Team Win
Lots of contributors last night—I heard on the radio today we don’t have the tie breaker so we need to take down the 8th spot like men, outright. Tie breakers are for pussies anyway.

Not digging Duggar.
I like that we have offense, but kat Dubn is a BAD CF.
Looking good Duggar! Your fake bunt was inspiring.
And it’s 1-2-3 strikes your out at the old ballgame..
When you are looking way up at Mendoza, maybe it ain’t your year, Dig Dug.
Nice play!
Wow. Nice play by Solano. Hansen was a little short on the slide! Ahhh oh well.
Belt’s gonna be your Willie Mac winner…
Maybe. I say Yaz….
You say Yaz,
I say no.
You say why,
I say I don’t know…
Could even be Dick Dick Dick . . .
You might’ve just changed my mind.
The new baby and the COVID thing will help…
Bart motors for a big boy….
Grave-ducker!
I like that play on words….😂
Oh fuck….the Grave Duggar…
Grave ribbie!
He belongs!
. . .on a short leash . . .
Yep. In Sactown….😂
Dick ‘em…Dick ‘em good…
That Giant bullpen has some acoustics…
Even a squirrel 🐿 gets a nut 🥜 once in awhile. Kid is making his major league debut so Duggar had maybe a slight advantage.
The Dick is positively tumescent.
I’d say it’s a Mac Dick year.
Duggar digging that grave….
Just Win Baby!
Can’t believe the Giants are tempting to activate Shark for a possible start Friday when they have a doubleheader. He hasn’t pitched since Aug 7th and he’s stunk all year. Now is not the time to do this fighting for that last spot.
Hoping its possible and not probable.
Big W!
5 games left and we are in 8th. Yes!! brewers have 5 left with St Louis. Go red Birds!
Somehow Gabe’s experiment worked. Baragar was okay in the role facing the top of the Rox–one hit and 8 strikes over 12 P. Might have had a lot to do with Webb’s psychology. No tentative tonight and his command was decent as his 84 pitches included 54 in the zone and only one BB given up…and THAT was the only one surrendered by the staff. What a change from the first few weeks. Also staff only struck out 3, but hey, most of their offerings were tapped out. Webb also got in quite a few innings. Maybe this was just what he needed to get his game in order–a designated starter to get through the tough end of the lineup.
Kapler also seems to be slotting in his bullpen quite nicely. Always a bit touch and go with Rogers, but with only one hit given up when Webb seemed to sag a bit in the 7th worked out. His command and control was on tonight with 8 in the zone out of 10 thrown. They gotta try hanging on to Watson. What a treasure…cutting his already minuscule ERA down two 0.53. Eighth in the bank with 9 of his dozen pitches in the zone. Selman as closer, quick and efficient. Eight for ten. Nice.
What’s to say about the offense? Their starter seemed to put them to sleep initially and then Longoballo came outta his slump and got the train rolling. Belt had a perfect night–on base every time. Slater suffered a bad night, but as long as we win…Bart got his SECOND triple–a tad unusual for a catcher and his peg was spot-on. And Scooby Doobie Dubon? Yes. His energy and attitude has the kinda spark that can pull an offense outta the doldrums. It sure did tonight. Leaving runners in scoring position is still a problem, though.
Basically, a good time was had by all and if the wave continues tomorrow the Giants would go three for 4 in the series as had been my hopeful projection. They do it and the team is two up for the season.
Nice wrap, Stix!
Bedanken…As they say in the Netherlands.
