My Old Ass Cat

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on November 20, 2020

I know most of you guys don’t care about horse racing, golf or probably cats. But it’s the off season and this is the stuff I like. Here’s a pic of my big diabetic boy tonight:

Here’s a pic of him in our tomato garden last summer right before we planted.

I know everyone dies, everything dies. But animals are better than people man, they just are.

Anyway, tonight you get pictures of Carson. It better than pics of Rudy Giuliani sweating hair dye down his fat, cousin-fucking face. Admit it.

Giuliani fucked and married his cousin. Why isn’t this discussed more? No one seems to know or care about this.

  2. djloo27 said, on November 20, 2020 at 8:18 pm

    Carson’s a strong lookin’ boy.
    He’s gonna do fine.
Did he start his new diet?

    • Flavor said, on November 20, 2020 at 8:24 pm

he did. Royal canine, renal support. wet and dry. He loves both. Eating food has never been an issue for him tho. lol. I think I gave him diabetes and I suck. Oh well, no where to go from here except up/fixing him/keeping him alive.

      • djloo27 said, on November 20, 2020 at 8:28 pm

That’s a huge hurdle you cleared.
Sometimes the transition to different food is a battle.
        The shots are cake…

Yeah Carson is looking good BF really not to heavy, not like that fat fuck Skeeter, Matt Duffy’s cat that tip
the scales at 27 lbs at the pumpkin weighing in HMB 🙀

  4. zumiee said, on November 20, 2020 at 10:49 pm

Giuliani married his second-cousin which is supposed to make it less terrible somehow.

    • Flavor said, on November 21, 2020 at 6:09 am

he’s a goddamn cousin fucker with cheap hair dye leaking down his face. New Yorkers, at this point, have to be embarrassed by him, right?

      • djloo27 said, on November 21, 2020 at 6:44 am

        It’s kinda like Mays, Flavor.
He just stayed too long and he’s lost it.
He was a fearless DA (took on his own people) and a legendary mayor.
You would not believe the useless scumbag we have now.
Probably the most despised politician in the history of the city…

Second cousins is moderately common among the Amish—third cousins not uncommon and beyond that, everyone is related cross cousins are the rule amongst that rather limited gene-pool.

  5. alleykat69 said, on November 20, 2020 at 11:10 pm

Is that how they come up with that weird line that cracks me up: “Yeah he’s a second cousin twice removed?”

  6. willedav said, on November 21, 2020 at 6:27 am

Knicks fans should be happy with Alec Burks. Given ball and some minutes with Warriors, he was very efficient scorer who could create off dribble for mid range J and knock down a 3. One of very few bright spots 2019-20; was disappointed when they traded him to save salary cap $$.

    • djloo27 said, on November 21, 2020 at 6:36 am

Thanks, WillieD. I was gonna ask you guys about him.
Been a long time since the Knicks were watchable.
Consensus is that they had a good draft.
      Heard that before…

      • willedav said, on November 21, 2020 at 6:46 am

I loved Obi Toppin for Warriors but already a logjam at forward spot where he’d be blocked. Thought he was most polished and well rounded of bigs.

  7. willedav said, on November 21, 2020 at 6:30 am

btw nice pix Flav. Good luck with cat and diet, care and feeding. Always nice to have assistant vet trainer such as Loo around to lean on for advice.

  8. willedav said, on November 21, 2020 at 6:37 am

Hard to believe Dodgers would take on $200 mil still owed to Arenado. They can keep Turner around for year or two and he can still hit. They have the younger guy Rios to cover 3b, plus they have to work out deal with Seager who is FA after 2021, and pay for however much of Price the Sox aren’t covering.

    • alleykat69 said, on November 21, 2020 at 9:03 am

When do the Dodgers ever worry about money issues anyway?Dont they still have that 2 trillion dollar cable deal?
It’s no big deal for them to eat up any huge contracts unlike the Giants.

