A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on February 3, 2011

Our World Series trophy is making the rounds and it looks like it will be in Palo Alto on the 15th of this month at Lytton Plaza. That’s an odd place to tour it, the actual plaza probably holds around 200 people and it bordered by nothing but sidewalk. Plus, that’s where all of Palo Alto’s *boujy* homeless guys hang out–

I’m not sure if I’ll go to the PA tour but I am definitely going to hit one of the surrounding cities and get my picture taken with that bad boy……

Here’s a link to the schedule.

The trophy will be at Fan Fest this weekend. Bet that party will be a bit livelier than usual.

“Well, it’s one louder, isn’t it?” – I love Spinal Tap. Good job Flav.

Yeah, I was hoping that would be Flav’s choice for 11 just last night. Good job

So of the people that have gone to see the trophy has it been bedlam? Or has it been a pretty organized affair? I would love to go, but I’m not going to be back on the mainland for about a month…gonna need a new name tho, hanging up the uniform. I’m bigSarge no more…and last but not least GET WELL TWIN!

He may have been discharged. And taking some heavy duty pain meds. Leave him be.

Sarge, when the trophy came to my area, it was an extremely organized event, and very efficient. Even though the line was huge, everyone got in to stand by the trophy.

    Anyone going to fan fest?

    My daughters are going . . .

    Don’t think I will be this year . . . (insert gay-ass frowny face)

I hope my kids get pics w/the trophy

I can’t go, I have stuff I have to do. But chances are it could be a real cluster fuck this year anyway

I just tried calling TF and a nurse answered the phone. I said I was looking for Michael Scott and she said “he must have been discharged because this is a new patients room.” At least being discharged is a good sign.

    Magnus,
Ever the practical and sane one, um, perhaps I should fly out for the trophy tour because NYC was obviously too easy.

Nice win by your Orangemen [sorry, I don’t buy that PC Orange crap] over UConn to snap the losing streak. Maybe Magnus could get a little Flap March Madness pool going. If ya haven’t figured it out by now, I’m a sucker for a suckers’ bet. I’ll take the Big East and give you guys the rest of the field.

Pettitte’s retirement officially makes the Yankees the prime Zito dumping ground. I still say Zito & J. Sanchez for Burnett & Chamberlain would be real good for SF.

I’ll take the horses sired by Bernardini and give you the rest of the field for the Derby.

Worth a few laughs. Then Sabes would tell Cashman to go hump a tree.

The judge in the BBonds case took another major step today to clear her calendar for his trial in March. Looks like it may go. Hope some of you layabouts get pulled into the jury pool.
