Opening. Day. Finally.
Still can’t get enough of that meme I posted last night….
And opening day is finally, ultimately, upon us. I think the Dodgers just hit the all star break. Not sure, someone should check on that.
Predictions? A prediction thread used to be one of the most polarizing threads I would run each season. Now? Eh, not so much. Last year I think everyone took about 92 and look where that got us.
How many wins will the Giants have this year? I’ve come to realize that predicting wins for a season is ludicrous. The opening day line up is usually nothing like the line ups in August and especially September. If you don’t know who’s going to be playing for the team in August and September how can you rationally predict a win total for the year?
While I’d like to go contrarian and say 75, I just can’t bring myself to do that— not with the potential of this current team. They are one or two injuries away from 75 wins, make no mistake about it. And no one gives up quite as easily as “Bad Penny” Sabes. Last year, I think he waved the white flag in June. But I digress…….
Here’s the bottom line reason why I can’t go with 90+ wins for the Giants this year (even assuming good luck with good health all year): The NL West is rock solid from top to bottom. And while we did have the best record last season against fellow NL West opponents, all the teams in the division have improved themselves over last year. We don’t have anyone to “Astro-slap” along the way this year. No breaks. No one to pad our stats against. I just think this year is going to be a grind in our division. Not to mention that, on paper, the Dodgers are probably the best team in the National League.
So I’m gonna go with my old faithful “88” and hope for the best.
___________
anyone want to guess the collective IQ of the 2 chicks in the bottom left of this pic? 180+/-?
Thoughts?

“You always get a special kick on opening day, no matter how many you go through. You look forward to it like a birthday party when you’re a kid. You think something wonderful is going to happen.”
Joe DiMaggio
Almost every year I go with 93 wins, nothing scientific, probably because my favorite Giants team was the 93 team, which was also my favorite Opening Day until 2011 joined it. Yeah, the year they didn’t open in St Pete and the year they first raised the flag in SF Sorry, I wandered off a bit, this year I’m going with 96. Why? Because I’m fired up. Bring it.
*88*– nice round number, very lucky in Asian community, and symbolic of keys on a piano. I like it.
Out of 30 editors on Fangraphs only 1 thought Giants win the division. One guy had Pads winning it, with Cashner getting the Cy. Hey, he held middle order Puig Hanley A-G Ethier 0-15 with 4 Ks. Nicely done!
I think predictions are dumb too…unless Flav says something about a no hitter.
As the club heads into the season I’m more confident in the offense than I have been in the past. Unfortunately, I think the pitching is going to be worse than a week of the undead on the BBOTD page.
82.
Something else cool about last night was hearing the Pads fans whoop it up and yelling “Beat LA” there at the end. Lot of blue in the seats last night, tho since Pads changed their colors hard to tell if they were Dodger fans or not. And when Giants are there crowd noise seems 50/50, kinda sad.
Most predictions I saw for NL Div winners had LA STL WAS clear favorites, with Braves Pirates Reds/Giants as WCs. The F-G one had Posey tied for 2nd most MVP votes and Bum 2nd most Cy votes. Can’t think of a year Giants (SF version) ever swept those 2 awards in same season. ?
Here’s the link to our predictions for last year
https://oneflapdown77.com/2013/03/
Predictions are bull BLEEP! So here’s mine…..90 wins….bank on it! I got a bridge to sell too.
I checked, and the Dog-ears have indeed arrived at the All Star break; Kershaw’s back is still bothering him, Kemp has retired and Puig is up to 275 lbs and climbing. Those post game buffets are killing him. Hanley is, of course, on the DL. All is not well in La La Land.
My take on the upcoming season:
I stink at predictions so I usually don’t bother. There are so many ifs with this club that it’s hard for me to gauge them. Injuries will of course be a factor. If Morse hits like he can and stays on the field, if Posey bounces back, if Pence is Pence and the Panda finally has his break out year, something like .330, 25, 100+, and he seems poised to do just that, the offense could be pretty potent. I keep hoping Belt will string together those flashes of greatness into an entire season. Then we’d really have something. Whataya say, Brandon, 25 dingers, 90 ribbies, a .290 BA and Gold Glove defense?
The 2-hole will be an issue until the Scutaro situation clears up, one way or the other. Hopefully, he can make it back and do his thing. If not, then what? Belt in the 2-hole? Yeesh. Pence? You’re wasting his pop and RBI ability there. I’m also not that keen on the Crawford and Arias platoon. I think Crawford should be the guy. Arias is great as a utility, plug-him-in-anywhere-on-the-infield guy. I like him better in that role and off the bench. Maybe it’s Bochy trying to light a fire under Brandon’s ass and pump up his offensive game.
