I am simply astounded at how bad Russell Wilson has gotten seemingly overnight. And fans will turn quickly against him. He’s got probably the fakest personality in the league. If he’s going to suck too, man, he ain’t gonna stand a chance in that town.

I think Pete Carroll started to see the fall off from Russell Wilson two seasons ago and was convinced of it last year.
Well, the head coach (Montana’s QB coach’s son) bears a lot of blame for simply not running the clock down and kicking the FG. But yeah, Wilson was not hitting the deep passes nearly like he was a few seasons ago. Yet another fail for ol’ horseface. It amazes me how long they are putting up with Elway being a terrible GM.

Cleveland made the playoffs, and I can name one player on their team. Can I name any Seattle players? I’ll have to think about it.
So far it looks like the Bronco’s took it up the shorts on the Wilson trade. There was an article in the Athletic this morning saying it was the worse game in nfl history. Seattle must be laughing all the way to the bank.
According to B/R, top 5 teams NL for lowest runs against were Dogs Mets Braves Pads and Cards. Giants lose Rodon, as I suspect they will, ain’t gonna be easier to get into that group. And of course among ML worst for unearned runs allowed.
Hope by watching what playoff teams look like, Z gets better idea of how to get SF in there.
Top 5 AL lowest runs against—Houston Yanks Rays Tampa Cleveland.
No one on Tampa hit more than 20 HRs and only 3 players even got into double figures. Yet they still won 86 games.
TB and Cleveland both pitching-D-speed teams. Could that work for Giants, at the O? More Thairo Estrada like players on roster?

That Warriors practice video is pretty depressing. The behavior seems so pointless.
Just seeing the Draymond cheap sucker punch of Poole video. I said Dray crossed the line with KD and if KD had stood up to him as Poole did, Dray would have dropped KD then imagine how much of a punch KD could have taken and what that would have done to the team. If he had done that to KD I would have suspended him for the remainder of that year and think if the Warriors don’t give him something like 30 days then there is no true accountability for an atrocious act. I think no no way I extend him now…give Poole his extension as a slap at Draymond.

I said yesterday that it’s likely we don’t extend him next year mainly because of his age and durability. Nothing has really changed.
If he comes out and plays 65-70 games and provides stellar defense, hey maybe they do give him a big deal. Max? No way. They’ll let him walk.

One thing if you have guys scrape in your clubhouse practice field/court. And I will say it was a sucker punch because Poole obviously was defenseless did not think Dray would take it there. If they don’t give him a significant penalty will be a question of who really is in charge of this team. Poole probably was knocked out with that punch.

Yeah, me too. Mebbe $100k? This is kinda like the Ray Rice thing. Talking about the punch is one thing, but seeing it is different. And they WERE face to face, GH. This happens ALL THE TIME in locker rooms. From grade school to high school to college to the pros. Remember when Steve Kerr got a black eye from Michael Jordan? No one is condoning this, but it happens. Kerr said, “the fight brought us closer together”. Kerr said “In a weird way it was the best thing I ever did”.
I just want to hear what Poole has to say about it. The radio blabbers are painting this as some kind of monstrous disaster for Draymond. Whatevs. More of the pussification of the country. If this was 30 years ago, NO ONE bats an eye.
Dray didn’t hit a woman. He didn’t strangle a coach. He hit a player that was standing right in front of him. Facing him. If Poole was unprepared, well, them’s the breaks. They both were involved right before the punch.
Again, I’m mainly surprised how quick that shot was. Draymond is no one to fuck with. And my daughter said he was the sweetest guy. She put him up in his apartment right before his first kid was born.
If it’s any harbinger, the Bulls went 72-10 that season and won it all.

Zaidi saying G’s will be very active this postseason, laying out a roadmap for making the team younger and more athletic. Also talks about Crawford and bringing back Longo and Belt, which would seem to counter that first bit. He’s done ok bringing in arms (Rodon, Cobb, Wood) but hasn’t yet made a good haul on position players in the offseason. Guess we’ll see.

Cheap shot imo. Poole had his hands down because green initiated the whole thing. Walked over to Poole and by going chest to chest. ANYONE would have pushed a man away when he does that. To step back in with a teammate and hit him is punk ass. I loved what Dray has done for the Dubs, but no way they sign him now…

Just skimmed the pitching stats. LA a full run better in ERA but gave up 20 more home runs than SF. Why? SF 23rd in MLB for hits allowed. LA 2.80, Houston 2.90 tear ERA. 3rd is the Yank’s all the way at 3.30. That’s a big gap!
Yes, big gap. Plus all the unearned runs Giants gave up with shoddy defense. I think they were 5th NL in ERA, but 9th for runs given up. With lack of power in offense, runs against can’t be 9th and hope to be top 6 team and make playoffs.

Agree with Unc, sucks a playoff team’s fans get zero home games in 3 game WC. I get MLB trying to cut down travel and squeeze games into short a window as possible.
