Hey Mama Look At Me!

I rarely see anything on Facebook that I like except new pics of old friends. Anyway, I saw this yesterday and told San Dawg he’s gotta see it but he doesn’t have a FB account anymore. So, here ya go.

fangraphs finished up projected position rankings by WAR with CF and RF. Giants 12th NL for CF, 14th for RF. Yaz gets regression numbers especially for power as they think his slugging goes from over .500 to .425 range and OB drops too as BA dips to .244. Davis they think is .700 OPS guy, Slater .730. That would be grim to say least.

As for Mr. Hamilton— projected slash line .229/.292/.312. They do note that he is record setter in that he averages 2 WAR a season despite meager hitting numbers (67RC+), something no one has done since 1947.

    • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 8:15 am

you can forget all those numbers when it comes to Hamilton. You will be in awe of what he can do in CF. And the doubles, triples and SB’s will give you a reason to watch this otherwise very boring team. Health and getting on base will always be an issue with him…..

      • willedav said, on July 17, 2020 at 8:27 am

sure, one of premier defensive CF in league. um, the low OB means he makes a LOT of outs, something Mr.Law didn’t care for. How many guys who hit like this can offensively challenged Giants afford to keep? Last year I think they were like 14th in NL for OB, runs a lot of other stuff.
Advance D stats love the guy for range and everything else. As a hitter…

      • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 8:32 am

just as I said about Pillar, you guys are going to have to watch him play every day to appreciate him. And again, with as boring as this team is set to be I know some fire on the base paths will be appreciated. I’m not confident in him staying healthy, but you never know.

That Highway to Hell video was AWESOME 👏
AC/DC still one of my favorite bands of alltime!

We will all see how Billy Hamilton can still perform out their the Darren Lewis replacement model.
Still for him is getting on base, cause you can’t still 1st base..

    • unca_chuck said, on July 17, 2020 at 8:40 am

That’s very cool. They never disappointed live. Like the Who, they were always on. Esp when Bon was still around. Never saw the Dennis Johnson version.

      • gianthead said, on July 17, 2020 at 12:12 pm

That Highway to Hell rendition was oddly entertaining..

  3. sandog said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:00 am

    That did not disappoint!
    Very cool–‘and well coordinated!

  4. Winder said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:04 am

    What fun. Rockers still rule.

  5. Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:24 am

Unca chuck you’re talking about BRIAN Johnson. I always thought he was such an incredible replacement for Scott.

  6. Macdog said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:26 am

I see Hamilton as nothing more than a late-inning replacement in CF if they have the lead and a late-inning/extra-inning pinch-runner if they’re down a run or tied.

    • djloo27 said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:37 am

      What’s the plan for Wilmet?

      • djloo27 said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:39 am

I decided not to correct the brilliant spelling error…

      • alleykat69 said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:44 am

2nd base, 1st base, maybe some SS as well for Willmet

      • xoot said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:49 am

Flores will get lots of play at 1B if Belt’s nagging heel injury persists or recurs. (We’ve learned so much in the past few years about how serious bonespurs of the feet can be.)

Paul Wilmet is a helluva story. Thanks.

  7. alleykat69 said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:42 am

Yeah MacDog I see that as well.
But how many replacement Centerfielders do they need out there?
Right now they have 5 who can play CF..Davis,Duggar,Dubon, Yaz& Hamilton that’s quite a logjam to find AB’s for..

  8. chipower9 said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:46 am

Not sure if this has been shared, but Kyle Harrison (LHP out of De La Salle HS) has signed (last draft pick from this year to sign). He came in over what is expected for a 3rd round pick ($700k) with a 2.5 mil signing bonus. This puts the Giants over on their bonus pool, so they will pay a tax.

They recapped his three years at De La Salle: 21-1 record with a 1.19 ERA AND 192 Ks in 124 innings.

    • snarkk said, on July 17, 2020 at 10:30 am

Sounds like a future Tommy John candidate…

  9. Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:52 am

I’m all over Wilmet. I think he’s going to show us surprising RH power that will play put like an unsolved mystery episode to some of our weaker hitters.