Bumgarner is on the cusp of joining the game’s elite pitchers, if he’s not there already, Cain should bounce back because he’s too good not to. Timmy is a bit of an uncertainty, but he’s a smart kid and he knows how to pitch, so I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. 10-15 wins out of him would be good. Other power guys have made the transition from power pitcher to junkballer (for lack of a better term). Vogey and Huddy. Who knows? I love Vogey’s intensity, but he seems really shaky right now. Hudson would be a steal at 12 wins. I think the BP will be fine once Affeldt gets back, and Law, Crick and Hembree are waiting in the wings.
We went 11-8 against the Blue Meanies last year and pretty much kicked their ass in September (5-2). Why not this year, too?
So, I dunno, 91 wins, first in the West after a long, hard battle. How’s that for some verbosity?
I think Belt would fit nicely in the 2 spot to start the season. He’s one of the better OBP guys on the club. Crawford? Not seeing it. Especially with the talk about platooning him. Don’t get me wrong. I’m a big fan of Crawford and think he can still improve. I just don’t see him in the 2 hole.
I just don’t think Belt is the kind of bat control guy, like Scutaro, you like to have batting second, good OBP or no. Too many pissy AB’s an K’s.
I like Belt’s OBP (second on the club last year to Posey), but I agree with John, his K rate could be problematic near the top of the line-up. He lead the team in Ks with 125 in 509 ABs. You guys can do the math and figure out the AB/K ration…it ain’t good. But, I think with the limited options, it probably is going to have to be Belt/Pence as Bochy has said until Scoots is available, etc.
Crawford struck out 96 times last year so he’s not far behind in hacking. Those are fair points but I think Belt is the better choice of the two.
Oh, and BW choked away a win for the Dodgers. I’m happy no matter what happens today.
I already gave my vanilla 87 and WC. I don’t see Pence in the #2 hole. Swings at way too much slop. If they try it, it’ll be like Gamer at leadoff. Weirdly works for a bit, then Bochy will say, “Uuh, yeah, Hunter did a great job there, but, uuh, we’ll try somethin else for a while”…
I’m going with one of my last year’s predictions that didn’t pan out – Yasiel Puig – suspended for 50 games.
And after he worked with Bonds for a few days, I predict Crawford hits LH pitching. This is what he said about working with Barry.

Compliments of the “Gunner””
I’m just waiting for the real ball to begin- the bingles, the bloops and the blasts, the dying quails, the soup coolers, and the tweeners- in other words- it’s rug cuttin’ time…at last.
Playing for real tonight. A couple of predictions:
Tonight’s line-up:
PaGone – CF
Belt – 1B
Posey – C
Pablo – 3B
Pence – RF
Morse – LF
Arias – 2B
Crawdad – SS
MadBum – P
89 wins and a wild card.
Giddy up…let’s get this show on the road.
Flav – I am down with the 25th. Lock and load on a ticket for me. Will shoot you an email, too.
I keep thinking that NFL players can’t get anymore idiotic, misogynistic, homophobic, thug-like . . . and then along comes Chris Culliver – latest NFL poster boy. According to police, they received a call shortly after 10 a.m. local time after a bicyclist was struck by a car that fled the scene afterward. An eyewitness who saw the accident followed Culliver and was able to block him off in a nearby neighborhood.
Authorities say that Culliver then exited his vehicle and threatened the eyewitness with brass knuckles before attempting to flee the scene in his vehicle. Culliver was taken into custody without incident after police arrived on the scene.
What a dumb fuck.
You should see his girlfriend over on the BBOTD page.
How appropriate – he had his trademark tramp stamped on her ass.
It’s here. Well, maybe not here in the Northwoods of Manysnowta where we’re expecting the Big Dump today and tonight. No, not the LaBumbos going down in flames vs the Pads last night, but from a cozy 6″ to a full foot of white fulfullment ~ just as patches of brown were showing up amidst the everything in white plight.
Opening Day. Everyone goes out on a limb ~ or shrinks at the prospect of looking silly all over again. Been and done, as they say. Somehow i think they’re gonna do it again. Defense will improve ~ except till Morse goes into a sag and gets replaced by Perez. Then it improves a bunch. Adrianza taking over second at about the same time? Could happen. Ideal defense transposes Pagan to left with Perez in CF. Such a defense, considering slimmed-down Panda and free-fingered Crawford could be tighter than the head of a snaredrum.
