Baggs in TA said Winn is being looked at over elbow soreness (yikes!) and Whisenhunt is on 7 day IL. Beck though had 2 inning scoreless outing. So pitching depth a little stretched, and it does suck to lose Webb start. He just gets Cained. Webb afterwards wasn’t happy Kap took him out either at 88 pitches, nor w what happened as Rogers gave up 3rd run. Baggs also said Wade Jr. unavailable to hit last night, for Wisely or anyone.
Dang it sucked to watch Justin Turner (on D no less) and Kenley Jansen beat Giants.
Webb pitched that 9 inning shutout gem and then had that terrible start last week. I was hoping Kap would have pulled Webb after 6 against Boston. I think Webb is still recovering from that 9 inning gem he threw.

Just as expected. Two of three most “impactful” blown calls last night were those two on Luciano (man on 3B). It’s outrageous to have two such in one AB. Happened one other time I recall–2021 PS game v the bums. Infuriating.
The corporation that owns the local Fox channel in my area is still in a contract dispute with DirecTV, so….no Giants game on TV for me today.
This situation is going to get a lot more real to more people if this continues into the start of the NFL season, and people start missing 49er games. But maybe that’s what it will take to get the situation resolved.
