Ah, Sports…
Summer day, Giants baseball in DC, NBA championship to win in Cleveland….Stop and appreciate a day like this, the moments that make it up. There are a lot of shitty days in the year. Win or lose, today isn’t one of them….

wow 8 XBHs will pump up the slugging pct. Great job by Moronta and all that followed him including that last K on Harper by FLR.
Meanwhile steph lights up a 3 for point #20 right in front of LB to end half. Yaha
It’d be nice to get the first two of this series before having to deal with Scherzer, weather permitting that is. He had 13 SO’s on Tuesday.
Cavaliers are a joke…this is a Championship series???
I predict LeBron is going to get Kwahi, CP3 and Chris Paul and all four of them sign $10 mill 1-year deals with the Lakers just to try and take us out. They all can resign right under Bird Rules to stay with LA with max level contracts? At least LeBron and Kwahi getting the Max deals…
what the warriors have “ruined” is any suspense on who the best team in NBA is.
Great to have Bozo back.
No doubt Twin would draw the Gorky/Torres comparison dating back to last season when Gorks picked it up in the latter stages. I think he’d also be giving Cutch some of his Renteria-like support. No one will ever forget Twin, that’s for sure. I think he’d be happy that he is spoken of so often here.
As for the Belmont, Flavor, whenever a horse wins the first 2 legs of the TC, I always ask myself if he would be entered in the Belmont if he hadn’t – having learned this from Johnny Campo in 1981 who knew Pleasant Colony was an empty horse. In the case of Justify the answer is obviously not, which makes him a toss out for me regardless of how good he may look. It seems like Hofburg (who was my Derby flop) is the wiseguy pick.
I’d love him at 10-1 but he’s an insult at 9-2 or less which he likely will be. I’m not much of a multi-race player so even though he might blow this thing apart, he doesn’t have the value for me. Vino Rosso wouldn’t shock me but for some reason, I just can’t see him. No one really inspires confidence in me maybe cause I’m ice cold in general, but I think Tenfold’s your best choice. Asmussen sticks with Santana after replacing him with Irad and winning the Belmont with Creator in 2016 (for WinStar no less!). Love the karma angle in racing and haven’t heard this one anywhere else. Good luck, Flavor…
Congrats to the Warriors!!
another good day……..
Good for the Bay Area. Great how Giants got the 3 in 5 and then immediately the W’s get 3 in 4. Pretty good 8 or 9 year run…
Dodgers’ Beuhler was pitching great again, but has left the game with some kind of injury.
Seems the Bay area teams win ’em in bunches…Niners, A’s, Raiders (sorta)….
Yeah, the Raiders had 3 in an 8 year period. I’d include them in the dynasties.
Countdown till MacDog points out that they were the L.A. Raiders when they won the last one.
5…..4…..3…..2…..1…..
🙂
Lulz.
That’s one TF got wrong: he vehemently wanted Monta Ellis instead of Curry.
But to be fair, Curry was looking a bit sketchy at first with the ankle injuries.
Pedro Moura
@pedromoura
It’s still unclear what happened to Walker Buehler, but it’s worth noting that the last two fastballs he threw registered as the two slowest he has thrown in the majors.
Beuhler has had TJ surgery.
In the locker room?
lulz
Duuuuuuuuuuuuubbbbbbsssss !!!!!!!!
Serious ownage going on:
“St. Louis Cardinals rallied to a 7-6 victory, their 12th in a row over the Cincinnati Reds.
The Cardinals haven’t dominated the Reds so completely since the Great Depression. They also beat them 12 straight from 1931-32.”
Great start to the roadie. I was at a 60th b-day party at a bar/restaurant, and as luck would have it, several of the TVs had the Giants game on along with Yanks-Mets. Man, Hanson’s on fire.
Hey GH, how ya handling the Caps winning the Cup? 😉
Welcome back, Bozo.
The refs finally called some offensive fouls on LeBron tonight when he bulled over the defender.
Didn’t realize Quinn Cook and KD were childhood friends. He’s a keeper. He was a mess in the locker room. Great story for Cook to make it to these heights in his career.

This would have been a better series had it been the Celtics. But as far as Bron Bron goes, if he goes to the Lakers, he’ll have to get through the Western conference playoffs, which as we all know, is about 5x harder than the east. I think the Pelicans would have beaten the Cavs, let alone Houston. Bron is cursed. 3-6? He won’t even get through the 2nd round if he comes west let alone win another title.
Great Giants game. Just happy there were 2 TVs where I was at.
WARRIORS1 Just got off the phone with my brother, a huge Dubs fan. We were at the Baron Davis slam game with (our dad) vs Dallas. Seems like a century ago. Amazing to go back 8-9 years to now and think the Giants and warriors have SIX titles, vs zero in the previous 40.. Lucky we are:)
