Two hits, nada walks and one unearned run through eight full. Wondering if Anderson simply needed to get free of that pitchers’ graveyard–the Box of Rox. ERA now at 3.56. None too shabby. He keeps this up and the Giants got them another solid rotation piece.

Milestones: This was Tyler Anderson’s first CG. Congrats, kid. New M.L. leader in runs scored. YazMaTaz. Even with good hitters around him, that guy is starting to get under the skin of a lot of pitchers, to the point that when he’s not getting base-knocks, he’s beating them with walks.

Good to see my boy GraveDugger in CF where he belongs. If he could just hit a little bit and stay healthy, I think he could help us. Kind of a Rick Miller type guy if you remember him from the AL.

On a graphic that flashed by quickly during the game, Glen Redmon was mentioned as the other Giant besides Bart whose first 3 hits were doubles, back in 74. I looked at the 74 roster and his was the only name I did not remember. I’m not sure how he snuck in there.

  No recollection of Redmon either. I see he was a September call up. Just to be clear he did not exactly match Bart and Bowker by getting the 3 XBH in each of his first 3 games. He got 2 doubles in his first game and one double in his 3rd game. Thanks for making all this work for me, James. BTW, auto correct says his proper last name is Teflon. I think from now on, I’m just gonna leave their corrections alone.

Blanco had some useful times for all the grief he got. Sando apparently was guy who got him into
the Shark thing.
giants win 5th in row Pirates won so did angels (over A’s) and Mariners, all current bottom feeders
top teams Dodgers Braves Twins and Rays division leaders also won. LA beat Rox on walk off bomb from Bellinger. Bellinger’s OPS is exact same as Arenado–.714. Arenado is still under Mendoza line—despite what he does vs. SF. So is Muncy what a weird season this is turning out to be.
