Loo represented with his resplendent hair and we got a very nice comeback W. I understand Mac is hunting for tickets as we speak. Would be great to get a pic of both of them today.
I missed the game with a migraine. Still have it. Glad to get it now and not when San Dawg arrives for our golf game.

School’s out for Summer ! …
Great time with Loo. The game sucked. That is all.
Miller Time!
Nice picture. That win more than makes up for the late shot in Toronto. Total shot in the arm for the team. Looking forward to seeing how we do today.
Just note of caution on Matos and “warning track power…” he has 2 extra base hits in his 59 times up and 6 walks. 5 of those walks came in first 13 times up. He did have pair of 2 hit games vs. AZ but I think he’d help team more getting on base via walks and singles (and added impact of SBs) than with slugging doubles and homers. Very low K pct. so far, good to see for aggressive hitter.
Compared to Thairo who has modest .327 OB, if Matos maintained same .288 OB he’d have made 50 more outs in the 300 plate appearances than Estrada has.
It doesn’t seem like he’s started chasing. He’s not getting the Schmitt treatment, and has hit a fair number of balls pretty hard into outs. Unfortunately, the launch angle thing isn’t working for him so far (no, I do not think this is something that can be or should be adjusted by better coaching.) Another drive to the warning track yesterday. Hope some of those balls start finding the gap.
Agree. Matos still reminds me Matty Alou a great slap hitter. I will take singles any day.
He’s only 21. HR power will come later as he physically develops. A good feel for the strike zone early on will stay with him as he gets stronger. The kid can play. Those throws from the OF were top notch, and he floats out there in getting to flies and liners…
I love this crap, and why no team should give a big contract so anyone

Crazy. Makes me like Bonilla though.
Harrison update from last night (8-4 W over Reno): 3.2 innings 6 hits 3 BBs 7 Ks 3 runs 1 HR. 83 pitches.
Second day in a row (after 0 in first 60 games) Bart homered, grand slam.
Bart is ramping up his trade value. Good for him.
I kinda feel for that kid. He’s been a good dude in keeping his head down and getting better behind the dish, and working on his contact hitting. Bailey just has the look of a top of the line catcher for the next decade, and he’s Farhan’s draftee, alll point to no room for Bart at Oracle Inn. I think Bart can be a very serviceable starting catcher somewhere….
O Ks in last 16 at bats with 5 hits. Before, 21 ks in 42 at bats.
Looks like he’s working on it. Maybe he found a key.
Prior 50% K rate is no bueno at any level. Wonder if his groin is 100% back…
Livin the High Life.
Loo great pic check,Rockin a fantastic SF uni check, cool sunglasses 😎 and Hair check
Tall Miller Highlight beer 🍺 only u pull that off check!
A win against the Mets double check!
Way to bring home a winner!Macdog with you?
Patrick “Bazooka” Bailey is going to be an A/S catcher for 10 years are more!
Nothing he can’t do, a calm and collected kid who can handle this pitching staff like Posey use too.
And his approach about hitting from both sides is incredible, along with his Bazooka arm and one of the fastest release time among catchers, will have opponents 2nd guessing to run against him! Mets had 35 straight successful steals, not anymore thanks to Bazooka Bailey!
“Bazooka Bailey!”
I like it!
Bless you Kat.
Mac and I couldn’t get it done today…
Wow nice grab by Matos.
We also have ourselves a CF. He’ll improve at the plate.
The Giants could use a few more Ks from their hitters, if they’re not going to get on.
No saving those 2. yikes
Missed strike 3 call and two extra bombs.
Uh, DeScaloppini might as well be just teeing up these meatballs for the hitters.
Guy has nothing..
Isn’t there another year after this on his contract?…
Gimme Shelter
Disco is dead.
DeScal already taken out.
I smell an impending visit to the IL.
Gyros really need another serviceable starter…
Giants imploding on the mound and on the basepaths in this one so far.
Let’s see if they can stop the bleeding and make another comeback…
Matos hangs in and gets a knock off Verlander.
This kid is a keeper…
Between Matos and Bailey the Giants are set up up the middle for a longtime in 2 of the most important positions. Now to lock in a SS ( Schmitt happen?,Lucky Luciano, Fritzerald,Wilson,Ford Mercury Proctor? Someone will need to step up to replace their best SS ever..
Best part of the recent Giants is I still have hope. Many times in the past we would know this game is over
We need to trade for a starter. Who is the best starter on the Royals?
Lets go get Daniel Lynch! Good whip, good era
Giants back in .500 mode…
Why would expect an overturned challenge to ever happen in NY..
The second baseman got the phantom call ..
Estrada 2 straight DP balls killed the last 2 rally’s..Verlander being Verlander the difference..
I do like veal scaloppini over DeScalloppni any time.Giants need another starter badly but for now give 1 spot to Keaton Winn his stuff is Damm good..
To quote (more or less) Neil Young on the CSNY live album “4 Way Street”:
“It started off slow, and fizzled out altogether.”
Great time with Loo. The game sucked.
Some of our hitters are banged up. Yet:
I’m so handsome it’s almost incomprehensible…
You definitely carry that Peter Wolf vibe from J Giles band Loo..
A little Peter Wolf, a lot of Magic Dick . . . saw these guys more than once. Good times
Nice, I haven’t thought about these guys in a long time.
The Faye Dunaway years must’ve been interesting.
Saw J Geils Band once, between Geo Thorogood and the Stones at Candlestick. Geils band stunk. (And don’t let locojuan dispute this. He’s said on the record: he was upstairs unconscious for most of the concert. And Flav’s mom wouldn’t even let him attend.)
Thorogood is a baseball fanatic.
The answer to his favorite trivia question is Howie Bedell…
#flapjeopardy
Yeah I think I got you to describe at least one of your encounters with him.
Probably made it up or imagined it…
Wikipedia says he had a serious recent health problem, shut him down.
If you can’t hang with MacDog, you can’t hang with anyone.
He’s kinda like SanDog east…
There was even hockey talk!
And harness racing!

perfect description
Knicks fans gonna like Donte diVincenzo. Works hard on his D, fights his way through screens, goes up with bigs after rebounds and is unselfish on offense. Can hit his share of 3s but goes hot n cold.
Warriors fans miss the guy already; CBA agreement severely limited what they could pay him and nowhere near Knicks offer. In only season here, my mentor buddy’s fav player this year.
Oh we got CP 3 to handle the D.
Dodgers lose, D-Backs win.
