Tough loss for the Giants and Giants fans, obviously; but on the positive side, the game had daring baserunning and plays at the bases, which is good for the sport, and something the sport used to have more of. As painful a loss as it is, it was a game that had the entertainment elements the sport has to offer.
And the sport also has everyday-ness going for it. The teams go right back at it tomorrow. The NBA rarely has back to back games, and with football, of course, fans wait a week.
I’m just saying, as terrible a loss as it was for our side, it was a real baseball game. Not strike out/HR derby boring ball.
Switched over to Pads hosting Cards. Arenado homered off Melancon last night in losing effort, then just homered again tonight, but Cards getting whomped 7-2. Good to see him torture someone else for change.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is full of inexplicable choices to the point where I long ago stopped caring about it. And especially when KISS made it in. Seriously, what’s the point of a Hall of Fame if KISS is in it?
