If we do not see significant improvements during the home-stand, you will be facing a major uprising from a group of the most serious, dedicated and loyal of all Giants fans. I played firstbase for a Friday night softball team. That has to say something.
He’s a middling infielder on his best day. More often than not he’s below average. I think that was his first time playing 1st for us, He brain farted. Why wasn’t Belt in as the defensive replacement? Oh yeah, they saved him for al all-important K in the 10th. Fucking stupid.
Yeah but a closer likes to come in with hence a close game.Most closers lose concentration with that kind of lead. Did he really need the work up 5 runs? Could of used a guy like Selman who has pitched real well to close this one out.
These players have been playing baseball professionally their whole adult lives. They should have mental awareness and focus. If not, then they’ll continue to journey around the league. The Giants are giving them their chance to stick somewhere. That’s on the players to perform.
