Giants Winning, LA Reeling
Taking 3 in a row from the Art Dealers was something I didn’t expect to see. But it is eagerly welcomed. Bullpen gave up 4 runs again but ONLY 3 were earned! More progress? This can’t go on like this……
I am bullish on Cueto today. Let’s keep the streak going!
Today is the most important day to honor and observe. “The ultimate sacrifice.” As the old saying goes, “if you can read this thank a teacher. If it’s in English thank a veteran.”
Last Leaf Cup was ’67 I think…
Wizards stay alive.
Ah, baseball these days. In 4 innings, the Dodgers have struck out 9 times, hit 2 solo HRs, and lead 2-0.
The Cards hit 2 HRs off of Swordman, and now lead 3-2.
Intriguing….
“The Giants said they would place their prospects conservatively this season but promote aggressively. It only took five starts from Matt Frisbee for the organization to hold true to that pledge.
The big righty starting pitcher is heading up from Double-A Richmond to Triple-A Sacramento, KNBR has learned. His last start with the Flying Squirrels came Sunday, when he struck out eight and allowed one hit in seven scoreless innings. That is one more hit than he allowed in a May 13 outing, when he went the first six innings of a combined no-hitter.
In all, the 24-year-old posted a 1.24 ERA in 29 innings, in which he struck out 32 and allowed one walk and 11 hits. He earned the call-up.
The North Carolina native, who was a 15th-round pick in 2018, has a low-to-mid 90s fastball with a plus slider and a changeup, plus a splitter that he recently has added to his arsenal.”
Frisbee throws a good slider….OK!
Cards bullpen gives it up. Ah, bullpen pitchers….
You’d think the entire planet Earth could provide more quality bullpen pitchers for MLB teams.
Mason Williams making his Mets debut tonight vs. D-Backs, his uncle is Walt “No Neck” Williams, just made a nice catch in deep CF to save a run.
This song was a monster hit around1968.
Zumiee might like the guitar playing…
thanks for update 6:10 Loo on Longoria. so it was Giants version of Gordie Howe hat trick—homerun, quality start, and an injury.
These injuries sound ominous and are really piling up.
Seems like Giants were remarkably healthy during the championship seasons.
Not a single TJ between Tim, Cain and Bum, right?
Whatever the new Giants training crew is doing to prevent muscle pulls and strains, it is not working…
