Flap Overload
Exciting day today! Flaplooza going down at Oracle. The Great Mac Dog arrives from the East Coast. We storm the building shortly thereafter.
I’ll try to post pics on twitter so follow me there if you want to see any of the action.
Go Giants.

Just landed.
Woo hoo! In the house!
I see Sammy Long gets the start!
Have fun Mac.
In 21 years I have never sat in the arcade. Can’t wait!
Hope you guys have a great time.
Today is David Crosby’s 80th birthday. He released a new album this year. His voice sounds as great as ever. It’s pretty amazing. On this song, Donald Fagan helps out, so that’s why the song sounds so Steely Dan-ish.
Alright. The Mac Attack, Flavor Maximus, Chi Machine &Sarge will be in the Big O Park hopefully bringing home another Giants Win over the Rockies towards a Sweep 🧹 Have a blast gang! ⚾️🧡🖤🍿🍔🍕🍺🍻🍹🥃👍👏😎
we are in section 151 if anyone wants to pause the game and see us dominating a section

So jealous!!!
What a great fuckin’ day this is gonna be for you guys.
Like a bunch of misbehaving 12 year olds on a class trip…
Wouldn’t be happening if you hadn’t reposted his comment my man! Thanks for putting this together!
Aw, I’m sure Mac would’ve mentioned it again.
He’s not exactly shy…
Bring home the win, boys!! Should be a blast!!
2nd woman, in Cincy well over a year ago, filed similar abuse charges and court protection against Bauer as are now pending by a second woman in LA. He’s denied it. No evidence these women knew each other, at this point. So, two different women, split by over a year’s time and half a continent, appear to independently claim similar criminal behavior by this dude. I’m generally not a believer in coincidence, and I’m not starting to do it on this one. How long before the Dodgers cut this guy loose, and void his contract via claim for violation of the morals clause?…

We could use him!
We already had “The Groper”
There’s a precedent!
Longoria is up, playing 3rd tonight…
“the club activated left-handed pitcher Sammy Long to start against the Rockies while optioning infielder Thairo Estrada to Triple-A Sacramento. Reliever Jay Jackson was placed on the injured list with no designation, but the Giants said he is experiencing side effects after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine shot.”
Pre-game convo on radio including Kerry Crowley, apparently seeing Jackson in a good mood in the dugout, strongly suggested the Jackson move has, what one might call, dubious veracity. Giants FO guys are experts at using the rules for making their many roster moves…
Yeah, possibly creative rostering.
1. Austin Slater (R) CF
2. Kris Bryant (R) RF
3. Buster Posey (R) C
4. Darin Ruf (R) LF
5. Evan Longoria (R) 3B
6. Brandon Crawford (L) SS
7. Wilmer Flores (R) 1B
8. Donovan Solano (R) 2B
9. Sammy Long (L) P
Mets/Dodgers on the MLB Network. I don’t know who the analyst is, but he’s doing a good job. The play by play, on the other hand, is Costas, and that is not awesome.
Go Giants! Enjoy the Flapploza!! I’ll be at the park on sat of labor day weekend for the 1st time in 3 years. Can’t wait!
Long is one of those “agony pitchers.”
Good 3-2 pitch to Blackmon.
Long won’t last long tonight. Will Longo go long? I’d love that. The Giants bench extends to Sacramento and their W/L record is astonishing.
Also, this Trey Lance guy, he looks talented.
80 yard bomb by Trey Lance puts a smile on my face!
This kid is the real deal!!
Hasn’t Longo figured out that you run out pop ups?
Krukow said “Longoria was missed.”
Is that even really true?
The W-L record without him might be the answer…
He would still say that about Mike Tauchman, that’s just Krukow, he says that about everybody..
On that foul ball by Solano to deep right, I replayed and froze the picture to look for the Flappers; but the freeze-frame was just a little too blurry to see individuals well.
Maybe they were ejected already…
lulz!
Wouldn’t put it pass them, their still nice pubs around there..
Isn’t section 151 Arcade just to the right of the foul pole?
You know what would be cool seats too is that little enclosed lower field area arch /brick spot just in foul territory, maybe holds 10-12?flap knuckleheads..
See my 12:29 Kat…
Oh my bad I missed that post Loo.
Still whatever that cut out area down low
inside the bricks 🧱 by the right of the 309 foul pole probably has cocktail service case they have tables and chairs in it..
Padres no hit…
Over the years, Longoria’s numbers have been fine, I guess. But I can’t think of any other somewhat significant player that has come aboard and made absolutely no difference to the team. Didn’t make it worse, but also did nothing to make it better. Loo’s 6:50 is spot on. Missed him? Didnt really even notice he was gone. And ‘over the years’, I don’t even know how many years he’s been here, maybe because it often seems like he isn’t. Maybe it’s just me, but I wish Longo was long-gone. This team doesn’t need him. Now that he’s back, maybe he’ll *put up good numbers” and contribute, that would be a good thing. But if he doesn’t, he’ll just be taking at-bats from others who have been performing well and, indeed, making the team better.
Longo’s ops going into tonight was .892 — close to MVP candidate Crawford’s .904. He’s solid at 3B. Bryant is better, I’d say. But Flores et al are not. I hope he can regain his great start for the stretch.
My only reason for wanting Longo in is to get Dick out.
No help again from the over-rated Mets.
They’re pretty banged up…
I just don’t get runnners not tagging on plays like that. An obvious can of corn and the runner goes 1/4 down the line.
Agree, Xoot, Longo’s numbers indeed have been fine. I just have no sense that he makes the team better. The players like Flores ‘et al’ don’t have his numbers, yet they all have made this team better. It’s just my sense of it, even if it doesn’t make any sense….
He make big bucks for the stuff he did for another team.
Recipe for resentment…
Yes, maybe. Hey, I’m not pulling for him to fail; he’s rested, he could come on like gang-busters and play at MVP level the rest of the way, which would of course be a good thing and, one would think, make the team better. I’ll be happy to be wrong.
It ain’t even that. He’s just a nothingburger.
He’s a pretty solid pro – just nothing compelling about him…
well, he’s definitely not as entertaining in the field as Donnie Bobbles, Dick, or Ruf.
Not with us. He’s entering belt territory of being a hot tub queen,
God forbid an adult catches a foul ball and doesn’t give it to some unknown kid.
What if someone wants to bring it home to their own kid?
They’re a fuckin villain?
I ever get one, I’m keeping it.
Littell the new Petit?
Litit?
That’s hysterical. Both umps got their calls wrong..
Hope our pals are drinking heavily through this stinker…
I can’t stand Muncy, but last night I was on his side after a total idiot Mets fan pointed a green laser in his eyes / face in a critical spot in the game.Real bush league behavior and they could not figure out who it was..
Maybe it was a Giant fan…
that’s a hell of a laser..
