Losing At Everything
NBA has gotten so tough to watch with all this over-officiating. I’m sure they’re trying their best but the rules have gotten too cumbersome. Still, Klay going 2-12 from 3land is going to be tough to overcome. And 18% as a team is cashed in for *get what you pay for*.
Speaking of “getting what you pay for”, it’s no surprise we lost with that anemic line up. There’s only so much Brebbia aisle you can fit into one store. It was just an awful group of hitters from start to finish.

Not to beat a dead horse but wouldn’t have been nice to have Suzuki instead of the latest AAA Mariner. Why not have Ramos up???
GH, Ramos struggling at Sac. He’s hitting only .213 with OPS of .651. 3 extra base hits and 2 HRs in 75 ABs, and this is in hitter friendly league. Scores of their last couple games were 14-11 and 16-8, but he wasn’t doing much. Not good sign. The new guy Padlo hit 3 HRs in one recent Sac game alone.
I think we have to see what he can do in the big leagues and either he rises to the top or sinks.
Re Warriors and GPII now with a fractured elbow changes everything. Can Moody come on and give us some good defensive minutes on Ja? But I have said all year try at I am not sure Kerr is totally locked in. That was a clear goaltending late on the curry shot and they fine even challenge it??? Think they were down just one then just over a minute. There was 13 seconds on shot clock and could have set up a much better play than Klay forcing one last second.
Losing Payton definitely messes up Kerr’s plans which didn’t include much D Lee., He’s best defender among guards by far. Guy that hurt GS beside Morant was Stanford one and done, Ziaire Williams. Hit some timely 3s and grabbed an offensive board at end that helped them run clock down. No he can’t guard Curry but Steph (like Klay and Poole) didn’t shoot well either. Williams came off bench and hit 4 x 3s. Warriors top 3 guards hit 6 total all game.
Looks like Dogs will start RHP Gonsolin tonight. SF might have Yaz and Wade Jr back in the lineup according to Baggs, and maybe Belt soon as well once he passes tests and is out of Covid.
LaStella and Longoria played rehab games for Sac last night.

Curry got hit in the head on a rebound and was knocked into the 2nd row of seats a couple times and no fouls were called. Draymond’s elbow to the eye drew no foul, but lay a finger on Ja and he’s at the line. The foul on Draymond/ Ja on the loose ball was utter stupidity.
Morant was simply SPECTACULAR last night 47 points 18 in the 4th quarter I was just in awe on how many tough in your face clutch shots he threw down.Now I can see the perspective of fans from other teams when Curry methodically puts a dagger to in their hearts!
Still the Warriors got the split on the road and that’s all you really want and we’re definitely in this game as well till the end, so I expect them to take care of business at home..

We need to start hitting/grabbing Morant. Give him the Steph treatment off the ball. Send JTA after him. Fuck this. If they are gonna try to thug their way through this, we need to step up our game.

GS did lose some categories in box score that do matter, in addition to shooting really poorly from 3.
They had fewer steals and blocks than Griz, plus more turnovers. Curry and Thompson took some ill advised rushed shots, and both had late game turnovers that cost possessions. Gotta be smarter with ball.
Dray has been making a lot of ill-advised passes. As Steph is wont to do as well. He had 5 turnovers in the first half of the game he was tossed from. It may have been a blessing in disguise.
They live and die from turnovers. I am flat amazed that they are winning the rebounding battle. But their abysmal shooting did them in. And the refs were flat awful yet again. You can’t make a call on a loose ball like that. There was no clear foul as Dray and Ja were going for the ball. As it was it led to a 3 pointer for Memphis when it should have been our ball and no call. Game over, man.

He was upset with home plate ump of call he didn’t get. Batter flied out to RF to end inning, then 1b ump checked his hands as he was walking off. bum then said something to him as he was leaving and was thrown out, continued arguing and had to be restrained. Mgr. Lovulo came out and got into it with both home plate and 1b ump. More to come on this one for sure.
The footage of that is weird. The ump is rubbing Bummies hands while staring him down. For like 20 seconds. Bummie finally looks up and then reacts.
Maybe not 20 but the ump is doing something weird.
Ump should never ask for a hand job to Bumgarner if he knows what’s good for him..

Bum’s only given up 3 earned runs in 23 innings so far. Has walked 11 guys but allowed 15 hits/2 bombs.
