When was the last time a Bay Bridge Series meant this much to both teams? Giants 2.5 up, A’s 2.5 back. The Dodgers are going to win at a minimum .625 clip the rest of the way, probably more. All we can do is win and let the chips fall where they may.

Dubon may be in mourning for getting sent down.

His stats didn’t support it, for sure. His WAR was 2.4; Yaz’ was 12.4
But, I don’t think much of baseball writers; their HOF votes now are a joke, too.
BTW, Cepeda got all 20 votes that year for the MVP, with less impressive stats (WAR 6.8) compared to Yaz.

Brief in-game break for a quick clusterfuck update from over here: After 3 months of basically house arrest, it gets worse. Tomorrow begins 24-hour curfew for the next 2 weeks, no one can leave their house even to take out the trash. There are pics of army guys walking around fully clothed in those blue anti-Covid outfits from head to toe… carrying automatic military weapons. I’d never seen anything like that before. Haha, let’s see anyone violate those curfew hours now! Good thing is, the guns are probably not loaded…… Carry on.