  10. chipower9 said, on July 17, 2020 at 10:21 am

OK, I’ll run with the Wilmet. I especially expect him to see more action against lefties, as that is where he has excelled.

    VS Righties: .304, .358, .404, .762
    VS Lefties: .337, .367, .615, .982

Difference mainly comes from HRs (2 vs RHP, 7 vs LHP). Also, less Ks and BB against lefties.

    • xoot said, on July 17, 2020 at 10:33 am

with Longo and Belt ailing he’ll be the middle of the order. Not great, but wtf. Play ball.

  11. dirtnrocksnomo said, on July 17, 2020 at 10:26 am

Best AC/DC cover out there as far as I am concerned.

    • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 11:47 am

      awesome.

      Now that’s a happy dog.

  12. Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 11:58 am

that ACDC song just makes me happy. These days I’m looking for more stuff like that. I watched all of Simon’s golden buzzer clips just because that made me happy. I’m headed to Black Butte next week to play golf for two weeks.
    Happy.

  13. Winder said, on July 17, 2020 at 12:00 pm

i still don’t see how either baseball or football is gonna get past this virus.

“Rams LT Andrew Whitworth tested positive for COVID-19.
Whitworth, 39 years old, calls the situation “scary” as not only did he test positive, but his entire family did as well. He contracted it after a family member visited a friend. He’s the latest example of how contagious the coronavirus is, and how big of a problem the NFL has to get this season in without many hiccups. Training camp starts next week.”

    • zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 12:06 pm

MLB is committed to finishing the season with all minor leaguers if they have to. Connor Joe might start a World Series game, and that’s not much of an exaggeration.

  14. Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 12:10 pm

lol, Puig’s dumbass failed his physical because he tested + for Covid

    • willedav said, on July 17, 2020 at 12:17 pm

whoa that’s unfortunate. hopefully he can iso and recover. He isn’t even going to sign?
College football looking dicier by the day, not good.

      • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 12:20 pm

they’re gonna play college football in the Spring. Book it.

  15. gianthead said, on July 17, 2020 at 12:15 pm

  16. willedav said, on July 17, 2020 at 12:23 pm

Puig is back to FA status. anyone signing him after he recovers (asymptomatic he says) and has 2 negative tests, still has to wonder since he hasn’t played in forever.

  17. djloo27 said, on July 17, 2020 at 1:41 pm

Well, a discounted Puig with antibodies will be a nice pick up for some contender whose lost an OF to the virus…

    • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 1:45 pm

Those anti bodies aren’t holding together like they were hoping they would. This could get even more fucked up than it already is.

In other good news Freddie Freeman is back, Nats get OK to play in their home yard, and MLB announced 6 positive tests (5 players 1 staff) in last round of 10,500 overall.

LOL, motherfucking Brenda from Texas beat me to claiming the 1st of the new 50 mats!

    Fuck,

Wow, my team just showed me our limited-edition PERSONALIZED Trump-Pence 2020 Welcome Mats and when I saw them, I immediately knew that YOU had to have one.

Unfortunately, we already sold out of the 500 Welcome Mats we had in stock. But I liked this item so much that I asked my team to rush order 50 NEW MATS for top supporters only.

BIG NEWS: YOU’VE BEEN SELECTED TO RECEIVE 1 OF THE 50

Brenda from Texas already claimed her Welcome Mat. The second mat is reserved for you ONLY, Fuck.

Hurry, I can only reserve your mat for the NEXT 3 HOURS.

  21. gianthead said, on July 17, 2020 at 5:06 pm

I guess we now verified Puig is a complete idiot and it cost me a lunch!!!

  22. gianthead said, on July 17, 2020 at 5:14 pm

And forgot to add that I have an old fraternity brother living outside Portland and verifies what Flav reported about the mayhem and destruction on a nightly basis. I think the vast majority even in places like Portland want and deserve safety and law and order and if they are not getting that from their local or state law enforcement, what are the options to avoid the anarchy but federal protection.

Eisenhower sent in federal troops to Little Rock to protect black kids going to school…do the people of Portland deserve equal protection?

    • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 5:17 pm

On this we agree. I want every single last motherfucking antifa wannabe arrested and expelled from that wonderful city. It’s been a breeding ground for that nonsense for too long now. Enough is enough.

