Only thing there is to say about that Ray move in the 9th is that if you’re gonna do that it had BETTER work. He’d come in as a reliever 1 time in 10 years. Unacceptable. And it’s not like they were bringing in prime MadBum. Ray got lit up last week by Toronto.

I don’t know, managers outthink themselves sometimes. They all want to be Bruce Bochy.

We’ll see how Roberts does with his new look pen. Last night 4 shutout innings after Urias left, from Phillips Vesia Graterol and Chris Martin. At least Pads made some noise vs. Urias, but it was mostly bottom of order. Top 4 guys plus Bell who didn’t start vs. lefty were 1-15 all game, bottom 5-9 went 6-17 with Myers HR.

Hope you are right Loo. Maybe Dogs LH heavy rotation has some problems with Braves RH power (if they get that far), especially in that hitter friendly yard they play in.
LF corner at Latrine has always been cheapo bomb too.

Yeah, he’d be good with Nimmo and Rodon. Throw in Turner and there you have it. Some respectability.

Mike Easler was awesome.
Bell had up/down year, most of the up part coming with Nats.
103 games 14 HRs 41 XBHs .301 BA .875 OPS.
SD: 53 games 3 HRs 8 XBHs (175 ABs) .192 BA .587 OPS.
Last months of season, Sept/Oct. he had 1 double and 1 HR in 85 ABs. hmmnn
Sounds like he dug hitting lot better in warm weather East than on left coast. And I can’t think of yard whose summer more unlike hot humid East Coast than the O.

The Soto thing is weird. I dunno, maybe mid season change all the way across country was hard on him. I’d expect he’ll be fine next year. He’s too good to be a bust