Best defensive alignment would depend on presumed need for extra pop at the plate. Should Buster, Pence, Belt, Pablo and Pagan all be heavy producers then Morse could become that terrifying threat from the bench. Posey may not be under the gun as much as last year as Quiroz is replaced by Hector with a slimmed down bod and a very healthy S.T. A rested Buster is a steady blaster. Offensively, SF could make top five in the NL this season. This was the Championship team just two years ago and more than one of these guys come into the season with something to prove.
Rotation: Everybody seems to agree. Snotrockets supremacy this season. Barring injury or suchlike we may be looking at Madison the Monster. Cain will feel a compulsion to compete with our ace lefthander. Even if his April is no more than half as bad as last year, he should again be standing strong by the end of September. At this point Hudson is the #3. He’s crafty and experienced. Home field will be to his advantage. So will a tight infield defense. Timmy the timid or Tim Terrific? Teeter-Totter Tim,more likely. He should be up more than he’s down, say with a 13-11 record. Vogie? Who’s to say. If there’s ANYTHING left in the tank this is the guy who will make the best of it. Giant brass must have seen something there with the re-signing. Generally, the Giants know pitching.
Bullpen: Bochy’s Bliss. Commencing with a veteran-laden conglomeration, the total pen is greater than the sum of its current parts. Stacked up like 747’s over Hartsfield, Giants relievers with experience and/or considerable promise are larded throughout the pipeline and particularly present at Fresno and Richmond. Thought is hardly original to yours truly, but it would not surprise me a bit if Bochy, Sabean & Associates looked over the great young arms melt-down in Atlanta and elsewhere and concluded that the likes of Hembree, Law and Hall might be better served by storming into the scene somewhere around July or August rather than steaming through the full 162 marathon. There will be a long sorting-out. By August 31st the SF bullpen will be taut, tough and talented.
Bench: Biggest improvement over last season if things go as i think they might. Morse and Blanco make for a power-speed duo in the O.F. Hector is ever a threat off the bench if he’s not giving Buster his rightful rest.
Arias and Scutaro in the middle infield bring championship experience combined with versatility. Yes, you read that right. Marco will return, get some starts, struggle somewhat and be mainly riding the pine. Bats like his, Morse’s and Hectors will make for potent possibilities and one of the better benches in baseball.
Giants win.
You’re a tough act to follow, Stix.
NL West: Giants, Dodgers, Snakes, Padres, Rockies
NL Cy: Bumgarner
NL MVP: Bryce Harper
NL East: Nats
NL Central: Cardinals
NL Wild Cards: Dodgers , Braves
NL ROY: Travis d’Arnaud
AL East: Rays
AL Central: Tigers
AL West: Rangers
AL Wild Cards: Red Sox, A’s
AL Cy: Justin Verlander
AL MVP: Trout
AL ROY: Xander Bogaerts
Biggest Giants’ surprises: Win NL West, Pablo wins GG
Given the extremes of the last two seasons — a World Series title and a total face-plant — I have no idea what to expect from the Giants this year. It doesn’t help that the two biggest question marks — getting another starter in case Vogey can’t cut it and finding an adequate backup in case Scutaro went down — doesn’t appear to have been properly addressed. But I do expect a big return to form from Buster, a monster year from MadBum, productive enough seasons from Belt, Sandoval, Pence, Pagan, and new addition Hudson. Much will depend on Cain and Lincecum and whether they still have the right stuff. I’d also like to see Craw get a chance early on vs. lefties, to see if he has it figured out. And if Morse can deliver some much-needed pop, all the more better with defensive dynamo Perez coming in for late-inning D. As for the relievers, yet another Affeldt injury is troubling, and I’m not sure we can squeeze in another full season of Romo as closer, but otherwise the ‘pen seems to be in decent shape.
I’ll go with the Always Look on the Bright Side of Life approach and 90 wins, good enough for a wild-card spot.
Since I’m Mr. Optimistic, I’ll take 90. Yeah, that’s the ticket. I think the pen will end up fine after Romo and Affeldt implode. Casilla takes over, and we get help from the Fresburgh brigade.
Justg have to be relatively injury free for this to work. The bench is iffy . . .
I went 84 wins last year and that was way too optimistic and I think this team will actually be worse. Hate to be a pessimist. I think I am still down from the Niner choke and now watching the Warriors showing signs of early exit in the playoffs. Sharks will do their usual annual playoff tease and implosion.
