I still haven’t thought about the World Series for one second. To me, this is bigger. This is like the Galaxy Series. I genuinely won’t sweat anything that happens the rest of this post season as long as we get this game tonight.
And if we lose? Hey, that’s ok too. We let it ride trying to pull down the ultimate prize. I’m thankful we got the opportunity to do so.
We faced 6 elimination games on our way to winning the NL pennant in 2012. The Giants can do anything with the magic of that uniform strapped on. It glows off them towards all of us. There is nothing more magical as a sports fan, to me, than being a Giants fan.
We got this.

Fantastic season with a sour ending. bad call hurts, but ultimately we lost because we only scored 6 runs in the last 4 games. Fuck
Eventually, the dependence on the HR hurt.
They weren’t hitting the dingers, and just can’t score without them.
They missed Belt in this series.
But, LA was w/out Muncy…

4. Doval — from nowhere to stud, despite tonight. Ahead in the closer race next spring
5. Belt – his best season, maybe his last in SF, in between IL stints
6. Kap and the whole coaching staff
7. Farhan and FO for putting this crazy season together …
What could be called the most important game in MLB history, at least in the last 60 years, is decided by a blown check swing call? Way to seize the moment, blue. Fucking horrific. These umps were fucking terrible across the board for this whole series. Urias was getting an extra 3″ around the plate. all night.

This reminds me of the Dubs 73 win season, which they couldn’t finish off.
Except it was no surprise they made the finals, unlike here, where SF in post season was a complete, astounding surprise.

There were so many bad called strikes. With that said, the Giants did have chances.
I can’t be upset at all with this team, no matter how bitter the ending. They gave us a tremendous season, completely unexpected, and gave those a-holes from LA, with their star power and bloated payroll, all they could handle right to the very end. A tip of my three Giants World Series caps to everyone involved who made this unbelievable season possible..
I don;t think I’m gonna watch any more of this. Other than to hope the fucking Braves do what we couldn’t.

Giants had their chance, but could not capitalize. I though the strike two pitch from Scherzer to Wade was one Wade could have driven.
Regardless, I am proud as fuck of this team and am grateful for this unexpected gem of a season. I truly cannot wait for spring training. 2022! 🧡⚾️🖤💪🏼

Hear hear. There has always been an unwritten rule in baseball that games should not end on a check swing call. Unless it is entirely blatant.
This is magnified 1000% when it is a playoff elimination game.
