the Carlin bit was funny. He was funny. But he’s woefully ignorant on the sport. And I understand why, I’m fine with it. I still like him. But golf is awesome.

and Loo here’s another thing you should ask yourself: even if you hate golf, don’t understand it, whatever. Two flappers who you adore love it. Why would that be? Is San Dawg insane? Is Big Flavor deranged? There’s always a reason for something my man, even if you don’t understand it sometimes you just gotta accept it. How many people do you know who don’t get horse racing? Think about it…..

Not sure if i fit in to the group of flappers adored by Dloo but golf is my thing too. Not obcessed, but play once every 6 weeks or so. Great memories with my dad and my brother. gets me relaxing and waling on some beutiful terrain! lets me be compeitive for a few moments, like back my athletic youth!

I played golf a few times, but it didn’t catch on with me.
My main exercise these days is a stationary bike. I read and cycle at the same time.

  Works for me. The only time I really played a lot was when Christina was on the high school golf team. I almost got serious about it, but after that I haven’t played much. Christina laughs at my swing but it works pretty well. Driving anyway. I can drive and putt, hitting on fairways is iffy, and chipping from 100 yards in is atrocious, but again, I dont play enough to really get serious about it.

i vaguely remember when I had the blogspot blog before I transferred it to here. I was always regretful that I didn’t save that blog anywhere there was a lot of gold there. I am tired of a lot of things and I know the world is influencing it and it has nothing to do with this place. But I really want to just shut it down, save it for people to go look at whenever they want, archive it. I emailed wordpress to ask them, they haven’t gotten back to me. I’d never just delete the blog I’d kill myself before I did that.
But it might be time to move on. You guys have no idea how much this Portland shit has affected me, I think you think it’s a joke. I need to lessen the number of social media spots I have, I feel like twitter would just be the best spot for me going forward. Just one central spot.
I’m never gonna just bounce without telling you guys what’s up but this is where I am right now.

Golf is one of few sports I just can’t watch. guy I knew at gym 15 years ago told me once it was game of inches, then put a finger on each side of his head, took them off and said “from here to here.”

Before you shut it down, maybe we could re-enact the Stable Boys and rotate the writing of the daily thread. Just a thought. I would miss this place (all you Flappers) more than I can begin to describe. I know that all things must eventually end, but it bums my ass out to think of a world with no Flap.
