Ha, I’d say no but would not have given him much chance either to direct 3 scoring drives for TD last week either. Wilson torched them earlier; see if Niners D can build off last week when they frustrated Murray in what’s likely Saleh’s last game with them.

As far as QBs go, I’m still in camp that accuracy and quick decision making are more important than mobility. I think shanahan has full confidence in putting together winning game plan for G given he has all his weapons such as Bourne Deebo Aiyuk Mostert and Kittle around him. They won without most of above last week and wilson went off. Sure draft replacement but mobility not a big deal to me–the Murrays and L Jacksons of NFL still have to show foremost they can win with their arms, and brains.

Without trent in there I expect CJ to get planted and hit quite a bit. Everyone is either hurt or out, don’t like our chances today.

  3. Bozo said, on January 3, 2021 at 8:46 am

Sorry to hear that you tested positive, PK. So glad you are feeling better and hopefully at 100% soon..

  4. Macdog said, on January 3, 2021 at 9:04 am

The Seahawks still have a chance at the top seed and the bye, but it’s a long shot: they have to win and both the Packers (at Bears) and Saints (at Panthers and sans RBs) have to lose. So not sure how motivated they’ll be today vs. Niners, especially since there’s no difference between the 2nd and 3rd seed.

    • Flavor said, on January 3, 2021 at 9:43 am

i think Seattle plays this straight up. They’re still pissed about getting stopped on the 1 inch line last year. Carroll loves the pay back, too

  5. Flavor said, on January 3, 2021 at 9:49 am

    some names on that bench

  6. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 9:49 am

Not without Deebo, Mostert, or Aiyuk. Kittle will help some but Seattle’s defense s playing better these days.

    Don’t see it.

  7. alleykat69 said, on January 3, 2021 at 10:55 am

Agree Chuck…Except for Kittle and Wilson jr to many key players are out.
Saints have an outside chance I believe if the Packers lose for the top seed, but hell all of the running backs are out with Covid, no Thomas and T’quan Smith either could be tough sledding against Panthers..

  8. willedav said, on January 3, 2021 at 11:10 am

Toilolo sighting. Davis Mills Stanford QB will declare for draft…better chance for PT than Ehlinger?

  9. willedav said, on January 3, 2021 at 11:28 am

Dante Pettis, holyF! burns boys for TD

  10. alleykat69 said, on January 3, 2021 at 11:34 am

Ehlinger just reminds me of alittle bigger version of Colt McCoy.Maybe can carve out a long backup career like McCoy has done..

Holy shit a Dante Pettis sighting and a Touchdown for the NY Giants as Dallas is crumbling as expected..

    • willedav said, on January 3, 2021 at 11:45 am

He actually had Covid after NYGs picked him up. Said he lost 8 lbs during 10 day quarantine plus had to catch up on playbook terminology etc.

  11. alleykat69 said, on January 3, 2021 at 12:55 pm

McCarthy really is retarded. He should of and would of won a challenge on Pettis ketch.Giants get 3 pts out of it to extend the league to 23-19..

    • Macdog said, on January 3, 2021 at 1:33 pm

Yep, no idea why he didn’t challenge that. Oh well, sucks for the Cowboys.

  12. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 1:37 pm

Any time the Cowboys fuck up, I’m happy. McCarthy has become really stupid these days,

    • Winder said, on January 3, 2021 at 2:41 pm

Me too. Watching the cowboys struggle never gets old.

  13. willedav said, on January 3, 2021 at 1:41 pm

Joel Rosario wins again at SA in 3rd race on turf, finding room on rail from outside starting position #7. Counting end of yesterday, 4 winners in last 6 races and fast climbing up leader board behind Juan Hernandez.

    • Flavor said, on January 3, 2021 at 3:00 pm

Did you see that terrible ride by Pyfer in the last race? She took that six horse out way too fast you can’t win a race on the turf going 45 flat for the half

      • djloo27 said, on January 3, 2021 at 3:07 pm

I haven’t seen much of her, but she always looks so high up in the saddle.
        What’s up with that?
        Just her style?

      • djloo27 said, on January 3, 2021 at 3:10 pm

I don’t like it and think it should be corrected…

      • djloo27 said, on January 3, 2021 at 3:29 pm

The average person doesn’t realize how much jockeys use their legs.
You lose that when you’re raised up…

      • willedav said, on January 3, 2021 at 4:06 pm

Yeah that didn’t work at all.

  14. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 3:23 pm

Defense is bringing it for the Niners.

  15. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 3:34 pm

    16-6 Niners.

  16. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 4:08 pm

    Speaking of Brian Sipe . . .

  17. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 4:08 pm

    19-16 Seattle.

