I found this yesterday looking for pictures from 1988 lol. I can’t remember who gave it to me. Pat the Bat wishing the Flap well.

Today is probably my favorite day of the year. I hope you guys have a good one.

    Daniel’s last column he’s talking them up after sweeping AZ. Then they lost 3 of 4 in Coors, and scored only 2 runs in each of those Ls. May 30 they were in first, now 10 games out after going 11-20. Lost 2 of 3 in series to Pirates and both games of 2 game set to Detroit.
    LHP Kim goes for them tonight, then 2 RHPs. Be interesting to hear what Daniel has to say about Posey HOF, since I’m sure he feels Molina is a lock.

    Golds and Arenado both return to the O in same lineup…what could go wrong?

    The collapse of the NL Central is kind of bizarre.
    Although….watching the Cubs vs. the Giants, the Cubs seemed a bit over-rated.

    After the Cubs no-hit the Dodgers, the Dodgers went on a winning streak, and the Cubs fell apart. Who’da thunk it.

    Arenado doing OK but Golds is .745 OPS guy and seems to be trending downward.
    Cards are 13th in NL for runs per game, 9th HRs, 14th in OB yada yada in other words, they don’t hit bombs or get on base well, and are down there with Marlins and Pirates of league offensively. Just haven’t hit well as a team even with those 2 in lineup.

    I think people downplay the nice guy aspect of Posey that will get hm in. Esp if he finishes this year strong.
