LaBumbos fans may perpetually live in LaLaLand, but so do the Fanside Fog-hornies. They tossed out this loopy notion that SF could make the playoffs. Their reasoning looks like a lot of rationalization, but the cheery attitude was nice to see. I’m still down for 78-84 and no playoffs.

If you listed the 10 most significant home runs in Giant history (even just SF Giant history), it’s highly possible that the names Mays, McCovey and Bonds aren’t on it. How crazy is that?

  Does this crack the top 10? In the ’62 regular-season finale, Mays hit a go-ahead HR vs. Astros in the bottom of the 8th, Giants won 2-1 in a game they had to win — and hope the Dodgers lost to the Cards, which they did — to force the best-of-3 playoff vs. Dodgers (though still considered part of regular season).

Wow, I found my way back here for two days in a row. My rule is if it takes me more than 30 seconds to log in, I just give up. Anyway, I just saw the list of Giants pitchers for the first exhibition opener and I have literally heard of no one. 7 Giants toeing the rubber and I haven’t heard of a single one. I really need to spend more time here.

Yo-yo-ville. Giants have RE-claimed Jordan Humphreys, who had picked him up when SF dfa-ed him. Originally with the Mutts, Humphreys had an excellent hurling record in their Mi-L pipeline. Who would have known that Tyler Beede had been kept on the 40-man to snag this one back into the bulging fold? Beede goes on the 60 day D.L.

If Los Gigantes do not win anything else this year, they should take the championship for creative 40-man juggling.

Yeah Giants are the kings of players that they DFA and no other teams pickup.
Now it’s Trevor Gott time again after he cleared waviers and now they reclaimed him and he’s heading to Sacramento to try and get his game back on track.

Only weighed 168-170 lbs last year and now has bulked up to 182lbs of added muscle not 12 plus pounds of covid lazy fat lol 😂