But I still have my Kentucky basketball team! What a turn around. I had them losing to Wichita State. God is either punishing me for not picking them or rewarding me for showing them no faith and they are on the march. Madness March!
I think Rockies and Doucebags will be worse than last year and the Padres better than last year. I am sticking pins in my Dodger Voodoo doll. So I will go:
Dodgers 82 wins
Padres 81 wins
Giants 80 wins
Doucebags 79 wins
Rockies 70 wins
I am holding out hope Farmer Bum goes for 18 wins and sub 3.00 ERA and Cy Young contention.
I also predict the Panda talks drag all year and that will be a drag all summer on the team. Also Mark Jackson ends up coaching the Knicks, Bogut goes down injured for the playoffs, David Lee is not the same. Warriors try and shoot 3s every playoff possession. Lacob is the new over-bearing NBA owner. Curry turns sour, starts asking to be traded.
Sharks lose to the Blues.
But Kentucky wins the Big Dance!
Is this really opening day? I am unfortunately stiffling a yawn….
83.. I’m just not sanguine
I was so frickin’ wrong last season, that I am out of the crystal ball and tarot card business until further notice.
Hahaha . . . Phils Lee getting lit up after being spotted 6 runs.
To me interleague play for Opening Day is the saddest part of that game.
Along with the DH, I wish they had never started inter-league play. I dislike both.
Entertainment from them all season is my prediction…Enjoy! Btw, loved the beard blowing last night.
I also predict Blade wins the Flapper Fantasy League…
But only after acquiring Mike Trout for Ryan Vogelsong…
My powers of persuasion are immense.
🙂
Watching Mets-Nats, first game for Matt Williams as manager. Buddy of mine saw one of their games in spring training and texted me how Matty looks “suspiciously slender.”
Mac, diet pills or is the implication that he juiced when he played?
The Dodgers and their fans had only experienced “great Wilson” last season, and they had yet to experience “torture Wilson,” until last night.
That was a lot of fun watching the Dodgers fail last night. Hopefully there are many fails ahead for the Dodgers this season.
—-
My predictions last season were so ridiculously wrong, that, like some others have said, I’m not up for venturing predictions this season. I just want the Giants to put pressure on the Dodgers this season, and let’s see how the Dodgers do in a real division race.
A lot of the Dodgers are chokers until proven otherwise.
“A lot of the Dodgers are chokers until proven otherwise.”
They have an excellent team, so the threshold for “choketude” is a World Series Championship. Anything short of that, then they will be perceived by me to be a team of chokers as well.
I am feeling really good about Grady Sizemore, whom I picked up in one of my leagues on the waiver wire. He just went yard. Great story if he can produce and stay healthy this season. Rooting for the guy (and not only because he is on my FL team).
He had a great spring, Blade. I really wanted the Giants to make a run at him, oh well. I’m rooting for the guy, hope he has a hell of a year for the Sox and your FL team.
Yes, I wish the Giants would have as well. His contract is under 1 million dollars (750K I think). Sheesh, Sabes loses that every other week under his couch cushions.
He really makes lot more sense in the AL where he can DH. And cool weather at ATT probably a turnoff for a guy coming off knee\ back surgery. From the Giants standpoint, they needed RH pop.
DH? Sizemore is a superb athlete and outstanding outfielder – why the hell would you want him to DH? Believe me, he wont be DHing on the Red Sox with Ortiz having that slot sewed up. Salty, where does Ortiz play when Sizemore DHs?
Damn good game in Pittsburgh today. Home town kid with the walkoff, nice. Now back to the Nats and Mets, ain’t life grand?
Tonight:
1. Angel Pagan (S) CF
2. Brandon Belt (L) 1B
3. Pablo Sandoval (S) 3B
4. Buster Posey (R) C
5. Hunter Pence (R) RF
6. Michael Morse (R) LF
7. Joaquin Arias (R) 2B
8. Brandon Crawford (L) SS
9. Madison Bumgarner (R) P
Good to see you here, Michael. Hoping to see you here more regularly.
Welcome back, tf.
Call me Mellow Yellow, Salty.
Couldn’t miss Opening Day here. Hi to you, too.
AZ LU:
1. A.J. Pollock (R) CF
2. Aaron Hill (R) 2B
3. Paul Goldschmidt (R) 1B
4. Martin Prado (R) 3B
5. Mark Trumbo (R) LF
6. Miguel Montero (L) C
7. Chris Owings (R) SS
8. Gerardo Parra (L) RF
9. Brandon McCarthy (R) P
Enjoy the game, folks.
