I didn’t care for the tone of the last thread. Some comments were getting deleted, some others probably should have been deleted. Anyway, didn’t feel like going through everything so I’m starting a new thread.

What hitter is at or above his career norm? Answer: ZERO. What so many of you don’t understand: that’s fucking good news. It’s like shooting 30 percent for the first half and being two points down. well, there are a lot of careers that are over so looking at the back of their baseball card is pointless. Tejada is done. maybe Burrell too. Rowand sucks balls over the course of a full season. Huff may or may not recapture the magic. Lots of question marks. But one thing I know, Buster Posey is our team MVP right now. 🙂

Tejada, Huff, Burrell…Flavor could be right. All the more reason to get Belt here. Torres, Belt, Pear Butt, Sandoval, Ross is more than enough to cover for the laggers. And Fruckie is OK. I told you exactly what they’d score last year (4.3). I had thought 4.5 this year but with the league ERA down from 4.26 in April last year to 3.87 this year, I’ll say they score the same as las last.

I dunno, but they don’t announce a 50-gamer without damning evidence. Looks like the league is throwing the book at Frandsen in order to send a message to minor league “guys on the bubble who need an edge” – exactly those who have always been the most likely to use PEDs.

It is a good strategy for getting PEDs out of the league. I still feel sorry for Frandsen, though. I don’t think he was ever good enough to be a major leaguer, but still, he caught a bad break. And now it looks like he got caught trying to buy some luck.
