I’m all for shit talking at a game but it’s got to be funny and clever. Good natured. It can’t cross a line. If you wouldn’t say it to the player’s face on the street then you shouldn’t say it from your seats. I’ve always supported the Joc pick up even suggesting they make the move a week before it happened. And the bombs have been easy to like. But yesterday was the first time I’ve ever actually liked that ass hat. Having to listen to vile shit about your family spewed from some Milwaukee country bumpkin is not something any ball player should have to put up with.

Wrapping It
Down by a run and one measly single against one of the best five, or certainly ten pitchers in MLB, the Giants did what they do best…hang on in there, fouling off pitch after pitch and getting the opposing starter to throw so many pitches that a bunch of them were off the plate. At a bit past a hundred pitches Burnes started to flag. Bottom of the order guy gets on with two down and up to the plate steps Joctivities, who promptly gets heckled by a Brewed up homeboy and promptly eJoculates a hard and long one. Giants up 2-1. Yeah, it can happen that fast. Bottom of the inning with McGee having retired the first two, Adames hits a mistake and the game gets tied.
Top of the 9th and two outs and Milwaukee’s reliever makes his first mistake. Runner on first. Up to the plate strides yet another of Zaidi’s dumpster-dives and Luis crushes one…4-2 Giants. They sometimes have a habit of coming at you totally out of no-where. Were the game being held in SF, it would have been a walk-off. But the game-winning hit being your first homer in MLB is even more special than than your traditional walk-off. Style, baby. This one looks like a keeper. Seems like Gonzales has found his home. He may be no Suzuki, but he got the job done, enabling an almost incredible 8-3 road-trip.
LaBumbos are looking over their shoulders again. All the money in the world cannot top all for one and one for all team spirit. Giants now have the distinction of being in the highest brackets in both homers and RBI’s. Offense today simply hung tough against one very formidable starter. Burnes vs. Long looked like a total no-brainer…on paper.
At this point of the young season SF has the most effective bullpen in the game…intriguingly, a lot of them being dumpster-dives. They were air-tight before McGee gave up that dinger in the bottom of the 8th. When the Giants offense got at their set-up man, the Brewskis were left hanging there down by two and our hitters never had to face Josh Hader, their closer. Ours, still a bit green, but with tons of promise, simply got the job done. Face their ace with a succession of relievers, who were with one exception, simply air-tight, may well become yet another template installed by Mr. Z and his many able enablers. Jeeze, down two-fifths of the rotation and a third of the projected position-players; San Francisco’s Giants are proving that being the NLW champs may not have been a fluke.
Lurking on the Flap, I noted the shot from Mel’s Diner. So we get Theiro and Luis combining for an excellent diving catch and the game-winner. Hollywood could not have come up with today’s script. With eJoculation Grande having premiered with the LaBumbos; they gotta be shaking their heads about letting that one go. High drama and a bit of ironic comedy and the Giants win again.
Gotta love em. Here’s the kicker: Check out the stats on the MLB site. Only Rodon is in the top brackets among individual players. But when it comes to team stats, the pitchers are at the pinnacle for giving up fewest home-runs and the batters are peaking for both homers and RBI’s. Teamwork. That’s the formula. With all those Googenheimer bucks; the LaLaLanders are already sweating little green B-B’s.
A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball 
Feel good W for sure. Giants got shutout for first 7 innings, Leone made costly error that cost them a run, they got only 6 hits entire game, and pulled out a pen game. Long was impressive, works quickly and brings some heat.
Gotta love the way we played yesterday’s game. Just like last year players step up when least expected. We have a pretty good mix of young players and vets. Z does seem to know his stuff.

Joc Pederson leading the Major Leagues in HR’s with 7! Doubt anyone expected that power surge out of the gate.But he’s definitely locked in, just curious if maybe are underrated hitting coaches have anything to do with it?
El Hockabo Gonzalez was something special for the dramatics last night , 2 outs 2 strikes bomb for the win, he should of made the roster out of ST, he was raking the ball even then,but he had options, so the Giants decided to keep 3 useless players with no options instead in GD,Beede and Dubon.
Atleast with GD now they don’t have to and we don’t have to bother with him for 2 months plus.Funny thing he wouldn’t of hurt his oblique except he swung at a pitch instead of his customary take strike 3 down the middle of the plate.Won’t be a problem with El Hockabo he’s an aggressive hitter,a good fielder with even a stronger arm then Duggarless. Kid is are new Wade pickup for this year and I’m looking forward to more clutch AB’s from him
i knew Joc would rake I just thought he wouldn’t get enough at bats to ever lead MLB in bombs. In fact, he got yanked earlier in the year during a game (and after he hit a bomb) just cause the opposing manager called for a lefty (who he then promptly pulled back once Kap announced a RH hitter).
He doesn’t hit cheapies either.

Great win yesterday against a solid Milwuakee club who started their ace. Our bullpen did it again. Kept the boys close so they could work some late-inning magic. GONEzalez hit the 2 run bomb in the 9th to put us up, and Doval came in and closed the door.

Any time the subject of Ruf comes up Kapler always has a glowing respect for him.Think it’s because they both hit hard times eventually ending up in Japan at different times.Ruf got his act together made it back and Kapler’s had his back ever since.Kapler will continue to give him leash,that’s just how he rolls with a struggling player to get them out of a funk(he does have 11 walks so he’s not useless)he does that with Yaz too,it might not always seem the right thing to do, but 12-5 says wtf do any of us know?

Why aren’t you advocating for Wilmer at 3? Thairo has 10 RBI’s, but isn’t really hitting all that well. I like Estrada, but I wouldn’t bet his numbers will be better than Ruf’s by the end of the year.
I like Mr. Ed where he is, plus he can’t run.

The A’s have looked better than anyone else so far against Rodon. Maybe they are a second-rate pseudo-Farhan team.
they had an approach to the FB, fouling it off a lot & they ran on Rodon and Bart for one run & a high pitch count. Ok. They also jammed Wilmer inside, constantly, even after he boomed the double early. The a’s have some intelligence, but it’s not integrated. Look at the team websites. The Giants have always had twice as many people in the FO and more coaches, but these days the difference is astounding. The Giants’ payroll is not only on the playing field.
Bart really does not look like a major league hitter. Maybe it’ll start clicking in a month or so.
What’s the move if he continues to flounder?

his arm is looking slack, too, although running on Rodon is not difficult. But at least two of his recent throws to 2B, one in DC, I think, have tailed away because of a sidearm release and sped disastrously into CF. He needs a couple of days off to spend blocking balls in the dirt and throwing to 2B in the morning and facing hi velo FBs and nasty breaking balls in the cage during the games.
I think that all tat would do is short circuit Bart even more.
