That one just kinda felt like we were out of it from the first inning on. Disappointing but just one game. My boy Lee as well as Chapman and Conforto continue to rake. Would like to see Soler join the party at some point. Webb facing what appears to be a bullpen game from LA tonight.

mm as Pawlie noted there are so many pitchers injured right now. Baggs said Snell will make debut next Monday at home, hopefully Cobb can return soon and roles can be readjusted for Winn and others. Not good beginning for pen obviously.
Man, Iowa-LSU women’s game was fantastic. Clark really is something special, able to find open teammates and deliver great passes to cutters and in transition, and pure scorer who can get to rim and fire away from deep.
there was big Asian club team tournament in South Bay over last weekend where I saw some girls games at HS level (and boys middle school) w some very talented players and lot of good exciting team ball and individual play from local teams and those up from LA.
Missed this one over weekend but MLBTR story says DeSclafani will have flexor tendon surgery and miss all of 2024 plus some of 2025 for Twins. As noted in story, had decent 2021 season (when not pitching against LA) and then things went downhill. 2024 is end of 3 year/$36 mil contract from Z.
Missed the last two games and glad I did. I don’t expect to beat the Dogs very often but we are giving up a lot of runs per game I know it’s early yet but the pitchers should be strong right now.

In Korea (6 1/2 seasons), Lee had 1181 hits, 383 BBs, and 39 HBPs: OBP .407 (in just under 4,000 PAs). He stole a total of 69 bases, CS 23 times. I don’t think the SB is a big part of his game. His OPS was .898, though.

Btw, tied for most errors as C in NL–Patrick Bailey with 13. Also tied for league in passed balls with 8.
my son thinks it’s amusing that the giants just traded Joey for a RHP named Strickland. I’m just glad they got someone.
