Tauchmann actually got on base last night with a PH walk. Guy is a threat, now.
Meanwhile, I think Duggar is now at something like 7 for his last 45 ? Positively Blanco-like summer swoon.
Meanwhile, I like Yaz. He hits dingers, he’s the best OFer they have.
But, he’s at .235 and left 6 ROB last night.
Following on BF’s lede yesterday, how they are 25 games above .500 is almost inexplicable, though we’ve followed this journey all season.
These aren’t “misfits” of 2010 with a totally dominant pitching staff, but we need a name for them…

Give him a few weeks at AAA, then bring him up unless he just craters there.
He can field, that’s not an issue.
If he can hit even .225 up in SF with some RH pop, why not?

Not really. In today’s game it is all about getting on base and hitting HRs. Giants lead the NL in HRs.

Other reasons:

Giants are 1st in NL (third overall) in pitches per plate appearance (4.03 per AB).

Over 300 IP from Gausman, Disco, and Wood. No way they are in 1st place without this from those starters.

Also 2nd in team ERA and first in saves.

184 pinch-hit ABs that has translated to 9 PH HRs (most in the majors).

Also 4th in SLG and OPS and 7th in OBP in the majors.

  Now there is definitely truth to that, Loo. To me that is the most amazing thing about this team…their ability to “plug-and-play” up and down the line-up and continue to get production. I think a lot of that is a testament to the coaching staff (in addition to the players producing), as the players regularly rant about how the coaching staff does such a great job at getting them prepared for each game.

A good Ramos Fizz is just what the bartender suggests.
And the timing is just right for the AAA promotion.
If he rakes Ramos might even be up before the deadline as Tauchman waves sayonara.
Really to many has beens in the Giants Outfield time to get aggressive going forward.

I’m all in going after Bryant he fills needs in both OF are 3B a perfect fit.A power hitting RH bat in his prime.
I would easily give up anybody not named Luciano, Ramos& Harrison,Bader are Bishop ..Bart&Hellie, Logan Wyatt just for openers to dangle to the Cubs..