  9. djloo27 said, on November 21, 2020 at 7:32 am

    Here’s a good trivia question.
Probably easy for WillieD and Kat so give the other guys a chance.

Who did the Phoenix Suns draft after losing the coin flip to the Bucks for Alcindor?

  10. Winder said, on November 21, 2020 at 8:27 am

Nice picture of your cat. Great coloring and markings, very regal. I also think animals are better than people. All our dogs got old and had to be put down and I just don’t have the wherewithal to go through that again. I was raised with dogs and love them dearly. But for me at this stage of life it would be like raising an infant again. i will stick to my cats whom I love just as much.

    • Flavor said, on November 21, 2020 at 8:52 am

yeah, we have another cat, Carson’s brother Reno. But I’m just not really connected to him. I want to say I’m done with animals after Carson passes. I just get too attached to them

      • Carstie Clausen said, on November 21, 2020 at 10:24 am

My brother, a miser-hermit, though not without many commonsense views, lost the family cat some years back and was so emotionally wrecked over that, he resolutely refuses to get another.

Having lost my cat family due to that federal air-raid intrusion when cannabis interdiction should have (by constitutional law) been totally the province of the county sheriff; I got pretty bereft. Now, at the sister’s house, Luttie has totally adopted me and loves to cuddle at the foot of my noon-facing bed. Epigenetically infused through his ancestral connection with me, he really caught on a couple weeks back when he gave my then just unpackaged Redwing boots, the sniff test: Deep familiarity. Instant cognition. Cats are tuned into sensing systems that we humans gave up when we got “civilized”. Cats know.

We have a small dog. Terrier chihuahua mix. Best dog ever. He is 12 and already grey. Has a heart murmur. Royal canine good stuff for him too. I’d post a pic if i knew how:) I’ve tried to before and can’t figure it out!

    • sfsarge said, on November 21, 2020 at 10:35 am

Hey we also have a chihuahua terrier mix. Super attached to my 14 year old daughter, they’re joined at the hip. She was a rescue dog. She’s sweet, but I’m not super enamored with little dogs. We’ve had her for 3 years now, and I’m just finally starting to warm up to her. We’ll have to look into the royal canine, but this dog is super picky.

  12. willedav said, on November 21, 2020 at 10:24 am

Loo I wouldn’t have gotten it; guy I guessed drafted by Phoenix couple years later. I did see those guys play though, cool team– Stanford guard Art Harris, very cool player had receding hairline and looked lot older that he was.
Mr. Harris is still alive too.
Always dug Suns uni, purple with orange boiling sun on hip.

Some good players taken in 3rd and later rounds of that draft–Norm Van Lier Fred Carter Bob Dandridge.

Alright! I can post from my iPad. Glad paSalon’s house was unscathed. Prayers and positive thoughts for Snarkks family. Hope everyone stays safe and heeds the warnings about gatherings for the holidays. I know it sucks and we all want a return to normalcy, but we need to get this madness under control. Hope you all are doing well!

Glad to have you back! Now we just gotta get wilco joe to pick up his iPad too!

“I wouldn’t limit our opportunities to just bounce-back guys”. Farhan Zaidi in an Alex Pavlovic interview just posted on MLBTR—front and center right now on their page.

Suggests to me that SF is IN. Looks like we will after all be PLAYERS in both free-agents and trades. He’s focusing on pitching, though not limited there.

One speculation by one of their writers earlier today is that as the Rox want to get out of Arenado’s HUGE long-term contract, that the Giants might consider swapping Longo (with the much cheaper contract) and some minor league pipeliners (Canario +?) for a defensive whiz at 3B and a feared #4 hitter. Seems like Arenado is getting tired of Denver and that organization. Would he fit in at Willie Mays field?

