I mean, what else is there to say? A more iconic match up in sports I cannot think of. This rivalry shaped my childhood and how I looked at sports. We seem to play them very little in the regular season.
I still remember blowing them out in ’81 and me and my friends were like “Uh, we have a good football team.” We’d never felt that way before about any local team.

Watched most of first half of Warriors preseason game, looked great. I think people worried about Chris Paul fitting in will be pleasantly surprised. Kuminga looked good too, much more energy rebounding and with added scoring touch in paint.
Didn’t see Rangers-O’s but Bochy who said, “We’re down 2 starters” uses 6 pitchers to hold down fort as O’s get 2 runs on 5 hits. Just doing what he does in postseason. Made switch after 3 2/3 from lefty to righty and pen guys got job done.
Baseball in its infinite stupidity schedules no games for today, thus robbing all the teams that won yesterday of their momentum.

Great game. Football live is so incredible as you can watch the plays come to perfection as they draw them up. The flea flicker was fucking awesome as I was watching Kittle as he broke clean off the line and got wide open and Purdy knows where to go. But the moments between Kittle going deep, watching Purdy roll out, and hoping Purdy finds him, and then gets it there is just something you don’t see on TV and it’s just so cool to watch.
Same with the pick on the deep ball that Gipson got. I saw before Dak even threw it that Gipson was in position to pick it off. Great great game.
