Warriors Coalescing
The Dubs playing better isn’t a surprise, they were destined to start off slow without Draymond and with Steph having to play with a bunch of scrubbini’s. And one thing we knew was that Wiseman was going to get better as he got to play.
Watching Boogie get two tech’s in 3 minutes was good comedy. And his angst was directed at no less than a trusted fellow wildcat. Cousins has been the same since he got into the league: a bully who freaks out if you even breath on him defensively. I still don’t understand why WCS never became more than a journeyman fringe guy……
maybe Flav we’ll see. Bench is still kinda funky. Looney looks lost out there; hopefully Wiseman can stay on floor more. Backups at guard still a crapshoot of scrubinis. But as Zum said, when Curry is going off they can beat most any team. I give props to Green for what he’s done so far, playing point and defending inside.
Everyone looks great when they win–in losses I think you learn more about team. West is gonna be tough.
As for Casali, yes he is just a guy, but he’s a guy with ML experience who has hit ML pitching, unlike Tromp Bart etc. Bar for backup C is pretty low and he should be fine…first bomb he hits upgrades him over Bart at once. All I’ve read on Bart is that he is still highly rated as prospect in system, so up to him to make more progress.
One thing I like is Wiggins and Oubre both can score inside. But they need to do it against the Lakers and Clippers and other strong teams.
Didn’t see any of dustup, but WCS just seemed like guy who wanted to blend in and be a good unselfish teammate as opposed to really getting after it and dominating at either end. He wasn’t ever going to get to another level and be a force, just a big body.
.
Couple different columns on MLBTR where Puig’s name comes up. On main one amongst 150 comments are 2 from guys who’d like to see him as corner OF on Giants. One of them said, “…there’s something about former Dodgers doing well later in there (sic) career on the Giants…” Is this true? Other than Reggie Smith couldn’t think of one offhand.
Nate “Pee Wee” Oliver?
I guess Dusty’s one year as a player for us wasn’t all that great.
Couldn’t have been Darryl “White Line”Strawberry.
And I’m still trying to forget the 1 year gig of Orel Hershageek..
Candy?
Ron Hunt?
Eddie Stanky?
Loo thx. Maldonado and Hunt 2 really good finds in Giants deals with Dogs.
Cleveland Browns finally make a playoff and now they’re HC Stephanski and 2 asst coaches+3 more ruled out with Postive Covid testing.Game against the Steelers as usual still on for now..
I will say this about the Dubs. I thought Wiseman along with 2-3 future #1s was going to be a tasty enough offer to dangle Milwaukee’s way for Giannis, but Wiseman as a career long Warrior may make me giddy as Dray Steph and Curry age out next 3-4 years.
I loved having Durant and he was probably greatly responsible for winning the last two championships, but something in the back of my head never thought of him as a true Dub as we have been blessed with in Steph Klay and Dray (ohhhh good marketing idea!!!) And thought he would eventually move on and probably better for us long term financially that he has. Can we build the next championship team post SKD around Wiseman and all these future #1s??? Let’s just hold on to them and not worry about the next KD, Giannis, Embiid yada yada. I told you all to have faith in Oubre!!! He will be a needed keep when Klay is back with Wiggins as the 6th man unless we can move Wiggins later…
Hey Flav and Loo – I have not seen any other traffic on a pool for point totals on this weekend’s NFL playoff games.
$10 buy-in.
Wassup? I am ready to take all your money. 😉
Yup. Will get to it
Grave Duggar reference:
