Coming Up All Sevens and Twos
We win 7-2. LA loses 7-2. And we’re up 2 with 7 to play.
I can’t BELIEVE we got help from Arizona. Today we’re all in on someone named Humberto.
Gasman goes for us……
Niner game not till tonight so all knowing dude head nods need to be pointed towards Nepal in perfect harmony….
I fucking love double plays.
Castro and Dovall, and that’s ALL ! …
👍
Ballgame! 🧹🧹🧹
How bout these guys?
Yes! Coors sweep!
ha down to 5.
Eat it, Doghairs !!! …
And off to home we go! Castro, another fine young arm. The future is bright!
Big time win, hopefully not a costly win and Belt is back soon.
Pray for Belt.
And Andy Reid who left Arrowhead in an ambulance…
What? What happened? I was watching the last part of that game and didn’t notice anything amiss.
He felt ill after the game.
Hopefully just precautionary per reports…
News says he was “feeling ill” but should be OK.
First ever 6 game winning streak at Coors, a traditional nightmare for the Giants. Way to go boys!
Fingers crossed for Belt.
Otherwise, this sweep of Rockies is nothing but awesome and memorable as a clutch job of the highest order at crunch time.
Giants have won 6 straight at crunch time vs. Rocks.
I’ve loved comic strips since I was a kid, but don’t remember that one. Must not have been syndicated out west. Regardless, Hapless Harry it is! LOL
Double your pleasure double your fun with 2 straight sweeps 🧹 and a pack of juicy fruit gum!!
Yeah, hopefully BB9 just bruised his thumb. The fact he stayed in the game to run is at least encouraging. The last thing they need is to lose him. Huge hole to fill, at the bat and in the field.
This is the kind of season that makes a fan forget about the dogscheise 2017-2019 debacle…
The group formerly known as the Bore Core weren’t all that good in that stretch. Their revival this season has been an amazing thing to see.
102 wins with the D-Backs coming to town. Jesus H. Christ, that is flat out unbelievable. One more to tie that great ’93 team.
The Niners could cap a marvelous Sunday with a nice win over the Packers tonight.
Gotta hand it to the SabeEvans regime — they signed Doval and Castro, both in 2015.
But, they’ve been nurtured and developed mostly under the Farhan regime…
The East coast media bias is mainly because so many of that media don’t stay up late to watch the West coast games. They’ve basically missed a lot of what Craw does for the team on a daily basis.
Nowhere to be found – regardless of any bias…

Fins tie it up.
Niners getting some help by Vikes vs. seachickens.
How can something like this happen?

Belt’s X-rays inconclusive per Slush.
I may throw up…
Although Dr. Brandon Crawford apparently thinks he’ll be ok…
Well, he had some kind of scan.
Will get x-rayed back in SF.
I still don’t like it…
I’m glad Craw thinks he’ll be OK, but what does inconclusive even mean. It’s a thumb, not brain surgery.
I think Slush might have inaccurately called it an x-ray.
He had something called a fluoroscan in Denver.
No idea WTF that is…
Yeah, Baggs said it was a scan, not an x-ray.
It’s incredibly easy to second-guess Belt on that bunt attempt; but oh well, let’s hope for the best.
Up by one run in the 8th inning, at Coors Fiield, and the team’s HR leader tries to bunt for a hit. Go figure.
It was an aborted bunt attempt. The inability to get out the way of an obviously unbuntable pitch was the problem.
I don’t see how that disagrees with what I said.
I’m not disagreeing with you. I think you focused on Belt’s decision to try to bunt and I focused on his sloppy bat work after he half-squared to, but then decided not to, bunt. But we were writing about the same play.
Apparently they’re a type of x-ray:
“Fluoroscans are advantageous for their low radiation, maneuverability and immediate images making them especially useful for radiography in children and extremities. Fluoroscans are also relatively safe as there is essentially no “scatter” of radiation outside of the exposure field. Orthopedic surgeons and other physicians are not only able to assess whether any structural impairments exist to the anatomy, but also to evaluate the body part’s mobility and function during movement (3).
At Pacific Coast Sports Medicine, fluoroscans enable physicians and patients to view immediate, high-quality, low radiation images of internal body structures. Thanks to innovative image processing, fluoroscans produce distortion-free fluoroscopies by adjusting the X-ray dosage to a minimum, reducing motion blur, and compensating for metal objects, such as screws and intramedullary rods.”
Well, whatever all that means, I don’t feel too good about it.
And he should’ve come out immediately to have it iced regardless of anything.
Total incompetence…
Ah, an x-ray takes photos basically, the scan doesn’t.
“Fluoroscopy is a type of medical imaging that shows a continuous X-ray image on a monitor, much like an X-ray movie. During a fluoroscopy procedure, an X-ray beam is passed through the body.”
that’s fucking hilarious: Al Michaels couldn’t remember the ref signal for illegal (or ineligible, or whatever) man downfield. He’s turned into a mere talking head, dependent on aides and tech.
Without DBs or RBs or a competent QB, what chances do the 9ers frontlines have? Lance? Third game of the season doesn’t seem like the right time to gamble with what looks like a losing hand. Maybe Jimmy will revive.
I think it’s his last season, Xoot.
Really felt sorry for Miller trying to call the game off the monitor today.
So much he couldn’t see and he let it be known in his always pleasant way.
Why the hell can’t broadcasters go on the road?
What damn difference does it make to anyone’s safety?
Morons everywhere!
I hate this fuckin planet!
Go Giants!!!
Football related question to Flappers who like and follow football more than I do: back around NFL draft day, ya’ll were discussing which QB the Niners should choose, and I think there were 4 or 5 taken in that first round. MacJones was one, your Trey Lance another, don’t remember the others. Just wondering now a few games into the season, how’s it looking for those QBs, and are you still happy SF chose Lance?
Trevor Lawrence (Jags) and Zach Wilson (Jets) are both 0-3. Mac Jones (Pats) is 1-2, the win vs. Jets. Justin Fields (Bears) made his 1st start today and lost to Browns, who held Beara to something like 47 total yards. I’ll leave Lance to the Niners fans here as Jimmy G just had a big turnover vs. Packers.
Ask the jets. Zack Wilson is struggling mightily. Mac Jones is not doing too well either. Fields got killed today. Lance has like 8 plays with a TD run and. a TD pass.
They were the main QBs drafted
Thanks for the QB insights. That means the new class is 1-9 with one not having played much yet. Not an automatic jump to the NFL, is it. I saw Jones’ highlights the first couple of weeks and he looked promising, but Patriots have other problems across the board. Brady goes back to Foxboro next week. Bucs are gonna kill the Pats…..
Zack is starting as is Mac Jones. Fields is now starting with the dalton injury. Lance is the only one not starting now
What I meant to say is Wilson and Jones have been starting every game for their teams. Fields got his first start today.
I’m very happy we chose Lance. He was the the I wanted draft day. Wilson should be solid Jones I was never sold on. Fields I just don’t know. But throwing these guys in with no prep can really derail their careers.
Keep forgetting about Lawrence. He’s struggling as well. 0-3 with the Jags
Haven’t seen Lawrence play tho. Fields was just crushed all day by the rush he was under
Painful Niner loss:(
Go Giants!!