  18. Flavor said, on January 3, 2021 at 4:38 pm

I did not have him but that ride rispoli just gave the four horse in the finale at Santa Anita was something else

  19. xoot said, on January 3, 2021 at 4:52 pm

I watched most of all of the games today, and I did not give shit about any of it. Kittle and Juscheck are always worth following. Otherwise, this season sucks. The SB should be asterisked. But I guess I’ll still be watching.

Here’s my nom for song of 2020:

    • zumiee said, on January 3, 2021 at 5:40 pm

Yes. A great choice. Steve honoring his son in the midst of this terrible year.

      • xoot said, on January 3, 2021 at 5:54 pm

        Thanks.

Early but so far Draymond shows faith in the bricklayer.

    • willedav said, on January 3, 2021 at 6:22 pm

playing much better tonight, but Blazers staying close with Green and Curry out. Good ballgame so far.

  22. willedav said, on January 3, 2021 at 6:21 pm

Areceaga Whiteside sighting, followed by Hurts romp into end zone. Eagles up 14-10

  23. zumiee said, on January 3, 2021 at 6:47 pm

Curry is fun to watch. He’s the most fun to watch in the NBA, IMO.

    • willedav said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:06 pm

Rolling tonight with driving game. Dribble and change of direction moves unreal. Finishing inside too.

  24. djloo27 said, on January 3, 2021 at 6:47 pm

    Brutal trivia question:

Name the pitcher who led the Giants with 11 wins in the strike shortened 1981 season?

    • djloo27 said, on January 3, 2021 at 6:51 pm

The same guy is the answer to this well-known NY trivia question:

Who started Game One of the 1976 WS for the Yankees?

    • unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:18 pm

      Couldn’t be Blue

    • unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:25 pm

The only other pitcher I can remember is Ed Whitson and I’m pretty sure it ain’t him.

      • djloo27 said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:33 pm

Good guess, but no. Without the Yankee clue, I’d never get it.
This guy was only a Giant for that one season.
Had a good long career. Bounced around a lot.
        Never a real ace…

  25. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:15 pm

Warriors looking pretty good tonight. Wiggins and Oubre should be driving all the time instead of taking 3s.

  26. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:19 pm

Steph has made so many careless turnovers.

    • willedav said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:34 pm

First half was pretty amazing though. When he plays like that and gets some help they can beat teams. Dame got him last game, he’s getting revenge so far.
Nurkic looks like Zaza Jr. tonight, total screw up.

  27. alleykat69 said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:31 pm

45 pts thru 3 periods makes up some turnovers..

  28. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:31 pm

The Warriors are doing what they should against Nurkick and Cantor. And that’s spread the floor and drive past them.

  29. alleykat69 said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:34 pm

I’m going to say the well traveled Doyle Alexander?

    • unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:35 pm

Ahhh. Forgot about him. That sounds right.

      • djloo27 said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:40 pm

        That’s a winner!

  30. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:34 pm

4th and goal from the 4 and Philly goes for it down 3 late in the 3rd quarter?

And Al Michaels says “I’m not letting the Eagles head coach pick my horses at Santa Anita next week.”

  31. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:44 pm

Since they score so well driuving to the hoop, the Warriors go 3 happy and shrink their 20 point lead down to 7.

  32. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 7:47 pm

    Thankfully they are driving again.

  33. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 8:00 pm

    Holy shit. 62 fior Steph.

    • alleykat69 said, on January 3, 2021 at 8:11 pm

Steph still the best on🔥🔥🔥🔥tonight! Nothing like a career high 62!!

  34. alleykat69 said, on January 3, 2021 at 8:04 pm

The heist of alltime for Atlanta..Doyle Alexander traded by Atlanta to Detroit in 1987 for future HOF John Smoltz…Ouch Detroit sure got rear-ended in that one..

  35. alleykat69 said, on January 3, 2021 at 8:17 pm

You pull Jaylin Hurd for the 3rd stringer? While the game was still a tossup, NY Giants fans have to be livid!!

  36. djloo27 said, on January 3, 2021 at 8:20 pm

No NFC East team has any business complaining about their fate…

    • Macdog said, on January 3, 2021 at 9:05 pm

      Absolutely correct.

  37. unca_chuck said, on January 3, 2021 at 8:25 pm

And Young Sir Alex is moving on to the playoffs.

    • alleykat69 said, on January 3, 2021 at 8:31 pm

And good for Alex Smith, quite a story!
And yes I’ll say it the Eagles TANKED It once they pulled Hurts in a still winnable game..

  38. mrsprtdude said, on January 3, 2021 at 9:07 pm

Eagles lame. I love Steph. Not sure he is the star we want him to be but man is he fun to watch when he is on!!