      • gianthead said, on July 17, 2020 at 5:19 pm

I was in Portland at night briefly couple years ago on way to airport and was a scary downtown…dark and lot of undesirables…

It is a lesson that at least for these violent hooligans if they are not dealt with immediately and stamped out it is like a festering wound…far too much passive leadership in these places. The NY police are ready to explode with all the abuse they have taken…the whacked out woman hitting these officers on their heads and a lot of others like the one who stabbed the cop in the neck are super lucky those officers did not draw their weapons…

      • zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 5:31 pm

Unidentifed guys in camo driving unmarked cars and kidnapping protestors off the street is not the answer. That’s Gestapo stuff.

      • zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 5:34 pm

Trump’s secret police, only there for photo ops for right wing media.

      • unca_chuck said, on July 17, 2020 at 7:11 pm

Right, Zumie. Trump is sending unmarked feds in unmarked cars pulling people off the streets. nd not telling local law enforcement about it.

    • zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 5:31 pm

      So?

    • unca_chuck said, on July 17, 2020 at 7:12 pm

I know 5 people that have tested positive and one who has died. Guy was my age.

  24. xoot said, on July 17, 2020 at 5:52 pm

I have a question for the second amendment fans. If a guy dressed up in camo and a gas mask comes at me with a gun without identifying himself as any sort of law enforcement agent, can I justifiably blow him away with my AR-15 (if I have an AR-15, of course)?

    • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 5:59 pm

interesting question. *come up to you?* gotta be more specific.

      • xoot said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:02 pm

well by “comes at me” I meant to imply a threat. But specifically, yeah, say the guy is coming at me, charging at me, with the gun in a threatening way.

      • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:13 pm

I’m no lawyer so you’d be better off answering this but I’d think he’d win that court battle. By winning I mean he’d get off. He’d need a good lawyer, right?

  25. zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 5:52 pm

      • zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:06 pm

        Better since he didn’t die.

  26. Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 5:56 pm

Zumiee I agree with you on the Gestapo stuff but this has been going on for 6 weeks, every night, as I started saying 6 weeks ago. This guy with the hammer? This is all these fucks up there. Fuck them, this is not protesting.

  27. Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:12 pm

The problem with Portland, and it’s one of the reasons I chose to go to Lewis and Clark, is that it invites the idea of protesting into the status quo and the fabric of the community. There’s nothing wrong with that in principal and in fact I think it’s something that should be the moral backbone of any forward thinking community. I can confirm we drove General Westmoreland literally off our campus when he came to try to speak back in 1990 (it may have been 1991 I can’t recall for certain). Portland is all about grass roots shit.
But there is a disgusting underbelly to that grass roots dream that is clouded by fake Antifa wannabe pussies. These people have turned their worthless lives into careers of disruption that are based in nothing other than disruption. There goal isn’t to make society better it is to destroy society. I hate these people.
And don’t spend a second telling me Antifa is this small community that doesn’t impact a city. I read that shit here 6 weeks ago and my blood boiled. You don’t know what the fuck you are talking about.
Portland is being destroyed right now and the breakdowns in how law enforcement has handled it are many and obvious. The current approach is scary but I do see where it’s coming from. Law abiding citizens up there are SICK of this nightly shit. If I hear one more piece of shit tell me “you don’t send in the military to deal with graffiti!!!” I’m going to puke. This isn’t about graffiti, bitches.

    • zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:17 pm

But that is the official Federal reason given for the Gestapo units, stopping graffiti on Federal buildings.

      • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:29 pm

here’s an idea, stop fucking commenting on something you are woefully ignorant about…..

      • zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:31 pm

What did I say that was factually incorrect?

      • zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:36 pm

        The governor wants them out:
“In a tweet of her own, Gov. Kate Brown (D) said, “I told Acting Secretary Wolf that the federal government should remove all federal officers from our streets. His response showed me he is on a mission to provoke confrontation for political purposes. He is putting both Oregonians and local law enforcement officers in harm’s way.”

      • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:36 pm

it ignores why this has happened. It hides behind some silly tweeted reason for why they went in there. Fuck their fake excuse for why they went in there. Portland PD has failed for over a month to deal with this and I am tired of the extreme left pretending this was some normal protest. It wasn’t and it isn’t.

      • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:39 pm

basically Zumiee it is my opinion that you shouldn’t focus on the graffiti excuse and accept that there is some real problems going on in Portland that are caused by Antifa wannabe pussies who have been completely mishandled by a city police department that doesn’t know what the fuck they are doing.

      • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:44 pm

Kate Brown’s public statement is unacceptable. She has had a chance to deal with this and completely failed. You, and everyone else that doesn’t believe in Antifa nonsense, in Antifa disruption, just have your head in the sand. It’s pathetic. If these hoodlums were destroying your city night after night you wouldn’t be sitting in your ivory tower spouting out this shit. I guarantee it. But you’re safe at home, your city is fine, so you take the lemming route and just regurgitate left wing talking points.
Listen up, I AM LEFT WING. I’m just not an idiot, I think for myself and I look at every situation independent of the others. I THINK about everything that has led to it, every side that may have an opinion. I’m so sick of super left and super right people I could literally puke. Both groups are responsible for the destruction of this country.

      • zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:48 pm

Well, do you support the Gestapo squads or not? It’s not clear to me at this point.

      • zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:51 pm

I don’t support the Antifa idiots in any way, by the way.

      • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:52 pm

it should be clear if you’ve read everything I’ve written. I don’t support it. It needs to be handled differently. I would prefer the National Guard come in with clear identification including badge numbers of some kind and body cameras. But I understand why this is happening. And in this case, if it squashes this shit, I do accept it in lieu of doing nothing which is what the pathetic Portland PD has done. But I don’t support it as an ongoing plan. We have been watching the progressive demise of a once great city and it it being destroyed because the local police department doesn’t know what the fuck they’re doing.

      • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:53 pm

good to hear, I wasn’t sure of that reading your comments.

      • zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:58 pm

Yikes, I should have made that clear. Those idiots caused trouble at peaceful protests by black people in the past several weeks.
There were some right wing groups causing trouble at the protests, too.

      • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 7:05 pm

I’m sorry if I came across so negatively but I am sick of this shit. That city means something to me. And all I read on twitter today is how terrible it was that these poor protesters were stuffed into vans. Fuck them. But how they finally got arrested, yeah I’d like that to be done in a different way.

      • unca_chuck said, on July 17, 2020 at 7:15 pm

I swear 80% of ‘Antifa’ are right wing plants.

Bobby Murcer was maybe my first favorite baseball player. He didn’t do much for the Giants but that was right around when I was getting into the game. I definitely followed his career in the box scores after he left and was legit devastated when he died. This game, man I wish i could have been there for this game.

    • djloo27 said, on July 17, 2020 at 6:44 pm

I wasn’t there, but I remember it well. I loved Murcer, too.
He had a huge problem with Gaylord Perry (in the AL) and was very vocal about him loading up the ball.
Perry really got in his head. He was miserable when the Yanks had to play at Shea while they remodeled old Yankee Stadium which earned him the nickname “The Black Cloud” and probably led to him being dealt (to a worse stadium).

This past winter I bought a 1975 Murcer SF road jersey #20. (San Dawg’s seen it)
Murcer and Roy White (another huge favorite of mine) made their ML debuts on consecutive days.
Bum and Posey were 2 days apart…

what was it like in NY after Munson died? How did it compare to 9/11. I’m serious, I understand 9/11 was a much bigger deal but I want to know how the community was affected, how they acted, was everyone in mourning? For how long?

