A lot of us here saw Rodon as a big time risk in a LT deal, and apparently so did the Giants brain trust…
Before he got hot, Conforto had 1-17 stretch this month at home. Last homestand he was 6-19.
4 of the 6 bombs in May hit on road, 2 in AZ 2 in Minn.
For the season, .182 at home with OPS of .588, 3 HRs no doubles in 77 ABs.
Road hitting .261, OPS is .971 w/10 XBHs (7 HRs 3 doubles) in 69 ABs.

Crappy defense 3 errors and they left a season high 15 runners OB and scored just one run with 10 hits just terrible 😣
True that, Kat. The 3 errors plus some whiffs not counted as errors and a return of the old, cursed bases loaded with no outs. A game to forget about for sure.

The one AB that pissed me off: Conforto refusing to take a walk on 7 pitches well out of the zone, and then popping up the lone off speed strike. Be Barry Bonds those times you can be.
I look at the defensive metrics that “go beyond ”fielding percentage, and still see wild fluctuations from one year to the next with the team stats, even when rosters haven’t changed that much. I think the 2022 defensive stats that made Pederson look like the slowest, goofiest clodhopper to ever play LF are suspect. That’s not what I saw. Hey, I’m using the eye test!

I refuse to pay for nyt games or x words. But wordle is free and that bee game is too for as long as it takes to hit the pangram. That’s enough.
Maybe the food and water gave them gut problems. TBone and the D sure were shitty, the clutch hitting shittier. But once again they took a series vs a good team. Well, vs another .500 team. I am a bit concerned by Schmitt’s inability to catch up to Duran’s 104 above the zone for the final out. My gawd.
They should’ve come to the game today by federal helicopter…
