Well, at least we have the perfect antitdote for that terrible game: July 4th. The greatest of all the holidays. I’m not overly patriotic. I’d say I’m properly patriotic. But I just love everything about this day, man. And today is fun because The Great San Dawg and I have managed to schedule a golf game. We’ll probably be coming off the course during the last couple of innings of the game. So GO GIANTS! But a day like Independence Day is about so much more than just a baseball game.

Enjoy this awesome day however you choose. Just make sure you appreciate it and the country we live in.

    Man I sure wish I still have Hillerich&Bradsby model bats from bat day giveaways in the 60’s/70’s I remember having McCovey,Mays,Davenport models that also said “Powerized” above the label they were badass and the wood they used were hard to chip are break.Got a lot of use during summer days baseball at the ball fields near me.

    We still can’t hit but at least we can pitch. I wasn’t a fan of Tyler Rogers but he has been lights out this year. Possibly best setup guy in MLB. Time for us to give him some love! His brother has been lights out too considering his awful start. Those 2 must be having fun playing together!
    Considering the start the bullpen had, out 7,8,9 pitchers are rock solid, and giving us hope!