      • djloo27 said, on July 17, 2020 at 7:00 pm

Such a different world, Flavor – hard to characterize. Obviously it dominated the papers and local news for days. New York was a complete Yankee town then, coming off 2 championships and the post-Seaver Mets in the deepest of sewers…

I also really see no point in your post, other than you’re lucky.
    1. One of my staff that works in Phoenix, I OK’d a week of bereavement leave for him in June. His elderly father got Covid in late May in Iowa. He was just fine for his age, before he got it. He was dead in about 10 days after coming down with it.
    2. My neighbor of 20 years across the street, Mike. He just told me yesterday about his older first cousin in San Mateo — 65, a general contractor in good health with no preconditions, out on job sites since they opened back up to construction work. Three Sundays ago Mike talked on phone with his cousin after he had just come inside his house from washing his car. All good, they shot the shit for a while to catch up. Cousin came down with something the next few days, into hospital late that week, dead last Sunday. Mike is pretty shook up. Within 3 weeks from healthy, no problem — to laid out on a slab. Covid.
Covid is real, it’s all over the place, in case you’re still wondering…

    • unca_chuck said, on July 17, 2020 at 7:24 pm

EVERYBODY did that. The Rashneeshis, the Moonies, the Hari Krishnas, Assembly of God, etc. My favorite scene in Airplane is Robert Stack kicking the asses of 30 religious beggars walking through the airport.

Like I said, GH, 5 people I know have gotten it, one died. It is real. Not a plandemic. Is that what you are implying?

    • Carstie Clausen said, on July 17, 2020 at 8:34 pm

What’s to say it isn’t real AND a plandemic? Talking labs here and not the canine kind. Ever read about the germ warfare specialists from the Japanese military who were conducting all kindsa nasty experiments on Chinese when they occupied half the country between ’37 and ’45? Guess which country took a bunch of them in? Hint: Under Operation Paperclip they also brought in a mess of rocket-scientists along with considerably more unsavory types from the ruins of the 3rd Reich.

I’m even beginning to suspect there were elements of truth on the part of the North Koreans and Chinese who accused that Welcome Wagon bunch of germ-Warfare during the Korean “Peace Action.”

All it takes are a few paid agitators to fire up a select few and the chaos begins. They did it in the 60’s and they are doing it now. It takes away all the meaningful reasons that people were protesting about in the first place. I am surprised that they haven’t been infiltrated and rooted out by now.

    • Carstie Clausen said, on July 17, 2020 at 8:48 pm

Winder: There’s an agenda in play. …creation of chaos to disrupt and disorder the American people…also to create a climate where WE THE PEOPLE are more apt to get at each other’s throats. “Divide and Conquer/ Divide and Rule.” Ancient formula first large-scaled by Julius Caesar where he moved his legions into Gaul and tore the place apart–massive genocide. The survivors were happy to still be alive and quite willing to keep their heads down.

Antifa is more a loose-knit organization than a spontaneous movement. Seems they’re getting funding from somewhere…big donor types who want excuses to keep this country on PERMANENT lockdown.

What I don’t like about the DNC is their willingness to go along with this shit because they’re massively pissed because the Wicked Witch of the West lost out in ’16 and the Trumpeter is so easy to hate. He’s an ambulatory caricature of himself. Mayor of Portland and Governor of Washington have gone ballistic on the “Hate Trump” mode. They are so far into it that they can no longer see the forest for the trees.

Pitiful situation for the vast majority of Oregonians. Meanwhile, the Fed$ are just aching to impose Martial Law. Trump could even call off the election if that comes into force. Oregon pols must grow some tits and balls and call out the National Guard. If they do not, then we will know the dice are loaded, the cards are stacked and the game is fixed.

My Danish-born, Norwegian ancestored great grandmother was a Munson. I’ve despised the Yankme’s so long that I never could get around to appreciating Thurman. Why couldn’t he have played for some team and not a machine. Oh well, still gotta respect his humanity and what he brought to the game.

Trump is a full fledged idiot but I’m surprised that even his dumbass is green lighting this “Biden wants to defund and abolish the police” nonsense. What percentage of the pop believes that? Like 10%? That isn’t going to do anything for him, those people were already too stupid and too in love, they were always going to vote for him. I really don’t get why he would prioritize this as a campaign trail

    Fuck,

What I’m about to tell you is important.

The Democrats have made it clear that they want to defund and abolish our police. Never in history has law enforcement been treated so badly as they are in radical, liberal-run cities.

My team just launched a new ad that exposes the TRUTH about what America would look like if there were no police. The American People deserve to know what they’d be getting into if they elected a big government SOCIALIST like Joe Biden.

