Honestly Yaz is going to have to pick it up if he was to avoid the /Slater at the end of his name.

And what happened to La Stella? I know he hurt his thumb, is he done for the year now? What a worthless signing that was.

    LaStella is in Sac should be back soon, though yes hasn’t done anything of note entire season up to now. Longoria and Belt too should be live next week. Which means Bryant can play LF or 1b vs. LHP. Roster crunch is coming…see who survives after Vosler goes first.

    Whatever goes on the rest of the season, the Padres play the Giants and Dodgers and the rest of the west the rest of the way.

    They have 8 against the Dogs and 10 against us.

      I was watching the MLB all trade day marathon, and it was Greg Ambsenger (sp) who first blurted out the flub of Bart&Wade going to the Cubs, and I was like wtf? Even Harold Reynolds and O’Dowd I think and one other guy all had bewildering looks like well that can’t be right?
      Get the facts right first geez , he had egg on his face blowing that one..So since it was live and up to date I have to figure it was him and everyone else were just playing off of that..

      He was removed from even the 40 man roster to clear room for Crawford ‘s return.
      I can’t see why he would comeback to the Giants are they want him back.

    Such a great fit getting the versatility of Bryant 1B,3B,All 3 Outfield spots.
    So why now do they really need to keep 7 outfielders on the roster?
    Yaz,Ruf,Slater,Duggar,Dickerson,Wade,Bryant, oh let’s no forget Estrada with his shot last night in LF ..
    Really think it’s time to move on from Dickerson, give him a Philly cheesesteaks franchise for a parting gift!

    Other likely moves coming up the usual option boys, Long&Vosler,maybe Jackson? I like his stuff,but hopefully that Grandslam doesn’t send him into a tailspin.And speaking of stuff in the wrong direction.Aaron Sanchez barely tipping 91 again? If he’s not hitting the corners consistently he will get lit up.

      Slusser had said on twitter confirmed Giants were getting bryant (from Passan), and then in the thread couple different people said it was Wade Jr. and Bart going back to Cubs. One said they’d heard it on knbr and from Papa.
      Then her next tweet had the Nightengale thread that said “Kilian and Alex Camargo.” anyone bother to check this shit?

    What’s taking Bryant so long to get here? The trade went down just before 1 pm SF time yesterday. There is such a thing as an airplane. How long does it take to clear out a locker? He’s getting paid by the Giants about $125K not to be at today’s game. Lots of guys traded make the next days game…

      This chart is from last year, but it tells a basic story. The SF Bay Area has taken the virus extremely seriously from the get-go. If some people want to say overly-seriously, people can debate that if they want to.

    I know I’m turning into a grouchy old man, but the never ending “he’s a bum” chant by that group of fans drives me crazy. If I was sitting in front of those guys, it would ruin the game for me. I’d walk up to the shitty seats in the upper deck to get away from them.
    ( Of course, if I paid for the seats myself, that’s where I’d be sitting anyway)