Also Salty, he is playing CF today. IMO, it makes NO sense for Sizemore to DH for any team, much less the Red Sox. If he is injured again, then so be it.
Blade I was presuming he’s not the same player now and prone to break down. Good point about Ortiz. What the hell is Boston thinking? 😉
I wasn’t suggesting DH full time , just having it as an option for a guy who has played all of 104 games in the last 4 yrs. He did DH for Cleve in 09 and 11.
Line-up is pretty much as expected. I had Posey and Panda flipped.
Many ‘ifs’, as mentioned by most Flappers in this thread. I’m thinking the key will be the ‘what ifs’ that Sabes and Bochy will have to deal with and come up with alternatives when something goes wrong and/or someone goes down. “What if we do this… what if we do that”.. and I’m thinking they’ll be more creative and effective than they handled the cratering last summer. So I’m guessing 2nd in the West but the 1st wildcard. I guessed that last year, too…… oops. This year, more hopeful for it. I’m also guessing Scutaro is not coming back, so that will be their first big what-if to deal with. Enjoy this greatest of non-national holidays, Flappers…
Brett Butler is the Marlins 3rd base coach? Did not see that one coming
So how did Hamilton, the Reds’ speedy rookie centerfielder and leadoff hitter do today?
0-4, 4 strikeouts. Ouch. He’s trying to get out from under the cliche: “You can’t steal firstbase.”
Zum, this dude passed up these guys that followed Hamilton. Unfrickingbelievable.

My Team
Oh man, ouch! 🙂
That owner may be looking to trade pretty soon.
In my pay league FL draft, someone drafted Hamilton in the 4th round (4th pick). WTF? Stupidest selection I have seen. EVER.
Flavor, I am watching that game and I wondered the same thing when I saw Butler.
Yikes, that FL team owner gambled on that one. Hamilton could be back in AAA in a couple of months.
Hey, I get that Hamilton has tremendous upside, but quite frankly, he is a one trick pony in my opinion. The other thing I didn’t get is taking a closer (Holland especially) in the 4th round either, when Price and Reyes were available (both taken in the 5th). Of course, it may have been part of their grand design or something. Who knows?
I don’t think it’s a stupid selection at all. If the dude can get on base, he’ll steal 80 bases this year. If the owner is correct, he wins.
4th round is where he was going over the last 170 NFbc drafts that took place.
We’ll just have to disagree then. IMO he is unproven and as Zum pointed out, he might find his ass in the minors ala Gordon.
You have to take risks to win those leagues. Jose Reyes was going 3rd round. Even before he went down today I woulda taken Hamilton before him. Speculation is the foundation of winning.
BJ Upton, trying to get off to a good start and have a much better season this year. He’s in the second year of a 5-year, $75 million contract.
Today? 0-4, 2 strikeouts. The Braves really need something from him this season.
In both of my leagues, he is on the waiver wire (wasn’t drafted).
Who? Hamilton? Then you are in a league full of newbie idiots
LOL . . . No, Upton.
Btw, in one of my $350 lgs, the dude who won 20k last year in one league ($1000 entry) took Hamilton with the first pick of third round (25th). A bunch of guys lol’d at him but it’s equivalent to hitting a 25-1 shot– and that does happen and that is how you win the higher stakes leagues.
Nevertheless, I DO HOPE they are “newbie idiots” because that gives me better odds of winning the $600 for first place. 😉
Wow, shows how naive I am, I had no idea there’s actually a league that costs $1,000 to enter!
Rockies pitching is going to be hilarious again this season. Walking in runs, hitting people with pitches. Starting to happen in Miami right now.
No player has been more polarizing than Hamilton (in the fantasy community). I’m actually on of the rare guys who doesn’t have an opinion either way. I see why guys are drafting him high, if they’re right he’s far from a 1-trick pony. You get 80+ steals out of a guy and you can open up all over the place in other categories.
I also could see him face planting and, as Zumie said, be back in aaa in 6 weeks.
But there’s risk in all these picks or at least most of them. If you just take who everyone says to take, you finish in the middle of the pack– at least in the higher pay leagues.
I own him on one of my 2 teams btw, didn’t want to get shut out of the party if he hits. 🙂
I’m guessing Trout is the #1 pick in a lot of leagues? Is Puig going in the first round? Puig is a candidate for a sophomore slump. Pitchers are feeling a little more confident against him.
Either 1 (usually) or 2 (switching with Cabrera).