In that Charlotte fracas a few years back, the governor of Va. and the mayor of the city arranged for the police and state poopers to stand down while Antifa moved in with their clubs and helmets, creating chaos in the streets. Don’t tell me those bully-boys don’t get skids greased for them.

Not that the people putting on the rally represented all that’s sacred. But Antifa moved in on them in order to cause trouble. Anyone capable of getting their head out of mass-mindfuck corporate media can do their own depth research on that set of events. Nobody should take my word for it any more than they should heed the Chew Pork $limes and their coordinated agenda along with the DNC and certain unnamed agencies of the friggen Fed$.

We’re not talking Gens X, Y, and Z here, but the D-Generation. Bored, spoiled yuppie-puppy burble-brats who never learned to think for themselves before going off to some college or university where all too many professors professed ideological agendas rather than serving to help open up young, impressionable minds. Hell, we even had a smattering of that type of prof at the U. of Minnesota back in the Sixties. Shituation has metastasized over the past 50-odd years,

  46. zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:21 pm

Speaking politically, Trump’s hope for re-election is to fully embrace fighting the virus, and be a leader. But instead he runs and hides from that. The American people see the crappy “leadership” from him on this. He’s trying to pretend and wish the virus away. His performance is pathetic.

    • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:25 pm

      • zumiee said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:41 pm

Well, one of the two will be the next president. In 2016, a lot of voters opted out, and that helped Trump more than Hillary.

      • Flavor said, on July 17, 2020 at 9:46 pm

Biden is not senile. It’s idiotic to buy into those quick video clips Trump puts out of him flubbing words or thoughts. It’s legitimate to wonder if he may die during his presidency but it’s just nonsense to suggest he’s senile.

I had to watch right? I figured forgiveness better than permission. 18 years old. Stayed till the end. To see it on national tv when it was game of the week on July4th was terrific. and Carstie I would suggest this if you are seriously thinking Biden is senile: Go back and read some of the things written about you that are publicly accessed. Many questioned your sanity. I’ve always been a supporter of yours and still am. But to call another man *certifiably senile* who clearly is not is something you should at least consider based on your own internet accessed experience.

    • Carstie Clausen said, on July 18, 2020 at 7:58 am

Flav: I sent a copy of my sentencing statement to Xoot. I’m sure he would share it with you on request. Sanity, like senility can be quite nuanced and is highly relative, hinging on the relative objectivity of those who use those terms.

Though Biden generally presents himself pleasingly and certainly is more “digestible” for Normie and Norma, living in their serene suburbs, the man is slipping. He’s a faceman, pure and simple. It’s doubtful whether he has ever possessed a single original thought. Of course one may certainly say the same for Trump. Another facet shared by the both of them (and true of most prostiticians) greed and self-aggrandizement is a given.

Though not a socialist–I’m closer to Scandinavian social democracy–having experienced it first-hand in both Christiania, the anarcho-hippie enclave in Copenhagen and in Oslo, at the home of a relative, Dr. Aud Blegen Svindland, the head of the women’s branch of the Norwegian Labor Party, as well as chief of industrial medicine for that Nordic land–so though not a socialist, I might could have voted for Bernie. Most of my friends were ardent supporters of Sanders. However, the mass of billionaire funders of the DNC threw all their support to Biden. What does that tell you?

The original fascist, Benito Mussolini, defined fascism as the amalgamation of finance-capital corporations with state power. Can we honestly say that the National Committees of both parties are not, by definition, fascists?

Susan Rice? Please do some deep research on her. She was never elected to nothing, so far as I know. That makes her an administrative bureaucrat.

We are talking about the presumable future president as I am not sure that Biden will hang on another four+ years. You wanna talk about presidential material, consider Tulsi Gabbard, a proven anti-imperialist. Of course, the WarDefense Industry and Security$tate types absolutely despise her and so does the DNC. Wonder why? It’s all about the $$$$$.

whomever is handpicked for Biden will have to be an asset in winning big vote “swing” states in Midwest (among others) that went narrowly Trump’s way 2016. Biden will win Cal handily anyway so Harris doesn’t do much in that respect. She might get important cabinet post. what stix said though is food for thought, in that anyone Biden’s age might not last out his presidency.
