October 16, 2018 at 10:44 pm

Actually, the tire iron was usually under the driver’s seat.
The baseball bat was in the trunk for good measure…

The Dodgers almost completely re-did their bullpen during the season. They refuse to tolerate crappy relievers.