Puig is going middle 3rd round in a 12 team league (on average). He’s gone in the 2nd round, he’s gone in the 4th round. And NFBC is the only place I ever look when considering draft results.
Flav, you’re familiar with the scouts rating for speed, right? He has 80+ speed, i.e., he is faster than Dee Gordon, who was rated exactly at 80. My point is that I know the dude is the fastest player (perhaps ever to play) in MLB. I guess I’m just on the other side of the fence with regard to him. If he sticks, he can easily steal 75 bases, maybe 100. Big if is getting on base. Gordon had the same problem when he was brought up. He was one of the top prospects in baseball a couple of years ago, yet in most FL leagues, he is on the waiver wire. However, I do agree with you – that you have to take chances (judicious ones). I think most everyone recognizes that. For me, I avoid closers in the early rounds . . . This is also a polarizing draft strategy. I just personally think that I am able to get closers in the late rounds, or better yet, off the waiver wire. For example, I got Santos in both my leagues when Janssen went down with a back injury. Same deal with Matt Lindstrom who got selected as the closer for the White Sox yesterday.
just a historical reference here, but Vince Coleman, one of the best base stealers of all time, hit .232 in 1986 with a .302 OBP. He stole 107 bases that year. So it’s not even like this has never been done before.
by the way, don’t leave Nate Jones on the waiver wire. I expect him to be closing for the White Sox for the majority of the year after Lindstrom spits the bit. And regarding Santos, I drafted him in the 26th/28th round (out of 30) in both my NFBC leagues. Me: 1 My opponents: 0
Actually, I may handcuff him to Lindstrom if I get rid of a pitcher.
There is grass on the field… Play ball!
McCarthy was filthy that inning.
Not exactly an auspicious start.
Mike DiGiovanna @MikeDiGiovanna 1m
Only the #Angels: Hitting coach Don Baylor just suffered right ankle injury catching Vladdy’s ceremonial first pitch. Being carried off.
Nice throw.
Way to gun down dumbo Trumbo at 3rd Hunter!! Beautiful throw!!
Sorry to be late to the dance, a touch of food poisioning, been out of it since Sunday morning. Still a little queasy. 84 wins this year. Wild card, all the way to the WS
Oh and who just got the first hit of the season…yes indeed Brandon C!!
Yup, Craw got it started.
Flav gets his first salute.
And he scores the first run of the season!!
Pagan baby!!
Mudbug missed the plate 1st attempt good the throw was wild.
Frickin’ laser shot to left.
Pagan got credit for a double on that? That doesn’t seem right. He took second on the throw home.
And Montero was blocking the plate without the ball. The new rule says the catcher can’t do that. Montero flat-out set up on the baseline. The ump should have ruled Crawford automatically safe. If not, then I don’t understand the new rule.
WTF? That was one of the weirdest plays I have ever seen. Sandoval now trying to play short or what?
Horrendous d
3 errors? Criminy. I know the Buster one wasn’t but still. Limit the damaga
nevermind
Walk him.
Well this is turning ugly fast
Hey, that’s exactly what General Custer said.
Yeah and look how that turned out.
77-85
I forgot about the shitty defense in my earlier prediction.
I just told Sandy32Koufax on Xoot’s blog that I figured a disaster for Voggy and maybe Lincecum . . . Not Bum. Meh.
My man Craw!!
Gotta love us some Gaints, eh Flav?
2 on, 0 out. 1 run. There’s your Giants replay.
IMO, Arias is not having a good game.
!
Wow. Arias says ole . . . The matador defense there.
Petit was fat and sweaty when he threw his near perfect game. Now he’s pretty ripped, at least in comparison to what he was the night of his near perfection…Jesus the D-back announcers are talking about taco bell giveaways right now– #lowclassoperation
Anyway, maybe Petit needs to start hitting up the taco bell again……
Man just game 1 and it’s a major grind, and Bochy looks bored as their about to go Bona-Petit on us as the team continues to leak oil!!
You’ll know it’s bad when Bochy gets his “fishing in Baja California” look.
Yahoo.
My vote for POTD.
I have the Snake feed too and I think Brenly just said 4 of their pitchers, including Corbin, had TJ surgery this season. Wow! Almost like having your tonsils taken out on that team.
Somebody get Arias an outfielders mitt please.
and a brain for Belt.
Wow. This isn’t spring training.
This feels like a late August fucking end-of-a-10-game road trip game.
We’ll be calling Fresno for arms in 2 more innings
Fuck how retarded can the Giants get tonight? Belt should get an error for just being stupid on that pick off..
