A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball 
Command. Out of Giants 5 most used relievers, he has given up most walks except for Leone. He and Brebbia have pitched same number of innings, yet Doval has walked 10 more guys, and given up same number of bombs, only 4. Was awesome yesterday vs. Braves.
Funny too that as much as we make fun of him, Brebbia has very close ERA FIP and WHIP as Doval does. Gives up more hits and Ks way less hitters, but still.
Yeah it’s definitely the command that holds Doval back.He’s got the 100 mph fastball that I feel he needs to use more than his slider that he gets over dependent on using. I thought he was once working on a sinker? He could really use a 3rd pitch added to his stuff. something he should work hard on developing next year.
Brebbia Aisle really turned out to be a great pickup even with are bashing at times.Doesn’t he lead all relievers in baseball with appearances? He’s been an Ironman with steady stuff all season.Only one of the 3 bearded guys ( Leone&kick him in the ass Littell) that was effective!
Just got sick and tired of seeing those 3 out there, but Brebbia proved me wrong and should be back next season In hopefully a new revamped with some hard throwers like Dabovich&Waites added at the minimum..
Kruk has talked about Doval using I think new version fastball with 2 seam movement that runs away from LHs and in on RHs.
Splits are very telling, as LHs have given him lot more problems. Check out 2022,:

also LHs have hit 3 of the 4 HRs he’s given up. Brisbee in Athletic did post something about how slowly he works, and wonders if new pitch clock might have negative affect. I’ve read other comments about how guys who throw harder, relievers especially, need more time btw pitches. We’ll see I guess.

I’m now in WA state, up north on the Kitsap peninsula near Silverdale.
Settling in, dealing with all the BS resulting from a move. All services are now controlled by computer and online — if you want something done or someone to come out to your house to do something, you have to work hard to talk to a human! It’s crazy. Nobody does anything anymore — it’s complete bullshit and frustrating as hell. I haven’t followed the Giants in at least 2 weeks, I assume they’re up and down as usual…
my favorite is if you’re getting online support and they offer you 3 topics and your topic doesn’t come anywhere close to that. There’s no way to just say “customer service” or “operator” over and over to get transferred. It’s fucking lame.

Thanks Loo, but I was pretty stupid on this one. I put two of the letters in the same wrong order a couple of times and by luck, I didn’t put in the most obvious (wrong) word.
Got it in 4. Lucky opening guess containing three of the letters out of order, which in this case meant they more or less had to occupy the first 3 letters of the word in a specific order. After guessing 2 normal words, I had no other choice but the awkward solution. I’ve never before seen Wordlebot show the average number of guesses exceed 6. Nothing even close to that level of mass failure.
