Another shut out for Casalli. Man, do those SP’s jizz at the sight of his fingers or what! At this point, whether you think that’s luck or not, wouldn’t it be at least a good idea to consider to have Posey play first base and Casilla catch? I know Buster has about the same affect on our SP’s so it probably isn’t worth it since you lessen the D at first base with that move. But Belt is hitting .186 so…..Also, how much offense do we really need if Casilla is coaxing out these shut outs like a snake charmer teases a snake from his chambers?

Okay. We’re 13-7. Wondering, though, why Kap went with McGee with a four run lead? No save opportunity and a fairly well-stuffed bullpen. It would have been fun to see one of those two fireballing youngsters get the nod. Closers can get a bit sloppy with big leads and then Wilmer’s fluffle got Jake to shuffle. Anyway, good chance the LaBumbos will lose if the Dagos’ pen holds. Nice win overall and Wood was just one pitch short of spectacular. He should be high on the ERA leader-board now.

  I’m feeling they’re overusing McGee when it’s not needed, which could show up later in the season imo.

Yaz is a good post game interview. His genuineness reminds me of the best, Lincecum. Slicker, not as soulful, but almost as good.
