    Yeah easily seeing the DH rule next year.Posey can ketch part and DH as well
    while still mentoring Bart who’s will be the backup.Works real good and there’s still plenty of DH time for others as this team is loaded with candidates.. I would guess a contract similar to Crawford’s extension will get it done.

    Definitely gonna have to re-think my stance on Posey’s HOF credentials.
    I thought he had no shot before this season – always comparing him to Munson.
    May turn out to be a first ballot guy…

      I don’t think there’s any question Posey makes the Hall. This year (and whatever, if any, remaining years) solidified that. Justified or not, longevity is a factor.

      Hernandez is right about Yaz’ swing, I always thought it was a bit of an over-swing, though “violent” hadn’t crossed my mind…

      Hernandez says Yaz has always had a “violent” swing, but this year he’s chasing pitches unlike his first two seasons…

    Yep. Longo is just another guy who can’t stay off the IL for any meaningful length of time. Sure, I’d rather have him than Dick in there, but if you are in there make some hard contact. Just hit the fucking ball.
