Do some research on John Bolton. You too may discover that he trumps Trump as a liar and absolutely aces him as a warmonger. Bolton is owned by the egregious Sheldon Adelson, who is all about getting America to attack Iran, a nation which has not committed an act against another country in over 200 years. Why is Adelson, the biggest financial contributor to the Republican party, so hard-assed towards Iran? Adelson is one of THOSE people who does not owe his primary allegiance to America, but to an alien entity.
Bolton, for those who do not have the time to do the research, has never met a war of aggression he does not love. He is also a creature of the WarDefense industry, an entity which President Eisenhower warned us about in his farewell address in January of 1960. And as having also been America’s General of the Armies, he should have known what he was talking about. Bolton’s book is all about making himself relevant once again and positioning himself to become Secretary of State or Minister of War in the next administration.

Bolton s the same jerk who wanted Bush to invade Iraq. He was a candidate for UN Ambassador until demos blocked it. Can’t remember if he was a recess appointment.

Bolton is a rotten and evil person, but the information in his book is not being disputed by anyone. Trump vaguely calls it lies, but Trump gives no specific examples of lies.
Bolton should have given the information in testimony during the impeachment, but at least the information is out now.
The information rings true to what many other former Trump administration members have said and/or written after leaving his administration.

No one is calling Bolton a saint. He’s a hawk of the highest order, and frankly I’m surprised we didn’t go to war with Iran.

I read so many newsletters daily that I think my brain is on overload and definitely comfortably numb. I think that is what the media and the administration wants people to be.
Trump has way more to lose than the Presidency. I would think there are plenty of attorneys chomping at the bit to get at his tax returns and business dealings for himself, the kids, and the Kushners. Kinda like kids in a candy store.
Yeah, getting re-elected would give Trump four more years of legal protection.
ah Baseball news: MLBTR says players will vote today. Apparently owners made concession that if there is a stoppage this season then they would waive expanded playoffs and universal DH for 2021. July 26 date set for season to open if agreement is reached.
Yeah, players don’t like the owners trying to get sneaky with the money by greatly shortening the regular season and expanding the playoffs.
I thought the players want the DH, though…
yes that’s what I’d read too, but not the playoffs, where owners make a killing players see little of. I think rosters are still going to be expanded up to 30, so that’s win for players too. An agreement by players on 60 games prevents MLB from imposing even shorter schedule.
So there IS hope after all.
If that is the price to pay, fuck this season.
