I always look forward to Cain pitching. He’s my kind of guy!

Ditto to that, my friend. Matt’s my kind of guy as well. Always has been my favorite.

Rent’s shoulder must be hurting still. He has great numbers against Z.

They blew their home/away advantage by going 3-3 on the homestand. A sweep of the Cubbies could relieve some of the pressure to perform in Colorado.

  4. alleykat's avatar alleykat said, on September 21, 2010 at 3:18 pm

When is Rent ever not hurting.”Can’t help the club from the tub”.Winds blowing out, could be a slugfest game.Cain will keep the Cubs in check though.

Jackcrabby? WTF happened to twinnie? Pissing of the SFGate won’t fly unless you’re on the payroll like BFE or Chuck’s BFF “V” from the Niner blog. That place reminds me more and more of a card room with all the house shills raking in the cash. In this case, they rake in new and more posters.

    Hey, game’s started. Go Giants!

People that trip on the humiditor don’t seem to understand just how many people would have to be in the know to make that work. I’m glad the Gate finally wrote an article about it.

    • Del Mar Dennis's avatar delmardennis said, on September 21, 2010 at 6:33 pm

Zitshit said this past weekend on his Unicorn Hour with his buttbuddy, Urban that he can tell a difference. He said sometimes he’ll get a “cold” ball in Colorado which he presumably thinks came straight from the humidor. His words, not mine.

Do I believe the conspiracy? Let’s just say I’m a big X-Files fan. “I Want to Believe.”

OK, guys, 12 left. How many will it take to secure the division crown?

I’m thinking 8. 2 from 3 from each remaining series should do it.
“Two Out of Three Ain’t bad.” I’m hungry, I could go for a nice meat loaf right about now.

Shit, Cain is having a bad season at the plate. Nit picking I know, but he used to hit better than this crapola.

  20. Michael's avatar Michael said, on September 21, 2010 at 6:48 pm

I think 7-5 could even do it. Colorado would have to go 9-4 to tie, SD 8-5.

    • Del Mar Dennis's avatar delmardennis said, on September 21, 2010 at 7:00 pm

7 very well could, but I think that’s got game #163 written all over it. That’s exactly what I have the Rocks and Friars doing respectively, 9-4 and 8-5. This shit is going down straight to the wire. Photo finishes make me sick to my stomach. We need to pull away by another length or two past the 1/16 pole. I’m a nervous wreck.

…sure, let’s play the Phillies!! We’ve beaten their starters before. It all depends on which Giant team shows up, the July Team, or the August Team. If it’s “July”, then they can play and beat anyone.

  30. Del Mar Dennis's avatar delmardennis said, on September 21, 2010 at 7:18 pm

It wasn’t Frank Cannon’s brightest moment. What worries me most however, is that if we don’t homer, we don’t score. That’s our only way of generating runs of late. Not a good recipe for success.

  31. Michael's avatar Michael said, on September 21, 2010 at 7:19 pm

One of Sabean’s countless off-season dilemmas will be how much money to offer the astonishingly brilliant bullpen duo of Lopez & Ramirez. Maybe they’ll pull a Koufax-Drysdale type holdout…
