This is going about how I remember Giants/Cards games from the past. You always get a tough game from them. I have never heard of Johan Oviedo but I’m sure he’ll twirl a good one tonight despite his 0-4 record and hefty 5.14 ERA.

another hat trick–bomb from ruf quality start 7 strong from Wood, and Wade Jr. hurt his hand there when bat got broken. Vosler has played some 1b. Cards kid Sosa had impressive series with glove and homered game 2.
Yaz said he did mess with them, noticing they kept changing signs every time he was on 2b. But he wasn’t actually sending any coded message to hitter–just sold it. Oviedo was wildman anyway and not very good.
How about 2 trips sweeping Roberts and LA? dogs led last game 5-2, and their pen imploded in 9-6 walk off L.
Kap said Webb starts Friday. Black shoes will be in pen.
Makes sense Webb believe it are not is less wild then Beede. Both coming off injuries a good way for Kap to see how they both handle it. Best scenario 5 innings for Webb maybe 2 for black shoes..
Getting Webb back as a decent 4-5 would be excellent.
