Time For The First Annual NFLBBB
The *masses* were clammoring in chat for me to get the NFL Blowout Bonaza Bet (NFLBBB) set up so this is the thread to do just that. Your task is to accurately identify the TOTAL number of points scored in the 6 NFL playoff games this weekend. Without further ado….the total points as Vegas has them currently assigned:
Colts/Bills: 51.5
Rams/Sea: 42.5
Bucs/WFT: 45.5
Ravens/Tenn: 55
Bears//Saint: 47.5
Browns/Pitt: 47
What do you get if you add all that shit up? That’s a cool 289, baby. Big Flavor already doing most of the work for you. Now, you COULD guess 289 and that would probably put you in the ballpark for the win. But that’s kind of a pussy guess to make, just giving a knowing dude head nod to the Vegas odds makers. Be your own man. Pick you own number.
But since most of the numbers will be close or semi close to 289, the TIE BREAKER is going to be how many games you get right. Don’t worry about the point spread. Just send me your TOTAL NUMBER of points for all 6 games along with the six teams you think are going to win.
If there’s a tie after that so be it. The winners will split it up. To the victor go the spoils…….
Back in the day this contest winner would be awarded a COMPUTER! But we don’t roll that way anymore with Twinfan gone and probably looking down calling me a dunderhead for not continuing his grand tradition. This contest costs $10 and it’s winner take all. You want to play for $$$$ let me know that in the email. Ten Bones. That’s two fins from where I come from. If you don’t want to play for cash you can play for fun I’m cool with that. Just indicate it in the email. I won’t collect $$$ this is on the honor system. Once we identify a winner who played for cash I’ll have all the losers (who agree to play for $) to send him $10 via paypal, zelle, whatever. DO NOT SEND ME $$$

“yo Flavor! Hey man, thanks for keeping the blog going all these years yadda yadda, the typical message I get from you guys 🙂 …..my total point # is _________ and my 6 winners are_____ _______ _______ ______ ______ _______ and I have ten bones (two fins) and I’m lettin’ that shit ride!!!! woo hoo!!!!!”

You have until kickoff of the first game Sat morning (that’s the Colts game, 10:15am PST) to get me your picks. I will send an email to my daughter shortly after I post this thread with my picks so nobody thinks I’m waiting to see what everyone else picks before guessing. The integrity of the game is paramount.

What’s that? Closest to the actual number? Sure. But I am pretty sure someone is going to get it if we get 30 or so players (and I expect of those 30 many will be playing for free).
I will say that if one of the freebies wins it that’s it there is no prize. It would be lame to have a freebie win it and then we go find the closest pay-play guess.

his family is in Det so there’s that. Jags get Laurence but I just don’t think a situation like there, where a rebuild is happening with literally one stud piece, is a good move for any coach. Atl should give the job to the interm guy IMO, he did a great job turning them around
Jags have two first rounds, two second rounds, and a third…and more. They also have the most cap space of any NFL team. Not a bad rebuild situation. If I was Saleh, I would consider the Jags long and hard.
Urban Meyer gets the job in Jacksonville Chi, he practically has his coaching staff picked out.Jaguars want to make a bigtime splash with they’re 81m cap space..