Pitching: With Zaidi’s statement, it now looks like the Giants may not go as high as Bauer—who is sweet-talking Cohen’s new plaything Mutts–but for maybe the 2nd or 3rd most highly rated starter to get the nod between Gausman and Cueto. Still pumped on acquisition of a premiere reliever and a solid 6th to 8th inning setup guy.

All and all Zaidi appears prepped to make bigger moves than we’ve seen since his accession to the throne.

Also I’m sorry not a cat person, but I realize that cats are a part of the family. I hope all of your fur family members get thru what they have going on as well.

Loo..Yeah I know the answer of the forgettable player but I’ll give others a chance 1st..

Here’s a trivia ? as well…The SF Warriors at the time made history for drafting a woman in the 13th Rd which was voided by the league as a publicity stunt..
    Can anyone name her?

To this day, when I conjure the two times I’ve had to put down a pet, the feelings from those events can still take over for a depressing moment or two.

  19. willedav said, on November 21, 2020 at 10:54 am

Loo the NBA era of 70s ushered in by Alcindor to Bucks was great time to be b-ball fan. Yes Celts won 2 more in 70s, but West finally got one for LA and bunch of other teams got one.
Bucks of course, plus Warriors Bullets Sonics and Blazers, and 2 for Knicks. So unfortunate those others have such long drought since then; Warriors lasted 30 years.

I saw that news about Coloradans waiting in a car line up to 12 hours to get In N Out burger at the opening of the first two in the state in Colorado Springs and Aurora (Denver). Being familiar with Colorado Springs, I guarantee a ton of those idling in line for half a day in Colorado Springs are mask refuseniks. They’ll waste half a day and burn that gasoline for a burger, but no, no — won’t wear a simple mask to slow Covid. Nationally, now up to 200K positive cases PER DAY. We have a country full of selfish, clueless, dumb-ass people…

    • zumiee said, on November 21, 2020 at 12:16 pm

I went to a Costco this morning and saw that Totally Unnecessary Hoarding has returned. I saw how big the line was outside the store and went somewhere else.

      • snarkk said, on November 21, 2020 at 12:36 pm

We stopped going to Costco years ago. The incentive is too strong to buy too much crap, some of which you may not even use in a year, or ever. Except huge jars of olives, and giant bags of chips, which I gladly devoured very quickly — and that had to stop.
Much more into Trader Joe’s, though I haven’t been in one since March due to Covid…

wow first race at Del Mar won in 3 horse photo finish by a nose with Flavien Pratt on Blackout just outdueling Umberto Rispoli 5 F on turf. Pratt had 2 winners yesterday and cuts further into jockey standing lead behind Abel Cedillo.

  22. Bozo said, on November 21, 2020 at 12:44 pm

Carson is a great looking cat and looks like a good buddy, Currently we have 1 dog and 4 cats running our place.

  23. Flavor said, on November 21, 2020 at 4:28 pm

Prat and rispoli 1/2 on the turf in the finale at DM. Did you catch that dumb fuck move by the girl rider burning out in 22.1? She doesn’t know what she is doing

    • willedav said, on November 21, 2020 at 5:53 pm

Missed that one, but 3 winners today for Mr Prat. Stopped watching after Baffert 2 years old broke maiden with Cedillo aboard. Good racing today though, really enjoy Del Mar.

“Animals are better than people”… Funny, last night was streaming a few episodes of Money Heist (now starting S4); there was a discussion among the heisters of trusting or not trusting, and one character flat out said he didn’t trust people, any people, he only trusted animals, because they’re always there for you. Yeah… I grew up a dog person, but I’ve known some pretty cool cats too. Hope Carson is doing ok there…

Yeah, if I go to someone’s house and there are pets there, I usually talk to the dog first. Cried like a baby for a good 5 minutes when i put Jozie our 14 year old lab down. Here are Georgie,my daughter’s dog, (little rescue mutt who is 2) and Maggie an 8 year old yellow lab. Not usually a small dog guy but Georgie has attitude and cuteness up the wazoo.
