Yeah that was the most asinine decision by Kapler.You have a Bart at 3rd a freaking catcher ( avg speed at best) you send Joc when Molina is already standing up knowing the play(a modified pitchout, but just stands up, U think your going to fool a Catcher who’s been in the league since we landed on the moon? Taking the bat out of Yaz there who’s been hot lately was just dumb way to end the inning!!
Another thing that ticked me off and I commented on it in yesterdays post.., Down 2-0 top of the 7th first and second with John Boy Walton ( hustle double earlier in inning and is fast) one out base hit by Wade to center and he’s held up?? No replay on his jump, Loo mentioned Lopez said he froze first to make sure it went thru, on tv it looked like a clean hit, but whatever it’s his 1st game up, so I guess u give him the benefit of the doubt obviously the 3rd base coach did,and if he cuts it to 2-1 still only one out it changes the whole inning imo..So it just loads them up, and of course on cue Belt hits a Taylor Made DP ball inning over, no score , more dumb baseball…
