I know most of you guys don’t care about horse racing, golf or probably cats. But it’s the off season and this is the stuff I like. Here’s a pic of my big diabetic boy tonight:

Knicks fans should be happy with Alec Burks. Given ball and some minutes with Warriors, he was very efficient scorer who could create off dribble for mid range J and knock down a 3. One of very few bright spots 2019-20; was disappointed when they traded him to save salary cap $$.

Hard to believe Dodgers would take on $200 mil still owed to Arenado. They can keep Turner around for year or two and he can still hit. They have the younger guy Rios to cover 3b, plus they have to work out deal with Seager who is FA after 2021, and pay for however much of Price the Sox aren’t covering.
When do the Dodgers ever worry about money issues anyway?Dont they still have that 2 trillion dollar cable deal?

Nice picture of your cat. Great coloring and markings, very regal. I also think animals are better than people. All our dogs got old and had to be put down and I just don’t have the wherewithal to go through that again. I was raised with dogs and love them dearly. But for me at this stage of life it would be like raising an infant again. i will stick to my cats whom I love just as much.
yeah, we have another cat, Carson’s brother Reno. But I’m just not really connected to him. I want to say I’m done with animals after Carson passes. I just get too attached to them
My brother, a miser-hermit, though not without many commonsense views, lost the family cat some years back and was so emotionally wrecked over that, he resolutely refuses to get another.
Having lost my cat family due to that federal air-raid intrusion when cannabis interdiction should have (by constitutional law) been totally the province of the county sheriff; I got pretty bereft. Now, at the sister’s house, Luttie has totally adopted me and loves to cuddle at the foot of my noon-facing bed. Epigenetically infused through his ancestral connection with me, he really caught on a couple weeks back when he gave my then just unpackaged Redwing boots, the sniff test: Deep familiarity. Instant cognition. Cats are tuned into sensing systems that we humans gave up when we got “civilized”. Cats know.
We have a small dog. Terrier chihuahua mix. Best dog ever. He is 12 and already grey. Has a heart murmur. Royal canine good stuff for him too. I’d post a pic if i knew how:) I’ve tried to before and can’t figure it out!
Hey we also have a chihuahua terrier mix. Super attached to my 14 year old daughter, they’re joined at the hip. She was a rescue dog. She’s sweet, but I’m not super enamored with little dogs. We’ve had her for 3 years now, and I’m just finally starting to warm up to her. We’ll have to look into the royal canine, but this dog is super picky.
Loo I wouldn’t have gotten it; guy I guessed drafted by Phoenix couple years later. I did see those guys play though, cool team– Stanford guard Art Harris, very cool player had receding hairline and looked lot older that he was.
Mr. Harris is still alive too.

Pitching: With Zaidi’s statement, it now looks like the Giants may not go as high as Bauer—who is sweet-talking Cohen’s new plaything Mutts–but for maybe the 2nd or 3rd most highly rated starter to get the nod between Gausman and Cueto. Still pumped on acquisition of a premiere reliever and a solid 6th to 8th inning setup guy.

Being familiar with Colorado Springs, I guarantee a ton of those idling in line for half a day in Colorado Springs are mask refuseniks. I went to a Costco this morning and saw that Totally Unnecessary Hoarding has returned. I saw how big the line was outside the store and went somewhere else.
We stopped going to Costco years ago. The incentive is too strong to buy too much crap, some of which you may not even use in a year, or ever. Except huge jars of olives, and giant bags of chips, which I gladly devoured very quickly — and that had to stop.
Much more into Trader Joe’s, though I haven’t been in one since March due to Covid…

“Animals are better than people”… Funny, last night was streaming a few episodes of Money Heist (now starting S4); there was a discussion among the heisters of trusting or not trusting, and one character flat out said he didn’t trust people, any people, he only trusted animals, because they’re always there for you. Yeah… I grew up a dog person, but I’ve known some pretty cool cats too. Hope Carson is doing ok there…

Yeah, if I go to someone’s house and there are pets there, I usually talk to the dog first. Cried like a baby for a good 5 minutes when i put Jozie our 14 year old lab down. Here are Georgie,my daughter’s dog, (little rescue mutt who is 2) and Maggie an 8 year old yellow lab. Not usually a small dog guy but Georgie has attitude and cuteness up the wazoo.
