Well, he threw Aaron the one pitch he can handle right now. What a terrible pitch…
Once again, the miracle that was Bonds… when that Huff drive doesn’t get out and fucking DUNN can’t get ’em out there…

Speaking of Bonds- I once stood on that wall in rightfield during batting practice and thought I’d try to catch a Bonds ball (I had my glove with me.)
Man, he was hitting some rockets. Vicious twisting laser beams that I was glad weren’t getting too close to me. I was thinking- be careful what you wished for.

Speaking of whether to go after the 8th hitter or not in those situations with two outs and runners on the bases….I just think sometimes the manager gets seduced by that idea of “if we get this guy out, the pitcher leads off the next inning and messes that inning up a bit.”

    Burrell 0 for 2 but 2 sacrifice flies. Bumgarner 6 5 3 2 3 3…

I sure hope he comes through big time when he shows up. Just coming off the bench would be a big help with all the tight games. Bochy will know what to do with him.

Huff needs to stop all that head shaking 5 mins after it happened. He popped an inside the park HR earlier in the year in the same park in the same direction. He signed to play here, everyone knows the fucking dimensions. If you’re a lefty, take your $ and do your best. He’s had a good year but that drawn out hatin’ shit got old for me…….

Definitely, zum…but Rowand isn’t a typical 8 hitter and hasn’t handled the breaking ball in a long time, and Francis has mega slop. No reason to throw him a strike; if he doesn’t bite worst case is a BB. Tracy paid for it.

For all the success the team had, I thought Tracy got way too much credit for it. He’s on the clock this year.

One game in 2003, I sat out in that little bleacher section over the high wall on the west side of triples alley. Bonds hit a walk off into the bleachers to our right. But earlier in the game a HR went way over our heads to the promenade back in the vicinity of the cable car. Durham. (His second HR of the day, no less.)

Hawpe apparently lives out there in triples alley when he’s in town. (Either that or he’s a better than average RF.)

Tracey is an idiot, Smith has like the 15th best OPS of all OF’s (at least a few days ago) and he keep him as a part time player. And fucking Iannetta has a ton on of underlying numbers that would come to fruition if he had a chance to play. Olivio? He’s a poor man’s Molina….

F…the M…..f……. pitch count. No wilson tonite..Mota either. Wells turn is coming up on the road….

I know the Rox have won two games this series so far, but SF pitching has been pretty damn good. Rox bats haven’t done much here, like always.

Yeah Rowand and Panda get a little redemption for past futilities.

    Wee-z time . . .

Freddy Sanchez: 1-3 with a BB.

    I like the pick up.

Man this has been buggin me for a while….that song they just played during the commercial…..WTF is it? Theme from “A Summer Place”? I can hear the piano and the fucking strings…I just can’t remember the name of it!!

34 pitches last night, and he gave up some hits, 4 and a BB. I wouldn’t have done this, even if it works out.

Yes . . . ! They needed one of these.

    Matty pitching outstanding.

    And Bengie for that matter.

Isn’t that the handjob scene from Animal House, Willie?

A 6-3 home stand and they scored exactly 40 runs during that span. Just as TF predicted they would. Sometimes even I have to shake my fucking head.

Congrats…Another gem by Matt…would love to see the guys who drove in runs, drive in runs.

Willie, what commercial was it? That Percy Faith classic is one of my all time favorites. I don’t recall hearing it during any breaks.

  19. willied's avatar willied said, on June 2, 2010 at 9:45 pm

dmd it was on the Comcast SC between bottom 8th/top 9. I can’t even remember what the fuciking commercial itself was about. The theme, I can hear it from “oldies” days, emperor gene nelson… Percy Faith, yeah, just the first few bars , the strings start to go higher….

“Just as TF predicted they would..”
Damn, we hear that a lot 😉 Geez, I forgot about that one. What was funny was being reminded that this was a 6-3 homestand. From the Splash comments: 0-9 Here: 3-6…

DMD, just saw P-F and his orch do it on youtube…..you were right. Got to be real, they couldn’t lip synch an instrumental like on Bandstand, right? Glad we settled that.

Plus, a couple guys actually walked tonite, and FS scored after he did. Last night, zero in 11 innings as I remember. Baggs said in that interview this AM that Nate’s shoulder is still fucked up, so why would you put him in for D? That had to be how he hurt it in the first place…suppose he has to go to the wall or dive?

9 runs in the last two Cain games. They really need to set up a “Starting Pitcher Run Support Bank” … a savings account/credit card/overdraft protection plan and … don’t leave home without it.

Cute pics of your daughter. She’s got a lot personality in her pics. I bet Daddy helps too.
