A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

The Dodger Series and Bryan Stow

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on April 10, 2011

Bryan Stow. A man I don’t know……

I’ve struggled with this. There’s nothing about the Dodgers or their park that should necessarily be a reason to focus my wrath upon them because of their fans. All parks have their fan base that isn’t really a fan base—-just a bunch of idiots who want to get wasted and fuck with people. There are wannabe gangster-bullshit-pussies at every game. Bryan just happened to stumble upon the wrong two people. That’s just bad luck…..

I’m not going to Game 1 but if I was, and I had the stadium mic, this is what I would say: “Most of us  love this game. Turn to the fan dressed in Dodger gear near you and shake their hand. Maybe give them a hug. Bond with the people that share the same love of the game that you do…..”

The hoodlums that attacked Bryan have nothing to do with baseball. Remember that………

Apparently not cold enough to prevent countless idiots from dragging their newborn babies to the yard.

Speaking of weather conditions . . . Consider yourself fortunate Paul that you are further east of Japan and the wind normally blows west . . . too bad for us though. A few minutes ago, Japan’s nuclear regulators raised the severity level of the crisis at Fukushima to 7, which ranks it on par with the 1986 Chernobyl disaster.

Flyovers are one of the stupidest things ever, especially at sporting events. One wrong move could take out 15,000 people in a heartbeat.

Every year in early Oct. the Blue Angels come to SF and scream around the towers and the bridges and the bay for a couple of days, rehearsing for a big Sunday show. On such Sundays, I’ve been on the freeway going 80 when a dipshit in a suv in front of me decided to stop to watch the show. Most people seem to love the Blue Angels. I wish they’d all meet at 500 mph over a distant atoll.

Maybe you should go the speed limit . . .

I agree — that show belongs to the Thunderbirds. Insert gay ass smiley face.

They’re not going to let you back into Room B with shit like that chuckles.

Well I guess it’s OK to hit an office building and kill a few thousand when you’re just rehearsing. You gotta get the kinks out so that doesn’t happen the day of the big show.

Or, wait a minute, do you drive a suv chuck? Have you . . . .?

The first year at Pac Bell they came from behind (yeah I know, there’s a joke in there someplace), I didn’t hear the guy until he was right on top of me (yeah, yeah another joke) . I split some beer, dropped to my knees and watched as the fucker went towards the scoreboard. He pulled up and went up straight (really, this wasn’t supposed to be funny). It was an amazing display, but I was toast the rest of the game.
      Never mind.

This game is very similar to the Donnie Two-Trips game so far, actually. Though it’s hard to expect that kind of comeback again. That game started to turn around when Timmy drilled Kemp with a pitch.

Actually, Blade, VN is way southwest of Japan, and earlier on, the winds over Japan were heading east over the Pacific… toward the US. Once or twice there was word here that the winds were shifting and circling back around this way, but nothing showed up in the air here…. yet. Here’s hoping none of that “hot air” will show up anywhere.

WHOOPS! I just read back what I wrote and I had it ass backwards. Thank you for correcting me Paul 🙂

Yeah, I know, the whole east-west thing gets a little complicated. How one flies west from the US to reach The East… how Vietnam and Thailand are called Southeast Asia but are well west of Japan.. etc…. Hell, California is east of Nevada… if you go the long way around!

Tim Tim better bring his pitching shoes. Barbara seems to always pitch his best against the Giants.

Are this year’s Dodgers last years Padres for this team?

the GF (visiting from PL) was watching that TV series Californication all night (dubbed in Polish). I made her switch over to the game for a minute… Geezus! My mistake, dear. Let’s watch more Polish TV, please.
