I think it’s safe to say that in the 2,529 meetings between these 2 storied franchise there has never been a 4 game series that had games end like that. Anyone feel like doing the research on that or can we just go with that claim?

I’m not going to wonder wistfully what it would have been like to sweep them. Last night’s game probably should have ended on Ruf’s swing. But if I learned anything from this series it’s that baseball players are nothing like their overreactive panicky fans. And I also learned that literally no baseball game is truly actually over till the final out has been recorded. Time is irrelevant in baseball. And that’s one reason why it’s my favorite sport.

Such a shame to see this shithead so upset.

    did see injury updates:
    Longo taking grounders
    Davis to begin Sac rehab
    Moronta worked 2/3 inning 18 pitches so did Sanchez
    Belt did some running or something. Wade Jr. too fumbly with ground balls over there. Others have commented he goes too far to his right, maybe unaware of where 2b is.
